The colour is absolutely beautiful, a bronzed pink colour, but it does emphasize the pores on my cheeks, so this is the only reason why I won't buy the product again. It lasts for 5-6 hours on my oily skin, even in the summer months. The packaging is really nice, but a litte too bulky for my taste. It is a silvery tin which I am going to reuse to store my bobby pins.It comes in a 6 gr packaging

Want an affordable quality palette that's versatile enough to take you from work to running weekend errands, vacation with you, and can do a tasteful smokey eye for date night? Stop looking, you found it, and I've added some new photos so you can see it for yourself.I adore Cargo (their products are quality and value for money) and this product does not disappoint. As with all their larger shadow palettes, it's designed in duos/quads that work together - but the beauty of this palette is that all the colours are doable and actually work here - separately, in duos, in quads, and in various combinations. Maybe it's just me but none of the colours are too light or dark, too warm or cool, too sheer or heavy, too shimmer or matte, too day or night, or too occasion or season-specific. Nicely pigmented with no fall-out, you can layer and blend these to achieve many looks, keep them light or build them to the desired intensity. The packaging is terrific here: It has a mirror to make application easy and includes a nice dual-ended brush and lovely black eyeliner. It has a magnetic closure, which is really handy when you're on the run, and it's durable. I can't count how many times I've dropped this palette or it's gotten knocked off my desk. It's even been through the roughness of baggage claim and customs. Twice. The mirror doesn't crack, no splits or dents in the packaging, the magnetic latch works like new, and no cracked or broken shadows. It's also easy to wipe clean with a cotton swab or tissue, did I mention that? True story. Of all the Cargo palettes I've enjoyed, this one is the only palette I've ever owned where all the shades are pretty much evenly worn down because I use all of them regularly. Not a dud in the bunch. (Having said that, lately I seem to favour Rush Hour, Industry and Metro.) So maybe it's not the showiest palette in the history of time but it is the hardest working, most versatile palette I own, and It's earned the coveted real estate it occupies on my desk. In fact, it goes everywhere with me. Bang for buck? This really is an essential palette. I picked mine up for less than 10 USD (you read that right) from wholesalers closing shop. Truthfully, I would have paid five times that for it but you don't have to. It's currently still available on the Cargo website for 34 USD with free shipping.

Straight up, I love me some Cargo. Say what you want but this company makes some seriously good stuff. That said, I wish I'd picked a different colour. DUBAI makes me look as if I've been embalmed and that's just not quite the look I'm going for here. Don't get me wrong, this lipstick is creamy, glides on well, and has great coverage. But I have no idea if it stays put because I had to remove it before one more person asked me if I was feeling poorly. Right lipstick, wrong colour. Better luck next time.

LOVE this foundation. Total Holy Grail!! But I am heartbroken that Cargo has apparently discontinued it. Everything was perfect about this foundation - from the excellent coverage to the totally natural finish. My search begins for a new foundation & I can only hope to find one I love half as much as this one.

This is one of two limited edition ( movie merchandising tie in) for the Star Wars franchise, released in fall /winter 2017 . I got mine for Christmas 2017. Initially, I was wishing that I had received the Dark side palette, but after seeing YouTube reviews I'm happy with the one I have. The palette measures at about seven inches long by about three wide and three quarters of an inch deep. Outer box is shiny black with a metallic gold foil embossing for the light side logo and lettering. There are eight shadows in the palette, and unlike other Cargo palettes, these are not named but numbered with Roman numerals ( reference to movie ?) . Actual palette packaging duplicates the outer box , again giving a shorthand tutorial recommendations as to how to put together a eye look. Stated shelf life is supposedly 12 months. Inner packaging is the texture glitter in black .( I see the tie in thought- starry space hyperdrive etc. but it loses a star from me for that. I don't care for the glitter texture in my hands , I would have preferred a smooth black slightly jelly texture with silver specks imbedded within-easier to keep clean. )As to the shadows they all seem to be warm toned in this palette , unlike the other Cargo palettes in my collection. The shadows all work well together, in 5 matte and 3 lightly satin formats.1. Warm cream/ beige matte2. Warm cream /beige satin possibly a hair darker 3. Warm Terracotta Peach matte 4. Warm mauve satin5. Light terra/peach satin ( approximately two to three steps down in color intensity from #3)6.Brown/Berry/ Burgundy matte7. Medium- Dark Brown matte8. Dark plum brown ( satin ? Micro sparkles) I've enjoyed this palette, every look I've done with it has pleased me . I don't recall any creasing ( didn't use primer) . Yes the color scheme is somewhat limited ( peach/berry/ brown) but I like it ( and am stocking up on warm palettes while they are easily obtainable) . There can be a bit of fallout , but the usual tactics ( tap your brush, do eyes first, use eye shields, powder a bit heavily under eyes and brush away any fallout etc.) apply. I didn't have any major issues with fallout , and I usually do my makeup on Sunday mornings as a passenger on the way to church! The peachy colors are also useable as a coordinating blush. Pan size is 0.07 X 8 ; or 8x 2.25g. The eyeshadow texture is sort of smooth, dry and a bit powdery, but not lacking in pigment. It's between Estée Lauder and Lorac in pigmentation in my opinion. If I ran out and could still find it? Yes , I'd repurchase. I'd recommend this to warm neutral matte palette lovers. If you liked the UD Daydream palette, Heat or Petite Heat, TF Peachy Mattes then this might be one you'll love too . For more variety I'd combo this palette with some metallic shades ( gold, rose gold, copper, bronze, champagne) or maybe a plummy purple or warm pink glitter pigment. Over all I'm very happy with it , as I usually default to mattes lately.

Cargo Getaway Eyeshadow PaletteI found this eyeshadow palette at TJ Maxx for $5. I have several of Cargo’s shadow palettes and they are all great. This includes 12 shadows in plums and gray shades with a couple nuetral shadows thrown in. There are shimmer and mattes in the collection as well. Super pigmented, finely milled and quality shadows that blend easily and last all day with a good base. Love!

The eyeshadows are all super pigmented, buttery, very blendable and not prown to huge amounts of fallout. Plus they are more cool toned and/or neutral. Most eye palettes seem super warm, which is not for me. I love this. The brush is excellent and the eyeliner doesn't suck, it's very blendable and easily smoked out.

Wow, so surprised to see some of the negative reviews on this palette. I have had mine for over 4 years and really need to purchase another as I have hit pan on so many of the shadows. This is an all around work horse of a palette and since I travel a lot for work, I usually bring this along since it easily goes from day to night. Yes some may consider this palette a bit boring but for work travel, it is a godsend. One thing that I thought of as I was writing this is that I purchased mine through ULTA, I was a hardcore Cargo Cosmetic addict back when ULTA sold in stores. Their foundation is HG, but does NOT travel well since the packaging is like a Capri Sun juice pack, but the formula is heavenly. I don’t care for shopping at Kohl’s, the makeup department seems to be the place where the mothers of small children dump them so they can shop in peace, and they use all of the testers as finger paints, ugh! Just wondering if the formulation has changed since the palette first came out years ago. When I reorder, I will go through ULTA or Cargo direct, I am hoping that they haven’t changed formulas as I really Love this palette and would hate if the formula changed.

This palette is a joke. It's so dissapointing that FOR SURE I will never again buy any eyeshadow from Cargo, and I will be hesitant to buy anything else from them as well. Its called the essential palette, and by this they mean an off white light matte color, a light shimmer bronze color, a shimmer grey color, and a dark matte black color. The bronze color hardly shows up on me. The top row of colors are so similar they could remove 3 of them and the palette wouldn't be affected. Same with the bottom row, all the dark shaded are virtually interchangeable. The pigmentation is decent, but not great. Blendability is super average. Nothing to write home about. It comes with an eye khol and a brush that is usable but not great. This is not worth picking up AT ALL. And to think I passed on a smashbox mini palette to get this one instead because the picture on the back deceivingly looked like it came with a good range of colors. Will not repurchase. Do not reccomend. How dare you Cargo?!

I guess I must've been lucky with these, as none of those I've gotten have been dry (I've owned 6 in total: 3 black ones, one grey, one gold, one dark green). I like these because they are very smooth (no pulling at my eyelashes) and deposit a good amount of color. On me, they last well without smudging, all day. The only thing I dislike is that the pencils need to be sharpened - twist-ups are always more practical IMO. Would buy again!

I bought this only for the 6 light colors in the top row. I am 51 years old and am desperately looking for eye shadows that does not make my eye area look crepey. I like that this eye shadow is finely milled and applies softly to skin. The top colors are soft and muted, so not for every skin type. I have porcelain skin and the light colored matte shades work great on me. The bottom row is dark colors, some with shimmer. I have found that the dark colors have little pigmentation and poor staying power. I do not have issues with fallout with this palette but overall, the eye shadow is not long lasting on me, even with eye primer. Halfway through the day, my eye shadow has faded. Also this eye shadow creases. The included black eye liner pencil, is soft enough to smoothly line eyes and is a deep rich black which I really like. I would not repurchase this and probably would not purchase Cargo eye shadow again because it does not last long enough on skin.

I have this in the color Canaria, which is peachy nude color. I did not find this lip liner to be waterproof or long lasting. It lasted as long as any other lip liner I have ever used. The pencil is hard and waxy so I had to tug it onto my lip line. Because the formula is so dry and waxy, it accentuated my vertical lip lines.

I love this palette. I'm so excited that cool tones are making there mark. They do have pigment for days which means that the draw back is the fallout. I love the packaging because it's sturdy. they're keeping my babies safe.

Super impressed with these powders, reminds me of my Hourglass palette at a cheaper price. This is a new product from Cargo, it retails for $34... There are 3 powders that are listed from left to right as "Bright"- for a subtle lit from within glow, buff all over the face with a fluffy brush.. " Beam"- for a strong highlight use on forehead, cheekbones, cupids bow, down nose, and center of forehead.. 'Bronze"- for a warm glow sweep on cheekbones, and temples with a large fluffy brush... I can't really see the "Bronze" shade working as an actual bronzer on anyone over nwnc30, but it could be used as a highlighter or blush topper.. Cargo could really revamp their packaging to look a little more luxurious, but that's a minor issue when the powders are so buttery, finely milled, and pigmented. Definitely recommend.❣💄💋*pic is my actual palette, non enhanced photo so you can see how it looks.
