This product is really great - it's one of those few rare products, where you genuinely can see and feel a difference after the first use. This for me was not at all irritating (although I wouldn't recommend applying this to broken or irritated skin, it'll make things worse!), didn't dry me out or cause any negative reactions. It made my skin a lot smoother to the touch and brighter (however it did not prevent or help with my blackheads/whiteheads). It also helped to fade my discolourations faster. I would highly recommend this product, however because this is an American brand/political reasons I don't see myself repurchasing anymore.

My skin is too sensitive for this serum. It left me to feel like my skin was burning.

This broke me out, but
it did feel comfortable on. I had no issue with a white cast, but I do have fair skin. I will not repurchase.

This is just standard 2% BHA, but in a spray bottle. It's not really cheaper than the facial BHA exfoliants that PC has either. But hey, 2% BHA is going to work for acne if you're patient. I've struggled with bad bacne, sometimes some intense painful bumps. By applying this on my back twice a day, my bacne has greatly diminished. I sometimes get a little bit stil l but it's down at least 80%.The marks and scars though will require something else.

This is a nice serum, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it made to my skin. In fairness, it's meant to be for wrinkles, and I don't have many wrinkles yet. But I was hoping it would help with other skin concerns (namely evening out my skin tone and fading scars), and it didn't really. It did make my skin feel firmer/plumper and better hydrated, however. And that's not nothing. It's a very silicone-y serum, which means it spreads easily but also feels a bit greasy. I used up my bottle and may give this product another chance down the line. This cost $42 USD for 1.0 fl oz, which is a little steep but still competitive within the space. And you can frequently get it cheaper thanks to Paula's Choice's excellent sales.

So this has great ingredients and no nasties like fragrance, alcohol etc, and I’ve re purchased about three times as it is quite affordable but I don’t feel like I see a noticeable difference in my skin like my pores don’t look smoother. Skin doesn’t look better then before, maybe the ingredients will make a difference if used in the long term, I really don’t know, but I am still on the hunt for a good toner that brightens my skin.It does slightly hydrate my skin and doesn’t cause any irritation, thank god.

For the reference hyaluronic Acid product never work for me. This one is not an exception. It made my skin extra dry, extra tight. It felt like I have a tightening mask on. I couldn't wear it for enough time to see a redness reduction, even with a moisturizer over it continue to tighten my skin.

This stuff is no joke! It is the best product I have ever found to control oil. It can be a bit finnicky, meaning it goes on thick and can get bally and patchy with some makeup, or feel too drying. But if you can find a technique that works for you, then this stuff is amazing. I have found you can make many moisturisers, sunscreens and primers matte by mixing this in.Personally, I mix this with my sunscreen to create a kind of primer with SPF. I need to control oil because I wear makeup and have full workdays where I can't really touch up much, plus in the summer I cycle 40 minutes to work. Shine Stopper extends my makeup wear to 3-4 hours before needing a blot, and even then, we're just getting into glowy territory. Without Shine Stopper, I have maybe 2 hours before I've got an oil slick going on.This has made such a big difference for me, that I think everyone with oily skin should give this a try.

It's gonna make you dependent on itself, I mean, after use it so many times. You should spend detox time for your skin.

I love most of the Paula's Choice products I've tried, but this did nothing to fade either my melasma or my acne scars. I therefore won't repurchase. Should you be interested in trying it, I can tell you it does have a nice gel-cream texture that layers well with other skin care--no tackiness or pilling. It stung me slightly, but nothing too horrendous. The packaging is a slim tube that should last you quite a while since you need to use only a little at a time.

This is powerful stuff and should be used cautiously. When I first tried it I purged a lot of acne. But I kept going because I knew it's special. Now, it burns my face for a few seconds but ultimately leads to renewing exfoliation. Skin appears more younger, smoother. I like combining it with the 2% BHA for a nice at home mini facial. I do not use this every night, and I do not combine with retinol. Tried to combine with retinol and got irritated. Perhaps PC is wrong about combining AHA and retinol - my skin is resilient and didn't like it.Ultimately I love how this is a strong AHA that you can actually leave on, not wash off after 20 min.

I'm a bit conflicted about PC's C15 booster. I was using PTR's Potent C serum which was amazing but over $100. Now PC's is similar ingredients but only about $40 (with her usual discount). So of course, I'd give this a shot.Well, it does brighten the skin with a glow. But I just can't get over the runny consistency and the dropper. It gets all over the place and feels sticky and gross. The glow is also a bit uneven. I guess you get what you pay for.I might try the C25 next, since I can handle a higher percentage.

Not a totally necessary product, but a nice addition to my mornings. I shave every morning (I can grow a beard in few days) so my skin gets irritated, red, and is just dry in general. The winters make it worse. I don't want to use a super heavy moisturizer in the AM because I don't want to look overtly greasy. Plus SPF moisturizers don't really do that good a job anyway. So this serum comes into play by soothing my skin and adding some moisture and protection. It also smells lovely like Flaxseed oil. I'm not sure if there are anti-aging benefits but it does make the skin feel good.

I got the Resist Advanced Pore-Refining Treatment 4% BHA as part of a set with the 2% BHA from the Resist Collection (the "BHA Exfoliant Duo"). It's a silicone-y fluid that comes in an ingenious dropper bottle that keeps the product safe from light and air. I enjoyed using it, and I thought it might be amplifying the results I was getting from the 2% BHA. However, now that I'm using one of Paula's other 2% BHAs (the classic Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid) on its own and continuing to see great results, I don't feel like I need this. Still, it's a great product and one I may well revisit in the future.

I was an earlyish adopter of Paula's Choice exfoliants, but then, for reasons that are unclear even to me, I fell off the wagon and stayed off for nearly a decade. Well, now I'm back on, and it started here, with the Resist Daily Pore-Refining Treatment 2% BHA, which I got in a combo back (the BHA Exfoliant Duo) with the Resist Advanced Pore-Refining Treatment 4% BHA. This stuff is wonderful. It works similarly to my old favorite, the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid, but I think it has a better texture. Where the Skin Perfecting can feel a wee bit greasy, the Daily Pore-Refining goes on like water. The only downside is that you're paying more money for less product ($33 for 3 fl oz vs. $29 for 4 fl oz). (For this reason, I ordered the Skin Perfecting after finishing my bottle of the Daily Pore-Refining.) Anyway, I saw an almost immediate positive change in my skin's overall texture once I started using the Daily Pore-Refining, as well as a decline in hormonal acne breakouts. If you struggle with acne and haven't tried any Paula's Choice liquid exfoliants yet, you're missing out!
