Sunscreen -Bior -Nobi Nobi Kids Milk SPF 50+ PA++++

2018 version PROS: Unscented, non-irritating, doesn't sting if it gets in my eyes. Moisturizing enough to use alone without a moisturizer underneath for combo-oily skin. Rubs in easily, lasts all day, and doesn't leave a white cast.

CONS: Leaves a faint but lasting greasy sheen on the skin, probably due to the petroleum jelly in the ingredients.

100% non-white cast and non-shiny, cost-effective SPF50 sunscreen...sounds like a dream come true right? Yes, but unfortunately it's a short-lived one. The amount of alcohol in this is not good at all, regardless of how oily a skin type one might have, as I discovered into week No.2 of using this. My cheeks and forehead became super flaky. I think when there's this much alcohol, plus fragrance and citrus ingredients it can be a recipe for disaster for sensitive skin types. I immediately stopped using it and my skin went back to its normal self in about 3 days. Regardless of that I won't dispose of this as I'm happy to use for short durations (2 or 3 days maximum) where UV exposure requires a higher SPF than what I normally wear, i.e a summer weekend in Dubai for example but for long term use, absolutely not!

Bought it due to the HG reviews. My skin felt like something was sticking to it and it made my pores clogged, reddish and bumpy after a few uses. My sensitive skin does not really agree with Biore's products :(

Treatments (Face) -Bior -Pore Cleansing Strips - Nose

I use pore strips regularly. They help but they don't remove everything from all the pores, it's very hit and miss. Currently, after several years on and off usage, I now only use midweek and on the weekend - hoping that what isn't pulled out of my pores on a Wednesday, does get removed on a Sunday! It takes very little time, you just lightly dampen your nose, apply one of these, pushing any air bubbles out and leave to dry for 10 minutes or so. If you're in a rush - turn on a fan or fan heater and face it so that the air blows straight at your face. It will dry stiff in just a couple of minutes! Oh and whatever you do, don't allow these to fold onto themselves as they are impossible to separate, no matter how small the area that has stuck onto itself.
I do keep reading that these are not good for the skin on your nose when used long term, but until I find something more effective, I'll stick to using these twice a week. They're not too expensive, although price has gone up in recent years and they're very easily available.

I've only been using this for about a week and so far I like it. It very, very gently exfoliates and I can use it every day if I want. It's like a minty and tingly cream cleanser with a decent amount of soft beads in it. I don't know if the formula just recently changed but people seem to think it has plastic microbeads in it but it actually has synthetic wax, which biodegrades. I probably wouldn't have bought it but it was on sale and I had a coupon so I had to. I've never had any luck with Biore products but I like this.

Okay, this is my HG suncreen. I've been using this daily for the past 4 years, and I've repurchased this over and over again. I hate sunscreens that are greasy or that leave a tacky or oily film on your face, and this does a great job of just sinking into your skin without leaving a trace. I can't feel it once it dries! It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, but not tacky or oily. Its formula is slightly watery, and is very easy to spread across my face. It also dries pretty quickly and does not leave a white cast in photos. It is, however, not particularly useful for events in which you will be perspiring a lot (you might want to get a more heavy-duty sunscreen for that!). For day-to-day use, it works well and gives you a good base to apply your make up.

It's not too expensive here in Singapore and each tube lasts for about 9-10 months. There are no cons about this, and I will probably use this sunscreen forever and ever as long as they are producing it :')

Cleansers -Bior -Facial Cleansing Cloths

These are a pretty decent way to cleanse your face. They did a decent job of getting most makeup off, but I always preceded it with a separate eye makeup remover, and followed it up with a splash of water and an astringent. It worked really well when I followed it up with a face wash (Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean). The only issue i had is it would burn when used around my eyes. But I would definitely purchase it again to use when traveling or in a pinch.

I would not recommend these to anyone. These did not remove any blackheads... and I have very large clogged up pores on my nose. The strips also leave black marks on your nose after removal. The original pore strips are great, but not these.

I mean, the packaging needs more outstanding, as to its potential benefits. Of course, I understand that Japan native products usually have the ordinary appearance, but :)))))

I picked up some of this at an Asian beauty store because it was highly rated and I wasn't disappointed!
This has made a notable improvement in the hydration of my skin and it's a product that makes it easy to wear sunscreen every day. It absorbs quickly and doesn't affect my makeup. I love that it's not thick or greasy and it's invisible once absorbed into the skin.
This has become a staple for me.

Toners -Bior -Witch Hazel Toner Facial Treatment

foto

Used this just twice, gave up... and then found another use for it - on back and shoulders, but more about that in a second. It's simply too drying and harsh for most face skin types and left mine feeling tight. In addition to what glitterdoom has written which is spot-on, I don't see how it can reduce surface shine as Biore claim, because by stripping the skin of its natural sebum it will only encourage it to produce more to replace what was removed.

However this is working well for any post-waxing acne that appears on back and shoulders (even chest) in much the same way that Tend Skin does (i.e alcohol and salicylic acid combo) and so will use for that purpose only. If you're looking for a salicylic acid toner for the face, Paula's Choice has a good one and if on a budget The Ordinary's 2% is quite good too. This one however I would approach only with caution.

Toners -Bior -Witch Hazel Toner Facial Treatment

This product just came on the market, how exciting! I beg of you, if you love yourself, do not spend $7 on this cocktail of irritation. The main ingredients of this toner are 3 different types of drying alcohol (listed as alcohol denat., isopropyl alcohol AKA rubbing alcohol, and just plain “alcohol”) along with a few splashes of water and “witch hazel water”. Then there’s a bit of menthol in there to further dry out your face, but at least you’ll be able to “feel it working.” Oh, and then of course there’s fragrance. Presumably a decent amount of it in an attempt to mask the nose-frying alcohol smell.

I promise you, there are MUCH better salicylic acid products available at this price point. Trying to burn all your skin off with alcohol is far more likely to worsen breakouts than to improve them. For a more budget- and skin-friendly option, try Stridex Maximum Strength pads.

This toner is one of the most horrifyingly formulated products to hit the market in recent years, and is absolutely not worth your money.

Cleansers -Bior -Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

Let me start off by saying I have been following (sometimes loosely) the acne.org method for about 5 years or so now, with good results. However, I am pregnant at the moment and my skin is just not responding the same way. I decided to give this cleanser a shot on a whim because I read that charcoal products were safe to use during pregnancy and I have been very happy with it. I am more than halfway through the bottle and it has not irritated my skin at all, and it definitely leaves me feeling clean. It even removes makeup(I double cleanse for this)

It does have a fairly strong scent, but I find it kind of pleasant.
