I have a problem with most of my red lippies turning some sort of pinkish red considering my NC44 Mac SFF/Clinique Stay 20 Matte Deep Neutral skin and slightly rosy lippies. I want a true red on me and I was told that as I am warm toned I should go for orange-red lippies.Nyx Pure Red is described exactly like this so I bought it to give a try at such a color. Man! I am glady I did. It turns truly red on me. No more pinkish!Great color pay off and soft texture. It has some things I don't like though. It is a somewhat bright satin instead of really matte, although Nyx sells it like this. It accumulates in the folds of my lips, giving them a uneven appearance. I believe it needs a lip pencil as it bleeds. The package is a little fragile and feels like there is something unattached inside it, contrary to Milani, which is another brand I own a red lippie. All in all, if you are not that into matte and want a true red I recommend it.PS: Now I am going to try other orange-red lippies for sure.

I purchased this at Ulta in the deep red color, “bad girl”... the color is brilliant and the shine a texture is perfect! I have noticed that if you do not prep your lips well enough the color will travel. Which is common for highly pigmented red lipglosses. Eager to try the other shades as well.

I chose Pink Lust to try and omg it is so sexy! It is for sure a lusty pink. It is bright, 95% matte(or suede), no scent, you need to pair it with a lipliner, and it lasts. It is very pigmented, the tube will last more than a lifetime. I love the black gem topped cap as well. You will turn heads wearing this shade.

It is mattifying and hides the pores a bit but isn't the best out there, it's quite drying and gives some texture to the skin.

I repurchased this in blonde - because I found auburn too warm toned and dark (even though I have red hair lol). Blonde is quite warm toned, which may be annoying for actual blondes but works out great for me. Brand new, these pencils can be quite hard and don't give much colour payoff but once used a bit this works great for sparse brows. I use this daily, the spooly is great but sometimes the pencil can snap.

Whipped Caviar is a mauvey MLBB kind of color that works so perfectly with a variety of makeup looks. The texture is very smooth and buttery, and it feels comfortable on the lips. It isn't ultra-matte, but more of a satin-y matte like UD Vice lipsticks in the Comfort Matte formula. This is a very easy to wear shade for me (somewhere between NC10 and NC15), and on deeper skin tones I think it would be more of a true nude. It wears nicely and it feels like nothing on the lips. This is a great every day kind of lipstick, office-friendly without being pink or beige, and super-affordable.

I have normal to dry skin, and I don't wear a lot of foundation. My goal is either to set my BB cream with some concealer (usually no under eye correcting except a bit of BB cream) or just to mattify my skin after moisturizer if it looks ok because I like to be matte. I set concealer, under eye area and lids (if I choose to go shadowless) with a smaller brush and then buff everything with a dense kabuki brush.I'd say this product can do these things but it is not comfortable to use. The result is just average. My lids become shiny very soon. I noticed that if I apply it in the same quantity as other powders it makes me feel much dryer so I learned to use it very lightly because it is easy to overdo. If I apply too much and my skin feels tight I fix it with some face mist. So I definitely don't recommend this to people with dry skin unless you use A LOT of moisturizer before makeup. As some reviewers stated the powder is both light and finely milled so it goes everywhere and you can easily inhale it which I never ever encountered with any other powder. Also it gets between the lid and the jar so sometimes it won't close at once. The overall experience is messy and annoying.I don't necessarily think this product is utter disaster and I will use it up but I definitely won't repurchase. If you want an inexpensive translucent powder that will not overdry your skin I recommend looking into Essence All About Matt compact and Lumene loose powder.

This is a very pretty shade, but it is NOT a nude on me - it is a mauve-y, dusky pink. No one would ever, ever mistake it for my lips but better - it definitely looks like (not barbie pink) lipstick. It lasts a few hours and is matte without being drying. I don't think I'd repurchase just because I don't envision it becoming a staple, but it is a really nice addition to the arsenal at a great price.

Formulas really long lasting not a huge fan of the applicator it’s a straight wand w/o a slant, which makes it hard to apply with. Overall good product, exotic is the only colour I can wear though

This product is crazy good! It's my holy grail also so cheap only 4 dollars at Walmart. I have oily skin and thus product stays on all day and it's very true to color u just need to press harder for more pigmentation. The brush is not the best but you can use it to distribute color a bit. Great for people on a budget who want full eyebrows.

I was so excited to try these but I was disappointed when I applied to my lips with the doe foot applicator. The liquid was so thick, slippery and all over the place. Dabbing product to the back of my hand and using a lip brush was the only way it would apply properly with a lip liner. I used a matching NYX lip pencil.SIDE NOTE: I ended up dabbing some on my cheeks and when blended perfectly in with an ELF Small Stipple Brush it worked beautifully, I was in LOVE!! I do recommend these as liquid blush. On the lips it requires better application techniques than just a doe foot. The longevity is okay but not great on lips. On cheeks it lasted all day.

I am in love with matte lipsticks, but I also believe that you get what you pay for. I didn't buy this, a friend of mine gifted it to me. I have the colour Embellishment. Looks pretty in the jar, mauvy pink. It is of a thick and slippery consistency so it is very difficult and time consuming to apply. What's more, it never really dried completely and kept tugging on my lips. I found the applicator big and it took huge amounts out of the bottle, but maybe I'm just used to other kinds of applicators. When I finally built the lipstick on my lips and it started to dry, it transformed into a greyish mauve I didn't appreciate on me - I'm not really fond of grey lips. I'm definitely giving this away.

Love NYX lipliners for years, so picked up the shade Tea & Cookies in the Liquid Suede b/c the color looked pretty and I was curious about the product. The color is exactly as I expected it to be, a pretty soft pink which is my jam. However it's the exact same color as my HG lipsticks from other brands in this tone that can be altered maaany ways depending on the lipliner, and have a trusty formula I've rocked with for years, so why in the world would I use this?! The formula is so SLIPPERY, the application is annoying, and it doesnt play well with lipliner. If I put it on top of lipliner it smears around just like if I apply it alone, and if I put lipliner on after applying the suede first/blend the edges with it, it just smears around also. No, no, and no. Very juvenile product.
