So this is a partial review.... I just bought this today and haven't worn it on my face yet. But I wanted to start a review based just on the shade and undertone range so far. I picked Nude. I am fair with yellow undertones. Nude is the absolute most perfect match of any foundation I've ever tried. I swiped it on my neck and it virtually disappeared into my skin. Truly, never had this happen before. The consistency is light and it dries super matte super fast. I'm going to wear it to work and gym tomorrow (Florida summer humidity and heat and an hour and a half or hard sweaty workout) and will post the full review after. The price was $15 at Ulta but they always have a $3.50 off coupon so honestly it's a great price especially for the amount of product you get. Glass bottle shows the true color of the foundation and the pump is perfect! Squirts out just the right amount. So far, I'm loving this! Stay tuned.....

I saw Root Beer Float for the first time on a FOTD here on the boards. It looked like a great mauve shade on the poster. When I found it in store, it looked way more warm than I expected and for a second I wondered if I had the right lippie (I did). It was so cheap I just bought it and tried it based on how it looked on the poster. On me it is a warmer mauve (no lilac or grey tones here at all) and a light creamy texture (not sheer, not the heavy cream feel, not matte, not satin). My nw20 deep winter complexion with these weird golden undertones tend to pull out warmth / orange in shades that can go that way. So this was warmer looking on me than on the original poster. But not OTT warm...just a warmer toned mauve. When I first applied it, my first thought was, " this is like a summer version of Whipped Caviar" (not matte, slightly warmer neutral). Root Beer Float was a nice little surprise. It also kind of reminded me of a mix between MAC Mehr and MAC Cream in Your Coffee (not as brown as CIYC, not as pink as Mehr, but in that family). If you are looking for little liptick pick-me-up, check out NYX Root Beer Float.

First of all, I must say that I was on a whim to try this, given that they are affordable and have many colors to choose from. Especially on nude shades, which I am typically a nude-lipstick goer. The reason I have strayed from NYX soft matte for years (yes, years!) was because I heard that they are, first, sticky (which I hate) and the colors are not opaque (which is the main issue to consider if you want to go nude). The other thing I commonly heard (yet do not mind as the first two) was that they do not last long. Moreover, I have tried "Buenos Aires" owned by my cousin, and "Zurich" owned by my colleague (obviously, I just swatch them on my arm) and I can felt the stickiness there. Recently, out of the blue, I wanted to purchase NYX. I wanted to have a good nude-beige lipstick that is affordable, and NYX soft matte in "London" is what everybody recommended. From 'every' review posts, it was such a perfect nude-beige, yet it took me months to decide to purchase it.So on to my thoughts on this NYX soft matte in "London". I love the shade. This shade is literally the only shade of NYX that drawn my attention to ever since! It is such a nice nude-beige that did not white wash you face, really. It gave your face some tone, neutralizes your look in some way. Again, this is a nude-beige, so you must indeed wear make-up; some smoky eye look is required at least. And, I would not recommend this shade to those with medium skin tone and darker. I am Thai with fair-medium skin tone. So highly recommend to those that have the skin tone similar to me or 'lighter'. Moreover, I did not know if they have changed their formula, or the formula varies for some specific colors because I did not find "London" sticky at all. The intensity is OK (well, this is a nude after all. The color itself barely shows up, lol). So overall, NYX soft matte totally worth the hype and worth the money.

Bought "That's the Point" felt ti[p lines in black at Ulta on a BOGO 1/2 off. My 13 year old picked "Hella Fine" - with a very fine point tip, and "Put a Wing on It" - slightly thicker tip.Regular retail at Ulta in 2018 was $9.99 but averaged out to $6.95 each with BOGO and coupons.NOT Waterproof - so be aware if you wear this to a wedding or funeral or it you have excessively oily skin.On dry skin it wears pretty well.Do not "smush" the fine point or you will ruin it.

This product was my first foray into pressed finishing powders, and y’know, it ain’t half-bad. It does a nice job of mattifying my skin and blurring pores, and paired with a good primer, that effect can last most of my work shift. But translucent (aka white) powders tend to make my already-pale skin look even paler since I really need to layer them on in the summer months when I’m oily. For that reason, I think I’ll stick with tinted powders that blend into my skin better, and loose ones at that, just because I feel like I can distribute loose powder more evenly on my brush.

After deciding to purchase the NYX Professional Makeup's Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation, I thought I would also give the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Matte Primer a try with this. I must say that the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Matte Primer is without a doubt the thickest primer I've ever used. This stuff is THICK!! Because it is so thick when you apply it this does not agree with many layers of other products. It can cause moisturizer or sunscreen underneath to pill. Where this product works okay is with the new NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation. This didn't work well with other foundations I tried such as the Bare Minerals BarePro Foundation or the Boscia BB Cream. If you don't use many layers or moisturizer underneath the primer this does work better. I do love the price though. If you have oilier or normal skin and are going to try the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation this is worth trying out in conjunction with it. My video review can be seen here:

With 45 different shades to choose from and an affordable price, I really wanted to love the new NYX Professional Makeup Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation. It is also fragrance and alcohol free, which made me want to love it even more. To be honest though, this foundation was just okay. I can't see myself ever reaching for it over my other favorite foundations. I have a favorite long wear foundation, a favorite SPF foundation, a favorite full coverage foundation, and a favorite casual day foundation. The NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation doesn't fit in to any of those. For my this foundation just ended up looking cakey and unnatural. If you have dry skin I recommend you moisturize and use a hydrating primer. If you have normal or oily skin you probably won't have as much issues as I did. I would say this is medium coverage and is transfer resisitant. If you have deeper skin tones, normal/ oily skin, and few fine lines I would recommend checking this out- it just wasn't for me, but I love that they have 45 shades to choose from!!! Tested this once, and am holding off until drier months to retest. I have combo skin, but lean shiny/oily.This is a more dewy primer (moisturizing) and since it's summer/humid when I tested it, it made me a bit more greasy than I'd have liked, so I'm leaving it at a three lippie until I can test it when my skin is drier. It's very lightweight - I almost thought this was a dupe for the Smashbox primerizer (which I love) but it's not. That I can use right now in the summer and it doesn't make me as dewy as this does. It didn't make my makeup cake or anything, nor is it scented, so I think it's a decent primer if you are looking for more moisture. Did not break me out the day I tried it and it also contains Niacinamide, which is a great bonus for your skin. I think the price is good - and it's over an ounce.

I bought this and never tried it out - returned it immediately. Not because it didn' work - but because I have sensitive skin and this is very scented. It's not perfumed, but I think it's the almond oil that gives it a nice sweet scent. I liked it - but I hesitate putting anything scented on my skin, so if you are sensitive, be aware.I think the vial and dropper were really neat, so I liked the packaging and it's glass and feels very heavy.

The new Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop foundation is great for matte lovers! I watched the Alissa Ashley tutorial for this foundaiton, and she mentioned that she has dry skin and uses a dewy primer with this matte foundation and it works great.I read a comparison list of ingredients of the new Nyx foundation to the L'oreal Pro-matte 24H foundation, and they are virtually identical. I love the pro-matte, but it's a little pricey ($20+) in my area for a drugstore foundation. Once I read they were pretty much identical, I found the Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop on sale for $15 CAD (regularly $18.50). I chose the shade porcelain (103) and it's quite good! It's nice that they have a shade even lighter, and 45 shades is an impressive range, even if my local stores don't carry every shade.I like the coverage, I don't usually go for a full coverage and I'd say this is medium buildable. Applies and blends nicely, plays well with my other makeup products, isn't cakey, doesn't slide during the day. Still looks great at the end of an 8 hour day!Very pleased with this one!

I had high hopes for this eye primer but it failed! My beef with this inexpensive guy is that by the end of the day, my eyeshadow is sitting in the crease. Not as bad as some, but I'd rather pay for my favorite, Urban Decay's eye primer, than lament my smudged eyeshadow every day.

:O How did I miss reviewing this!?!? THIS IS MY FAVORITE RED!!!!!!! I adore this color. A slightly muted blue toned red. For some reason I have so many red-oranges and oranges but this red is just to die for. It's creamy and beautiful in color and formula. Oh man I'm itching for a backup just talking about it. (They seem to be getting rid of a lot of these or possibly the line). Get this if you can, it's gorgeous. I'm going to add some images as well.

Ok first of all it's São Paulo.... Not sure where everyone is getting San from. The city and name on mine is São.Anyway. I have a love hate relationship with SMLC. They feel great when you first put them on, but I'm my opinion they are drying. They're lightweight, but get crumbly and wear away on the inside of your lips throughout the day.Having said that, I wasn't going to buy any more but I really love the shade Prague and was looking to refill it. I saw a set of 3 completely different ones in Marshalls for a really good price, so I grabbed them. Two happen to be similar to some Maybelle Vivids I have (but these are matte) but this one may be my favorite because it's so different from the rest of my collection. I get why people are calling this fuchsia, but in my opinion fuchsia is more purple (I would consider Prague more fuchsia than this, for example). It's not really like any hot or bright pinks, so I compared this to my other coral shades and they're all more orange. This is actually more like a red to me but a bright red. The closest I have is Nyx Merlot, but this is brighter and more pink. I can't decide if it's more orange or blue toned. It's really in the center. But it's super pretty. I keep looking at it. So I'm glad I got this. I agree that the packaging is so misleading, and I would love a shade that looks like the bottle did, but overall this is so eye catching and wearable.I'll try to add a comparison pic later.
