This little tube is a great investment. My dad actually got from his dermatologist to fade sunspots, but he hated using it and passed it to me. It is quite strong and a pea sized amount is sufficient for my entire face. Expect a peel a few days after you use it for the first few times. I use once a week. Always wear a good sunblock.

I love this. I think it's magic. But, it wasn't always that way. It took me about three tries, with a break of a few years in between, before my skin could handle it. I gave up and thought it was all hype, like many reviewers here. When my skin was more oily in my early 20s I think it broke me out (an aesthetician said it might have been the vitamin e since vitamin e is an oil) and I think there was also a period of acclimation to using Vit C - it is an acid, after all. If this is happening to you, start slowly. You might be surprised down the line. I don't get sunspots any more really, it has halted new wrinkles and sagging, it clears up acne marks and helps heal breakouts. It is probably the single most important item in my routine after sunblock and it takes care of many skin concerns for me. Please also make sure you buy from someone reputable - I did not always in the past and cannot be sure that wasn't part of the problem. (Also tended to smell much worse when I would buy off ebay or wherever - coincidence? I think not. It was probably expired.)

This product has changed my skin! Here is my full story. I had read reviews about how great this product was, but at first, I was apprehensive to buy! It was expensive compared to other vitamin C serums. It also had the worst smell. Nevertheless I decided to buy it. My first impression was not good, I hated the smell and it was tacky when first applied. I used it during the day. I noticed it oxidised and seemed to have given my skin an orange tint, "like I was in the sun too much". After just 2 weeks I wanted to stop using it, but I noticed improvements with the brightness of my skin. I decided to try it as part of my night skincare routine. I used it every other night, pairing it with non retinol or acid based products. This is when it started to work for me! This was about two years ago and I have been doing that ever since. Another important note; this serum does oxidise over time. Contrary to popular belief, it is still effective even once it oxidises. It lasts up to 12 months after opening. I have stored it in a dark place and limited the exposure to air, but I don't go crazy. This seems to limit the oxidation. People can be dramatic and claim it can't be used once it starts to oxidise, but thats simply not true. Pro'sThe number of changes to my skin are unbelievable. I have noticed a significant decrees in fine lines. My skin tone is more even and brighter. The blotchy spots I've had on my skin from sun exposure have faded and are not as noticeable. My skin looks firm and plump. These are just the corrective benefits, there are also a lot of preventive properties as well.Con'sThe price point is high for what it is. The smell and tackiness make it unpleasant to use in the daytime. I would like to state that I only review a product after I have finished the entire full size. If I was not able to finish the product due to irritation, I will say so in my review.

I have used this product for at least Ten Years.A dermatologist I know who had amazing Skin recommended it. My new Dermatologist also highly recommends this. When I do not use it, I can see the difference very quickly. I have absolutely no issues with either a smell or being sticky ~ my skin is exceptionally dry, but at 72 have basically no wrinkles. It has never bothered my sensitive skin in any way.I Highly recommend it .As a cosmetic and makeup gypsy it is one of a handful of products that I always repurchase.

I'm glad I managed to get a sample of this before splurging on it! I hated this, no effects whatsoever, and it was sticky!!!

This is such an amazingly versatile product. Unlike pretty much the rest of the Skinceuticals line, this is very soothing and gentle. This helps so much with redness and irritation, angry cystic acne as well, but not just on your face! Ladies I use this after bikini/brazilian waxes to calm my skin down! It works amazing. Also great for sun burns. Can be added into pretty much any skincare routine. I go through this product so quickly because of how much it can be used for. Unfortunately, it is a pretty penny for my budget, but would recommend to anyone, and would definitely purchase again.

This is absolutely a money wasting and overrated product. I used it religiously day and night but unfortunately no results whatsoever. It felt sticky on my face and the smell was unbearable. When I first tried it my face turned into orange color and I was like how am I supposed to use it at the daytime. I had a better luck with Skinmedica vitamin C+E complex. You can also try Dr.Oz naturals vitamin C which much better and cheaper than this. Ps: in case you decide to give it a try then bear in mind this should be stored in a dark place away from the light exposure and be used within two months.

I was underwhelmed by this. I was hoping it would lighten or erase old dark marks and scarring from past acne breakouts on my back. I already used Peter Thomas Roth Un-wrinkle peel pads (my favorite glycolic acid peel) and while it smooths the skin, it doesn’t do much for the stubborn dark marks. I applied the Pigment Corrector after letting the peel sit for five minutes (not rinsing off). The Pigment Corrector didn’t really do much until I alternated it every night with Neutrogena Rapid Tone Repair Night Moisturizer (a lightweight lotion with retinol and Vitamin C). Eventually, I started to see some improvement, but by then the tube of Skinceuticals Pigment Corrector was empty and I didn’t want to spend the money on it. I still use the Neutrogena every other night and I’m on the hunt for a better, non-irritating pigment corrector. On the upside, this did not bleach everything it touches like most dark mark correctors, nor did it irritate my skin. The packaging was odd; it looks like a tube that you’d squeeze, but it’s really an upside-down pump with a rigid plastic and there is no way to know when you get low or if there’s any product left inside. It feels wasteful. I won’t buy this again.

Thankfully, I got this as a sample, so I didn't waste money. Like others have noted in their reviews, my dry skin did NOT like this product at all. It caused awful flaking skin (like what happens after a sunburn) and a couple of pimples. I haven't had a pimple in years! After a week of use, the rest of the sample went into the trash.

I have persevered just short of a full bottle of this and I really wanted to like it but I think I will need to stop. I have always looked after my skin my mother encouraged my sisters and I to look after our skin, Having spent 30 odd years in Scotland before coming to Australia my skin was always commented on. This Vit C has dried up my skin it stings when I put my other skincare on and my skin has been flaky and my skin is so tight. I tried different ways to introduce this but it is just not working.and I know this is the cause of all my skin problems. I think because all of the great reviews I thought it might be something else but I will just have to grow old gracefully as this is not worth it. As someone else mentioned we are all different and I am happy that this product works for them just not good for me. I think it is a good idea to try with a sample first but maybe you need 2 samples to be really sure if this is for you good luck.

I've been using SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic for a while now. It's my favorite vitamin C serum to use. When I used to live in a city that was very humid, my skin didn't tolerate this serum very well. After applying it, I felt my skin was too sticky. At that particular time, my skin was extremely oily and prone to cystic acne. I stopped using it for a while. Now that I am older and live in a much drier climate, my skin just soaks up the serum. I once got a little sunburn (very minor -- no blistering or broken skin of any kind) on my shoulders. I applied SkinCeuticals to one side and not the other before going to bed. You know what? When I woke up, the side I applied the serum to went back to its normal color. It's one of those products that I know helps to heal and protect the skin (not to mention develop collagen!). The most common complaint I've heard over the years is due to the scent. The scent isn't the best but it's not as bad as some people say it is (well to me anyway). I'm actually happy the company doesn't add a bunch of fragrances to the product. Still, since some people think it smells like a hot dog, during the day I follow it up with Olay's Regenerist Micro-Sculpting cream because that has a very light and pleasant fragrance to it in addition to moisturizing my skin. If you find yourself not liking how the serum feels on your skin after applying it, try using it at night then wash off any residues in the morning. If you're on a budget, Cosmetic Skin Solutions has a similar product out at a fraction of the price. You'll still get the vast majority of the benefits even though it's cheaper. The reason why I stick with CE Ferulic is because of the patent on the pH of the serum. The pH is important because that is one of the factors that determines how optimal the vitamin C is.

I rarely bother to write reviews, but I've been using this amazing product for about a week and i'm baffled at how good this is. I currently don't have any breakouts and my skin has been clear for about 6 months, but I do have some casual breakouts and cheek scarring that can get dry. My skin is acne prone and usually reacts to anything that claims to be "moisturizing". Well guys... this serum actually manages to moisturize my dry cheeks without making my skin oily at all. It gives my skin a plump and healthy look which I was never able to achieve with the other hyped up products I bought on some trendy beauty websites. In the AM I use the Phloretin CF (also amazing) followed by the retexturing activator. in the PM I find it is enough to give my skin plenty of moisture. My next buy will be their Daily Moisturizer as the reviews are also amazing but to be honest I just feel like buying every single one of their products because they actually work. I love you Skinceuticals!

This product has truly been amazing for my skin. I have sensitive, acne prone skin which is vulnerable to being dry and dehydrated if I'm not carfeul. I had been using this for a year when I tried to venture off and find something cheaper. BIG MISTAKE! To cut a long story short, I put stuff on my face which my face completely reacted and hated me for. My skin succumbed to obstinate clogged pores, cystic acne and now the red acne pigmentation that has come after. My fault, really. (Sigh)I stopped using those products which had worked for others but not me and started up with this amazing elixir of beauty again (along with Skinceauticals Serum 10 aox+ and Retinol. 05). My face has done a 180. I've only had 2 very tiny whiteheads in the past month while the rest of my face has been quite calm and smooth. Not perfect skin (that doesn't exist, people) but I'm definitely happy with it!Yes, Skinceuticals will hurt your pocket book but at 33 yrs of age I've realised my skin is worth investing into and I'll continue to buy this and the other Skinceuticals products I have in rotation. Side note: To get the best out of these products go to a beauty salon which sells them. A professional will help you find the best products for your skin. This has been the best avenue for me.

Oh boy! It's horrible, to put it shortly. It's supposed to be a water-resistant sunscreen for eye area and doesn't migrate into eyes. It's also tinted and according to Skinceuticals unifies with natural skin tone. The feel is very similar to Mineral Matte UV Defence SPF 30, the first couple ingredients are same actually, it's rather thick, non-melting orange-ish cream. There is a bit of a drag on skin when applying it and it doesn't spread well with patting motion, so it's a pain to apply evenly. And it magnifies any skin imperfections, so any tiny line and even natural creases look like caked full with badly matched foundation, because the tint is beige-orange and it stays the same until removed (no magic unification or adaptation occurs). The sunscreen looks like a badly matched concealer accident, it's quite matte and almost powdery, and as said, the tint is way darker than my natural skin color and unnaturally orange, on top of the exaggeration of any tiny imperfection on the skin (lines, texture). I tried it on bare skin and over a couple moisturizers (LRP Toleriane Fluid, LRP Cicaplast) and it looks the same, so it's definitely a product fault and not something like dry skin (which would show up with any odd concealer I use, but only happen with this sunscreen). Absolutely unwearable in public without looking like an aging freak with orange eye circles.

This the EU version of Physical Fusion. Sort of. I picked it up foolishly thinking it was just a re-named Physical Fusion, but there are differences. Mineral Radiance doesn't have zinc oxide as UV filter, instead it has doubled the amount of titanium dioxide (according to Skinceuticals 11% titanium dioxide). I don't put much trust in titanium as the only UV filter, there are very few trademarked varieties of titanium that offer sufficient UVA protection and comply with critial wavelength requirements (at least 370 nm in EU) and they are all not photostable since they are all nano/micro scale (unlike opaque titanium, which is photostable). Other than boarderline insufficient protection the texture is same as Physical Fusion, it's thin and endlessly greasy. It never sets on skin, and if I applied an additional layer it looks even more nasty. The shade is also not universal as Skinceuticals claims, it's universal for people with medium NC25 skin tones, and that's about it, my skin is lighter and it doesn't match or adapt to it. Also, probably due to higher amount of titanium in the product Mineral Radiance has a gray undercast, but it's not the gray as in Korean BB creams, it just makes skin look ashy. So the look on face is shiny and ashy, definitely very far from radiant. In contrast to Physical Fusion, which, while also too dark for my skin, at least offers protection (but apparently not good enough for it to comply with EU regulations, since zinc oxide is back on list of approved filters in EU, but no US brands including SC seem to market any of their sun products here), Mineral Radiance is a flop (like all the other sunscreens Skinceuticals makes specifically for the highly restrictive EU market). It didn't dry out or irritate, or broke me out, so the base ingredients are ok, aside from being very far from elegant feel on skin. Can't say whether or not it protects from burns or pigment as I used it indoors only (and I wouldn't use Physical Fusion outdoors either) for quite a short period of time.
