this is the crustiest concealer i have ever tried.you would expect a concealer marketed as "naked skin" to have more of a natural finish, which is what i was looking for, but this concealer is really, overwhelmingly matte, at least on my dry skin. it somehow manages to both be really matte but also really thin and sheer, so it doesn't have much coverage and is nearly impossible to build up.the texture of this is really awful, it doesn't blend smoothly and i have to stand there trying to blend it in for way too long. it also clings to every dry patch and accentuates it. trying to cover up blemishes with it is useless.on the positive side, the packaging is nice and it looks decent enough under the eyes, although still a bit crusty. overall though, this was a waste of money. way better stuff at the drugstore.

i realize this is an unpopular opinion, but gosh i really hate this palette.i bought this so i would have a nice, small, basic palette that i could use for a simple eye look. unfortunately, i was really disappointed. the 3 lightest shades (venus, foxy, walk of shame) do not show up on my eyelids at all. i might as well be using a plain powder. naked 2, the 4th shade, barely shows up as well. the two darker shades, faint and crave, definitely do show up, but blend patchy and uneven, and look dry and crusty on the eyelids.as for positives, the packaging is really nice and convenient, and looks pretty and sleek, however i definitely wouldn't recommend this. the quality of the shadows is no better than a 5 dollar palette from the drugstore, and this was pretty expensive.

Rapture and Sheer Rapture are my go-tos when I just want a pretty and 'goes with almost anything' lip look. As others have mentioned, the formula of the Vice lipsticks is really comfortable...I find all versions (from cream to matte, metallic etc) really easy and non drying on the lips. Rapture is a dusty -plum with a creamy texture (cream formula)and applies quite opaquely so you get the intended color on first application. I will def repurchase.

Best powder highlighter i've tried. I bought this in the pinky shade Aura and applied with a light hand it looks like a natural "from the inside" glow on my fair skin, with a subtle hint of color that is pretty flattering. It is not chalky and well blended won't look cakey. Lasts 6-8 hours on my combination skin. Don't wear it every day but i haven't noticed breakouts on this (and i break out a lot on makeup). Expensive but lasts forever. Love the packaging but no mirror in it ;c

This concealer just isn't for me. I have tried to use this in a number of ways and applying it using different methods and it just looks awful on me. I purchased it primarily to use under my eyes but to possibly use on blemishes too. It looks so dry and separates quickly too. I applied over an eye cream and it made no difference. I usually love Urban Decay products so was disappointed. I do however think that this might potentially be better for those with a combination/oily skin type. I am NC20 and the shade I purchased is Light/Warm. The shade is OK but quite yellow. I have decided to stick with MAC Prolongwear concealer for now.

I was told when I was buying the product to get one half a shade lighter than I wanted as it oxidizes when it's on. I have oily/combination skin and I'm really disappointed with it. it goes on great and looks amazing but within a few hours it has settled into every line on my face and after about 8 hours is basically gone off my face. I've tried priming my face and setting with different powders but it hasn't made a difference! I'll be going back to my reliable reckon colorstay foundation.

I should have trusted the reviews here, but had heard good things on Youtube and decided to just go for it.I bought it after trying it in store, which saw me remove my makeup, apply some UD moisturisers etc, and then this over it, and in the shops it seemed to look and feel great, so I walked out feeling confident. Well, that was where it ended, because apparently it only works if you apply it over other UD products. I have dry skin, but manage this with good products, regular exfoliating, and by the time I'm done with my normal routine, my skin is hydrated and smooth, and is generally fine with most makeup products. I also spend a lot of money on SPF products that will work well under makeup, because otherwise, what's the point. I have two chemical SPF products (Heliocare and La Roche Posay) and one mineral (Juice Beauty). I have about 10 concealers (Dermablend/WetnWild/Catrice/Laura Mericer/Maybelline/Benefit/Bourjois) that I rotate through and about 10 foundations (MAC/Smashbox/Estee Lauder/Bourjois/Chanel). All of them work okay to brilliantly over these products. I will not buy a primer for everyday use. I'm fine to use one for special occasions, but I really think the idea of a daily primer, when you've already applied a bunch of other skin care products and actives, is silly. This concealer is currently the worst product in my arsenal. I would have intended to use a concealer like this as a cover for some light redness and as general complexion fixer on those days I don't want to wear foundation. I don't have dark circles, but I would have liked to have used it to lighten my under eye areas on days I look a little less for wear. I would have also used it for more full on make up days and special occasions. That said, it applies TERRIBLY over both the chemical sunscreens. I have tried it 4 x in two weeks with these sunscreens, trying desperately to make it work. Twice, it turned into the most bizarre blotchy disaster, with even the most minimal application. It's honestly so bad that I've had to literally wash off my entire face and start everything again. The other two times, its taken any bit of dry skin I had, often finding dryness I didn't even known existed before (particularly around the nose area), and then made it look 100% worse. The first time I happened to be at the shops, and it was so bad, I had to go and buy that La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm because the flakiness (out of no where) was so off putting. It applies FINE over the mineral sunscreen, but in an hour it has settled into every single fine line on my face, and it's well faded.Honestly, this product was an absolute disaster for me. If you identify with my skin type and skincare routine here, DO NOT EVEN BOTHER.

This is my favorite 24/7 pencil. I have tried a bunch and think this one was the silkiest! It glides right on and stays in place. The shade is a metallic silver full of micro glitter. It makes my blue green eyes look really pretty. I like to wear it cat eye style and also on my inner corners.

Stay away from this concealer if you have dry skin or a dry undereye. It could be a good concealer because the longevity is great, but just cannot work on dry skin.

Tried this in Naked, color is really pretty and everyday wearable BUT I expected super shiny from a product called hi-fi shine....it was shiny but not that shiny. Like the same shine you would get from any normal non-hi-fi gloss. I also was disappointed with the actual tube/applicator/product amount. It gives very little product with each dip. At first i didn't mind because who likes a gloss that has way too much product on it? Not me, that's for sure. But this had such little amount i had to dip it like ten times to do my lips. Not a horrible thing but seems like you would use up this product really really fast. Another mediocre higher end gloss.

i like this palette, but of course this is just my experience and, as with everything, YMMV. first of all there is a range of depths.. light, medium, medium-dark and dark which is a good thing.there is a cream highlight shade which some people find essential (and it is more of a satin-matte than a matte)some may object to the number of other light shades but i do use them all as bases and for blending, depending on what other shades im using. for me, the palette provides 4 base/blending shades, 3 transitions, 4 shades for crease/outer lid/liner, and the highlight shade.as a neutral leaning cool person, i am glad that the palette is not chock full of warm shades. i do like a few and there are a few in there so im happy with that. it is also not full of cool shades either, but again there are a few and i enjoy those as well. i think this palette is good for creating a variety of base looks to which i add shimmer or glitter or pop of colour to the lid. with this palette i can create a pink/burgundy look, a pink/bluish gray, a taupe/neutral brown, a warm orangey brown, and use black as needed in any of the looks.UD's matte formula for this palette is firm, some may say a bit dusty, a bit dry. i will not call them soft and creamy. some people do like a bit of a drier formula. i for one find that to be a bit easier to work with, esp when in a hurry as this kind of formula does not fall out like a softer formula often can.pigment is sufficient.. except like i said there are 5 light shades in total and some people may think that is excessive.the transitions and darker contouring shades work fine for me. this palette is a good buy if you have no other mattes, or you would like to be able to grab just one palette and create your choice of a warm, cool or neutral base look. does the palette blow my mind? no.. it is a workhorse that does its job without giving me any trouble.

I love this lipstick. The formula is very nice, with a comfortable feeling and great wear. I have this formula in a few colours, and the formula is a winner.
This colour is quite lovely. It is a “mauvey” nude on me that is quite understated but still looks put together. I often go for a bright lip, but this still makes me feel good, even though it is far from bright!

One of the very few makeup products I've used once and then immediately gotten rid of. I received a sample size of this from Mecca and it's near unusable because it's so short - the entire brush (including handle) is shorter than my pinky, making application difficult. The bristles are also long and spiky, making it painful if it catches you in the eye. I've been applying mascara for fifteen years and rarely get it on my skin and I actually strongly prefer the plastic tipped brushes like Covergirl Lash Blast Volume, but the deluxe sample has bristles so long that it's difficult and painful to use.It has a nice deep black colour but does nothing special in terms of volume, length or curl. You can get the same results from a mascara that costs a fraction of the price. It also clumped slightly but not excessively so.The biggest deal breaker for me though was that while I had no smudging, my eyes stung horribly afterwards which only happens on very rare occasions when I encounter a bad mascara that flakes off in tiny, tiny bits and they get stuck in my eyes and make them itchy. This eventually went away after twenty mins.It doesn't remove that well either. I used Heimish All Clean Balm which usually gets everything and made sure to wipe my face/eyes multiple times with a damp face cloth, but I still woke up with painful tiny black flakes and goop in my eyes this morning from residue that I swear wasn't visible the night before, even when I held my eye open to be sure. I'm quite fussy on having a completely clean face/eyes before going to bed and I'm certain I got it all of last night, but I'm guessing some of those flakes/goop got caught underneath my eyelid, above my eyeball.. Also WTF DO NOT LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS SAYING TO TRY IT IN STORE. That's how you get eye infections! Do not ever put communal store mascara on your own lashes, that brush has been used by dozens of other strangers who spread pink eye from their own trialling methods, and would have fallen on the dirty floor at some point. It's a mascara brush, not some pump foundation or nail polish. There's no reliable way to ensure it doesn't have infectious bacteria on it, unlike other makeup products that are safe to sample. The best you can do is swatch it on your hand to test the colour and and how well it stays on after drying.

Another lovely choice from the UD Vice Collection. On me, TMI is a beautiful, sheer, medium-depth, slightly muted cool true mauve without shimmer--not too pink, not too purple. The sheer formula is delightful. It's not quite balmy, but it's close. It feels wonderful on the lips and wears a little better than I'd expect from a sheer lipstick. I'm in a mauve phase this spring, and I find myself reaching for this a lot. It has that light vanilla-y UD scent that's very light, quite pleasant, and doesn't linger. My only minor gripe is the packaging. I was used to the old metal tubes and feel that the plastic ones are a little flimsy, space-wasting, and clumsy, but the mechanism works well and it stays securely closed in my purse. I absolutely would repurchase this little beauty.

I can't believe that, at 58 years of age, I'm falling in love with Urban Decay. I think the Vice lipstick line is exceptional in choice of formulas and shades, as well as quality. Rapture is one of my favorites, and I bought it by chance for $8 during the Sephora after-holiday sale. On me, it's a cool, medium-depth, slightly muted mauve-y rose (leaning slightly pink) without shimmer that's pretty much opaque in one pass, but doesn't look thick or heavy on the lips. It's feminine without being girly, and can be worn for casual or professional occasions--it dresses up or down easily. The formula is exceptional--it's lightly moisturizing, and my lips don't feel dry after removing it. It has that light vanilla-y UD scent that's very light and quite pleasant, and it doesn't linger. My only minor gripe is the packaging. I was used to the old metal tubes and feel that the plastic ones are a little flimsy and thick, but the mechanism works well and it stays securely closed in my purse. This is a winner for me, and I would repurchase.
