It's a light weight lotion. Not sure if it helps acne control but there's no downside to it.

It feels cool after applying on my T-Zone area. Maybe it did help a bit with oil block, but the effect doesn't last long.

I bought it because it's cute, my fault, my skin can not work medium hydration anymore,I need strong moisturizer or else it will dull my complextion. For teenagers this will probably work.It moisturising enough without being greasy.Message it properly and it will absorb to the skin and leave the skin feels hydrated. It doesn't work for me because it make my skin dull , usually because the moisturizer only sit on top of my aging skin instead of absorb under my skin. But probably best for 15 to 20 years old .At that age , usually no need strong moisturizer.

Wonderful for my combination acne prone skin. It's a gel formula that contains salicylic acid and comes in a moisturising but non-greasy base. Coverage is sheer to medium, and is easily spreadable on skin - I don't need to use a lot, around a small pea size for my whole face. It needs a few minutes to fully settle on skin, but like other gel foundations it dries down to a thin, heat-resistant film that isn't as prone to melting and sliding off in the heat. Overall appears semimatte and slightly dewy without powder, and softly matte with a decent powder. It has impressive staying power for a BB cream, probably as it's gel based, but it won't reduce oil production all that much so blotting films or papers are still needed throughout the day. The shade range is very limited, just two - light beige and natural beige. Both have a yellow undertone. The light beige shade by itself is too dark for me, it hovers around NC15-20 in MAC shades, so I mix it with a pale pink CC cream to get a shade closer to my own skin tone. Ettusais' own pink amino CC cream works best IMO although it is fairly expensive. It's great for using the week before my period when I get acne breakouts, I still need concealer over red/dark pink marks but it offers medium, natural looking coverage without causing further breakouts. I'm not sure whether the salicylic acid in it has much of a physical impact, or if it's more of a psychological benefit, but in any case it feels light on the skin without worsening any underlying acne. I just wish the shade range was better.

This comes in two equally gorgeous colors, a burgundy and a pinky-orangey coral. I had already purchased a similar lip&cheek product in burgundy from a competing brand, so I got the coral one from Ettusais. It`s a gorgeous creamy lipstick which is fairly moisturizing and shiny, but does need touch-ups throughout the day. As a blush it is equally gorgeous and easy to build up. The only thing is, as I am very oily skin the blush also needs a touch up or two as the day goes on. This isn`t a major issue, as the twist-up crayon makes it very easy to use and I enjoy taking a bathroom break to touch up my make up. There is no fragrance or shimmer in this one. The formula is especially friendly to acne prone skin, as most of the Ettusais products are, so I never break out from this or any of their other products I`ve tried. Would definitely repurchase.

This is my third brow mascara product; I`ve tried Benefit Gimme Brow and its supposed dupe Essence`s Make me Brow. Ettusais is much better than my previous favorite brow mascara from Benefit. Hated the Essence one. That wand is a bit awkward because I think it`s meant for fuller, thicker brows. Mine are sparse from over-plucking. What I love most about it is how easy it is to build natural looking color and depth with this. That wand might be a bit too big for my skinny brows, but the hairs are gentle and can be manipulated well to place the product where I need it. And the wand hairs are soft and don`t scratch the hell out of my skin like Benefit and Essence. The color is natural, although unfortunately the range is limited to three shades. Luckily the medium one is a close match for me, and I use it coupled with a brow powder to build some extra depth by having some other hues in my hair. It is water-proof and incredibly long-lasting. I will keep repurchasing this because it is a little more than half the price of Benefit`s Gimme Brow.

This is my secret to natural, great-looking skin with a semi-matte finish. I have acne-prone skin and have used this everyday for the past year without problems. I blend a small drop on my forehead, nose, and chin with my fingers and it blends seamlessly with the rest of my face. If you use it with a light hand, the small bottle will actually last quite a while. I go through a tube every 6 months - and that's with daily wear.

I have this eyeliner in navy and have worn it all summer and this little pencil is as waterproof as they come: it`s hazy hot and humid in Western Japan but my liner didn`t melt on me. The color is opaque and beautiful with a slight hint of golden shimmer. So buttery and easy to apply and the stick is fairly thin so it`s easy to tightline. If you like a smudgy eye though, you have to work fast because it sets quickly and once it`s set only a good oil will take it off. My L`Oreal and other brands` gel eyeliners have been disappointing because of how quickly they dry up and turn useless in their tubes, but the Ettusais ones will not quit on you. It`s so cheap, too. Will definitely repurchase.

This is one of the lower priced Japanese foundations, I like to think of Ettusais like the "Japanese Revlon or Maybeline." It contains serum, SPF 25, and other anti-aging ingredients that are supposed to prevent the signs of aging in the long run. I wasn`t expecting a whole lot, but then I did pay just about 2000 yen for it, so I thought it would be good for low-key workdays. It performed quite nicely: it was easy to blend (I use fingers, though the consistency is thick enough to work with brush or sponge), the coverage was medium with just a very tiny pump, so I think you could build up the coverage (I haven`t, I don`t really like full coverage). There was no fragrance or sparkles, it pooled in the pores around my nose a bit, but was easily fixed with a kabuki brush, and it lasted about 6 hours without powder touch-ups. It`s a matte finish, but it doesn`t fall flat. The only issue could be the range of colors: all shades lean pink and there are no shades for darker complexions, like with most Asian brands. I would totally repurchase this, it`s cheap, does the job well, a good foundation for folks on a budget.

I`ve tried most of the dark-circle serum massagers out there, from Garnier, L`Oreal, Clinique, L`Occitane and La Roche Possay, and so far none of them, including this one, have impressed me. In their defense, I`ve had under-eye wrinkles since I was in my 20`s, so not much that can be done there, I suppose. But I was hoping to see some relief for my dark circles at least. Results for all, high and low end: meh. So why do I continue using them? Well, for one I need a primer for under-eye application, and since I have really oily skin and these are not so heavy, some of them (esp. La Roche-Possay`s Pigmentclar and this one) make good under eye primers. If I use my regular night time eye moisturizer my concealer tends to slip. Then, there`s the hope factor: here`s to hoping one day I`ll stumble on that one of these products that actually works better. The Ettusais line is aimed at the younger, 20`s crowd, so this product might be better at prevention? It also claims to reduce wrinkles and laugh lines, but I haven`t seen a lot of improvement in the 3 weeks I`ve been using it. Would I repurchase this? Probably, because I live in Japan and this is accessible and reasonably priced, unless something different comes along.

Purchased this 3 months ago after hearing many rave reviews from Asian beauty bloggers and I've finally concluded that it's... an ok product. Not great, but not bad either. The formula comes in 3 shades (10, 20, 30). For my light-medium (warm leaning neutral) skin, 20 was the closest colour. Not the best colour match though, it gave my skin a pallid cast as it's slightly too light. The consistency is very gel-like, even silicony. The silicon feeling was a tad worrisome since I don't like things that feel like it's going to clog my pores. However, the texture was my main beef with the product as it seemed to emphasise my dry patches and did not sit well with my skin so that by the end of the day, it looked very unnatural. For the record, my skin is combination - I get oily around the t-zone and dry along my chin and the corners of my mouth. It held up decently against glasses though, with only minor streaking along the areas where my glasses would come into contact with the skin. I also enjoyed the fact that it's got SPF30, is non-comedogenic and only has the slightest of scents (it claims to be fragrance-free and there's a very faint make-up smell, almost paint-like but you've really got to huff it to tell and it disappears on the skin). Packaging is nice though; love the squeezy pale pink tube which is cute, hygienic and doesn't take up too much space so it's easy to travel with. I just wish the tube would have the expiry date printed on it, and not the box which you would inevitably throw away just for convenience's sake.Overall, it's alright. If you've got normal-oily skin, it's worth a try especially if you match their limited shade range. Otherwise, you're better off looking for something else.

I previously used the SkinFood Mushroom BB cream, which had a very strong fragrance that didn't appeal to me and generally didn't do much for me (came in only two shades, and both were far too pale and off for my skin tone).I got this after doing some research into Japanese drugstore cosmetics, and this came highly lauded. So I bought one after much deliberation and consideration (necessary, given the pricetag it came with). It was expensive and picking the right shade was difficult, but given that Japanese foundations and creams usually come with a yellowish tint (perfect for me, as opposed to Western and Korean cosmetics that have more of a pinkish tint), it was a fairly quick process. I used it a few weeks later for the first time, and even my sister (the make-up connoisseur between the two of us) was impressed. The coverage is quite sheer, but since this is a BB cream and not a foundation, I wasn't expecting much. I have a few hyperpigmentation scars leftover from my hormonal acne, and the BB cream couldn't hide it properly. Nevertheless, I felt it worked quite well in evening out my skin tone overall. The end-result was a smooth and non-dewy finish, a little pale but nothing blush and concealer couldn't fix. It didn't clog my pores (HUGE BONUS FOR ME), didn't cause me to breakout any mini-volcanoes and didn't irritate my skin (SO TRIPLE WIN FOR THE SKIN).I applied this using my fingers, but I would recommend using either a blender or perhaps a brush (skeptical, as this is expensive stuff and I wouldn't want it to end up more on a brush than on my skin) for a more even application.I love this very much, and will definitely buy it again.

Non oily and I don't need any power after applying ettusais mineral bb cream. I have tried many types of bb cream. They are either too oily or not having good coverage. Ettusais BB cream is thus far the best.

I don't understand the bad reviews. This little soap bar has done wonders for my cleansing routine. I don't know about the other countries, but Singapore's Ettusais do sell a soap holder separately so that's least of my problems. This soap lasts pretty long compared to liquid/gel cleansers. I said it does wonders for my skin, and that's not a lie. My skin is pretty oily and I feel that it takes off the grime and excess sebum really well. It clears out my breakouts pretty well which can take quite some time to heal. After washing, it is a tad bit drying but you are supposed to moisturise after washing your face so I honestly don't get what's all those complaints about having to moisturise straight after using it.It foams pretty well in my opinion, since I read instructions on another site that you're supposed to wet your hands and rub the soap between your palms to foam it up. Foaming the soap is key to use this soap efficiently to gently take off the dirt and grime. I have already repurchased my second bar of this, and finishing up my first bar. I recommend this for people who have acne prone skin or really oily skin like me.
