Okay let me just start off by saying this, this is not an everyday foundation! It’s a beautiful foundation if you want to have a super flawless dolled up for the club for hoenanigans look. It’s very full coverage and it stays on forever, but it’s too cakey looking for everyday. But it does cover everything and I would definitely say use it for special occasions. Unless you like the full full coverage. Personally, I only use it when I’m going out clubbing or somewhere where I need to look extra.

Lover's Blush is a soft brown/peach blush with slightly golden shimmer, which is very flattering on my coloring. It makes me look healthy as it acts as both a light bronzer and a blusher on me! When I look in the mirror, I see healthiness and not the blush on my cheeks. About my coloring so you can compare to yours - I am a natural redhead, who is now graying, so I dye my hair auburn with golden face framing highlight. I have green/blue eyes. My skin is very light. It's texture is dry with freckles and mild rosacea on my cheeks. I have recently learned to downplay the redness with a warm or neutral leaning foundation and now this blush. I do agree with the other reviewer who said that its name has changed several times over the last 20-years. I recognized the hue at the store immediately. When I look at the display, the color does not stand out amongst the others, so I guess that's why I overlooked it. I now really like it and wish I tried it a long time ago!

I love this eye shadow palate. The colors make blue/green eyes pop. It naturally brings out their beauty without being overwhelming.

I think this has been one of the biggest flops I have had in a long time. I'm not a huge fan of the original one, way too heavy. But it terms of staying power is absolutely amazing. After reading the claims that the brand tells about this new version, I gave it a try 'cause I found it for a very cheap price. I used it for about two weeks before writing this.Estee Lauder says, among other things, that it stay put 24 hours and is oil controlling. That's why I thought it would be a light wearable version of the classic one.It is absolutely natural, blends like a dream and the skin really looks like skin. No makeup effect at all, extremely light weight, no cakey at all... The cover is quite light, doesn't hide obvious imperfections on the skin. So I would say that almost all the claims are totally true. And I write almost 'cause after only one hour of wearing, my t zone was an oily mess, despite the fact I applied powder after it... In fact even right after the application it does look quite glowy, to the point of greasy effect... I must say that my skin is just normal-combination, not even oily. The second claim that doesn't work on my skin is the staying power. I did blot my face and almost the whole foundation got transfered to the tissue. I rubbed a cotton bud on my nose after blotting, and there was almost no product on it... So I am mixing it with other foundations just not to throw it away. Thankfully I did pay for it half of the price. It's a shame 'cause the finish on the face is really light and beautiful.

I used Double Wear liquid foundation for years and it did a great job of covering my redness and minor bumps. Then they changed the formula and the shades! Why do companies do this? Why fix something that ain't broke? After reformulation I still had a shade that matched my very fair skin (Shell 1C0), but it didn't cover up my imperfections and it didn't stay put all day. So the search went on.Fortunately, the Double Wear powder compact does a very good job of covering my rosacea and stays put for the whole day (about 8 hours). When it starts to fade, all I do is just add another layer! So far, it hasn't broken my skin out, even though I have combination/oily skin, and some foundations really clog my pores.I do wish they hadn't messed with the liquid formula. Also, I wish the powder came in Shell, because the lightest I can find (also in a cool shade) is now Cool Bone (1C1). It is just a bit darker than my natural skin colour. But it really doesn't make much difference and it does blend in well with my own skin tone.I need good coverage for the rosacea and also because I have a couple of small scars left over from an accident when I was much younger. Tinted moisturizers don't cover them, and neither do any of the other liquid foundations I've tried over the years (and I have tried a lot!), so I'm glad to have found this powder compact. I only hope EL doesn't start changing this formulation, too.

I am quite pleased with the effect this eye mask has on my eye area. In order to get the masks ready for application, you need to mix the two chambers so the fluid soaks the eye pads, then you can tear open the package to remove and apply the two eye masks. I often combine these masks with either a facial sheet mask or a cream mask from a tube for the rest of my face. These eye pads are made of a medium thickness gauzy fabric. Applying is easy, they are not too wet or messy at all and there is a slight, pleasant cooling effect when they touch the eye area. At times I have put the package in the fridge prior to using to increase the de-puffing effect. I leave the eye pads on for about 15 minutes and when I remove them I do notice that my eye area looks well hydrated and fine lines are less noticeable. I mostly use this in the evening, and after removal I follow with an eye cream to seal in the moisture. I already have and will continue to rebuy these eye masks.

I just got a sample of this in a gift package. Not sure if this was reformulated or what but I have been wearing it for close to a week and have really liked it. My skin looks and feels firmer and more hydrated. My skin can get oily in the mornings so I use this at night. When I wake up, my face looks amazing.

Have to chip in my two cents' worth as someone with very bad skin. I have deep acne scars all over my face, which says a lot about my dysfunctional healing process. Last year, after having some success with a facial treatment, I 'realised' that my face needs machines, not creams/lotions, and I decided to channel my money towards that. However, I don't have a job now, so I haven't been able to go for more treatments. That was when I decided to buy one expensive product in lieu of the treatments, and after much careful research, I chose this.As I have never had success with creams (from organic stuff like grapeseed oil/rosehip oil, to 'indie' stuff like Paula's Choice, to Asian skincare like Misha/Hada Labo, to brands like Lancome), I didn't have high expectations. After one month of this, I was pleasantly surprised to find my pigmentation has lightened, and my skin tone is much more even. I have less redness, which helps to make my pitted scars look less worse than they already are. Some of the large, open pores have tightened. So, throwing money at problems do work after all!

I always reach for this foundation when my skin needs coverage. This is not the type of foundation that looks like your skin. It's full coverage and will emphasize fine-lines. But it's very long lasting, when I wear it I knew by the end of the day, I'll look the same as I first apply it. I don't recommend wear it everyday, because it has the tendency to break out. Make sure you use a oil based cleanser to remove this foundation.

I do not understand the bad reviews. This is the best primer I’ve used and I’ve used a bunch. I put It on under my foundation letting it sit a couple of minutes. My makeup stays in place all day. Looks fresh and glowing. Not oily. Love it.

This had full coverage and lasted a long time on my skin, but I really didn't notice a huge difference between this and my Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless. It was also a little bit too matte for me (even more matte than the Maybelline foundation) so I would not repurchase this and would prefer to get the drugstore option.

This product is absolutely a holy grail foundation for me and I could not recommend it more. I was struggling with foundation for the longest time, every kind I tried would separate or get crumbly around my nose/forehead within an hour of wearing it. I discovered the reason behind this is they were all very high in glycerin and not water-based, whereas my skin care products are water-based, so they were not meshing well together. I searched for a water-based foundation, and came across this one, which I admittedly chose because I knew it would be available at Shoppers Drug Mart. First impressions, I was a little hesitant. All the shades, including the lightest intensity, were much warmer than I am used to, and it also didn't seem to blend super well on my hand, it's a little stiff. Adding some moisturizer helps with that, you really only need a drop of product and a drop of moisturizer and it becomes incredibly blendable. As for the warmth of the shade, once it was on my face, it didn't oxidize or come off as yellow -- instead, it smoothed into my skin and actually gave it a lovely glow! And the best part...it stays. ALL. DAY. When I checked my compact on my coffee break and saw that there was actually still foundation on my nose and not just a greasy patch of separating, which is absolutely unheard of for me. The coverage is higher than you would expect considering it is the light version of their original product, I still needed a bit of concealer on some problem areas and under my eyes (this stuff was so good I actually got the DoubleWear concealer, which is also a great product!), but otherwise it covered up the acne scarring and redness and I didn't even need to build it up. Just the one drop mixed with moisturizer, and I was good to go! LOVE. THIS. PRODUCT.
