Mascara -Clinique -Naturally Glossy Mascara

Excellent everyday mascara. Doesn't flake, clump, or dry out and I've had it a long time. Gives natural looking lashes.

Sunscreen -Clinique -Sheer City Block SPF 25

This is my go-to-SPF when, as says in the name, I am in the city and don't have to re-apply the sunscreen all the time. I have been using this for many years, and I choose this one because it is not a chemical spf, and my sensitive skin only tolerates mineralbased sunscreen. It is tinted, but very lightly, so don't expect it to cover up any blemishes or other beauty flaws.

It has become more oily over the years, which is why I give it 3 lippies and not a full 5. This means that it does not suit all makeup products, in particular eyeshadows may gather in the crease of the lid. However, it is not sticky, and the skin can still breathe. It does not leave a film on your face either.

Would I recommend it? I'd say this is a highly individual choice. I keep coming back to it. I have so for many, many years. But it is not the ultimate sunscreen for the face (is there any?).

Cleansers -Clinique -Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

on 4/17/2018 11:48:00 AM

I have definitely used better cleansing balms. This was quite disappointing for me. The product doesn't really melt on your skin, it is clumpy and I spend some time trying to melt the small clumps onto my skin. The cleansing properties are not the best, eye makeup especially takes a 2nd cleanse to remove. it's not supposed to have scent. But . It smells terribly like chlorine and I dislike it. The price does not justify. Will not repurchase

Mascara -Clinique -High Impact Mascara

on 4/17/2018 11:20:00 AM

this is literally my favorite mascara, it never flakes or has fall out, it lengthens my lashes and makes it super voluminous (but i do have pretty thick lashes to begin with). Also, if youre like me and hate mascaras that take forever to take off, this is PERFECT, you can honestly remove it with pure water. LOVE.

Skincare - Face -Clinique -3 Step System

on 4/16/2018 4:43:00 PM

Within a few days of using this, it gave me FULL-ON DERMATITIS, to the point where it got so bad I had to see a doctor and get a prescription for oral steroids. My under-eye and cheekbones were covered in a thick, scaly, painful, and very swollen purply red rash, and I looked like a monster. I've never had this bad of a reaction to anything; I have no known skin allergies and my skin isn't particularly sensitive.

Like many of the others who've had bad reactions, I suspect that the "Clarifying Lotion" was the main culprit. I don't know why they market it as a lotion because it is not. I assumed it was a lotion since that was what it said on the bottle, until I realized too late that it was actually a harsh, exfoliating toner.

Liquid -Clinique -Beyond Perfecting Foundation & Concealer

I love this, it is the perfect natural looking foudation, it gives you a natural glow, it is not full coverege but it does hide a lot.
I didn´t had any problems with this, some people don´t like the applicator but I´m fine by me.

Moisturizers -Clinique -Moisture Surge Intense

on 4/15/2018 8:31:00 AM

I really like this product. I've used up three jars and I find myself buying it over and over again. My skin is really sensitive and dry, and I live in such a cold and windy place (during the winter), of which my Irish skin is not a fan.

It makes my skin feel nice and soft, and not at all textured. It doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky as most day creams do. The only negative I have to say about this product is that it doesn't really feel like it lasts on my skin. Or it doesn't really protect from outer damage. I need to re-apply during the day.

Ok another con: the packaging. I don't mind the glass jar, but it is damn slippery and I've dropped it lid-less several times. The horror :(

Moisturizers -Clinique -Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

on 4/14/2018 5:01:00 PM

This product was definitely a game changer for me! I have oily acne prone skin and this moisturizer really does accompany my skin very well. It feels like it really seeps into my skin and doesn’t feel heavy at all. It doesn’t have a strong scent to it and it really provides moisture throughout the day. It also does well when accompanied by makeup. Great product.

Moisturizers -Clinique -Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

on 4/14/2018 4:56:00 PM

I have very oily and sensitive skin, so I decided to purchase this moisturizer (the version that is meant for oily skin) in hopes that it will control my shine throughout the day with or without makeup. Unfortunately, this did no such thing for my skin. If anything it makes me feel even more oily than usual. Personally, I like when my moisturizer absorbs into my skin and this moisturizer feels like it just sits on my face. It feels like I have a layer of goop on my face. If you want something that does an ok job then this is the product for you. But for my oily skin girls definitely avoid this product.

Moisturizers -Clinique -Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator

on 4/14/2018 2:17:00 PM

I had very high hopes for this new addition to the highly prized Moisture Surge range. Sadly it progressively. as i continued to utilize this cream my skin became very congested and dry. I am sure its with all the silicone's in this formula. 72 hours auto replenishing hydrator is just marketing hype. With Trisiloxane, Dimethicone in the top five listed combined with sucrose and caffeine ingredients need one say any more!
Just watch the video

We all know what caffeine does, it is an diuretic ! and bacteria needs Sucrose to survive

I have had to use an 80% lactic acid peel to unclog my congested pores. Clinique really should know better, plus why is this company still packaging some products in jars ? Come on get your act on Clinique !

Toners -Clinique -Clarifying lotion 3

This is a great toner for combination oily skin. The number three is the one I am reviewing and it does have alcohol and gets off everything that my cleanser mist and it gets the oil off my skin in the middle of the day or before bed but I only gave it three stars because it does not have peptides or anti-aging ingredients or stem cells or any of the things I'm looking for so that I can have one toner that does lots of things instead of lots of toners that do one thing. It is the one that I do like to use the most and is the first toner that I actually finished the bottle of and am considering rebuying. I had a skin care consult and if they don't have anything that impresses me more I'll buy this one again. It is a good all-around toner to leave you with clean soft skin.

Lipstick -Clinique -Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

on 4/14/2018 1:22:00 AM

I have been buying this for about 20 years! It is a beautiful, sheer plummy-berry-raisin lip tint and I always think it looks good no matter what I am wearing. I am crazy about lipstick and have a million, but this is definitely in my top five of all time. I always have one in my makeup bag. The only drawbacks are that it doesn't have great staying power and it costs about $20. But so pretty!

Moisturizers -Clinique -Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+

on 4/14/2018 12:24:00 AM

I bought this only because it’s much chaper than Avene Skin Recovery Cream and I needed extra hydration for the skin during harsh Canadian winter. At first I used it only at night, as in the morning I would my Tinted Moisturizer. Lately I ran out of my TM and hadn’t got the chance to buy one, so I used foundation and put this moisturizer in the morning too prior to foundation. After one week I noticed an improvement. It helps clearing my pores and skin feeling smooth and clean as if all the dead skill cells and even clogged pores are diminished! I’m gonna use it twice a day for the next couple of weeks to see if this really helps improving my skin condition!

Moisturizers -Clinique -Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

on 4/13/2018 9:35:00 PM

After turned 40, my oily skin changed to combination. I was struggling to find a moisturizer. My skin always looked dry. I was at Sephora, the lady gave me a free sample. I fell in love and now I am on my second container of this moisturizer.

I like the pink gel texture, this is fragrance free and oil free but very hydrating. My skin literally drinks this up and sometimes I will apply two layers.

I use this day and night and my skin looks more youthful.

I was using Estee lauder moisturizer but was struggling to find a formula with EL. Plus EL is very fragrant and starting to irritated my skin. Clinique is half the price of EL moisturizer and I personally think it performs better.
