I speak from experience over the years. If you want your hair to turn out the EXACT color of the hair on picture of the box, you'll need to bleach it first. If your hair is darker than the color of the picture on the box, don't expect a change as color can not lift color. This has a very low developer and is almost a demi formula despite being marketed as permanent. It's mainly color depositing due to the low volume and low amount of lift (if any whatsoever). Now that I've gotten that out of the way - it's not required to bleach your hair first. Your hair just has to be slightly lighter than the depicted shade in order to get results. So that makes it simple to pick a shade if any of you are struggling. None of this is a con in my opinion. The trade off is this formula is awesome. Colorsilk doesn't damage my hair - even without Olaplex. And I use Olaplex for nearly everything. With the exception of coppery shades, Revlon was smart enough to formulate the warm shades to have a tiny amount of violet (ash) in the mix so they won't turn out brassy. My favorite is Warm Golden Blonde. If it was literally an orangey shade of blonde I would never touch it again. Most drugstore hair dyes mess that up. A lot of the blonde shades look bizarre (i.e orangey pink) UNTIL it starts to develop so don't let that scare you. Champagne Blonde turned almost dark purple once oxidized despite starting off a yellowy rosegold hue. I like to use these to tone my hair since the damage is so minimal and the cost is dirt cheap. I do wish Revlon would include a larger size of conditioner with the set because it's pretty effective. The included conditioner is about 1/4th of an oz and not even enough to cover my roots. I have waist length hair. But at less than $3 a box, I can't complain much. This is the only box dye I'll ever use. For every other need I go straight to professional salon brands for individual shades. So that's saying a lot that I would continue to use Colorsilk.

From all the makeup products I have ranging from high street to designer, this is my holy grail. It fits perfectly to my skin tone with a sheer consistency that I love. Not to mention, I have a monolid and this works like magic! I've read several reviews saying it creases, well, monolid girls & guys this is our product. This product doesn't move on my eyes and it stays on when I come home at night. I do have to say though I have to apply the colors precisely or it will transfer easily. Nevertheless, it blends perfectly to my skin. This is a versatile product that you can use as contour and highlighter too. I've also tried using this as an under-eye concealer and it works. One complaint: can Revlon produce more color range for this product?

I didn’t like this product for a couple of reasons. First they cloyingly sweet sugary bubblegum fragrance. For me the fragrance was a bit hard to get past and made me think this was more suited for a young girl. Second, this isn’t really matte. It’s just a regular cream finish lipstick. I have a few matte liquid lipsticks and this is by far the worst. This also doesn’t set, ever. Be prepared for this to transfer onto anything that touches your lips. Would not buy again, product fail and a waste of money.

I bought two of these. A straight-up matte and a metallic matte. The colors are very nice, but one was too warmish pink for me. It looked a bit cooler in the tube than it did on my lips. The metallic matte lipstick was a mauvish pink, which was much better for my skin color. I really like this shade, and it works well for my cool/neutral coloring. These never really set on my lips. They also have a very fruity flavor and smell, which I find okay, but if you are sensitive to fragrance, it may be a no-go. I find that they are not as drying as many matte lipsticks I've tried and they don't crumble and fall off like those ones did, but I do find that it doesn't last very long. Especially after I eat. When I drink a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, lipstick is left all over the cups and glasses. This is after I've given the product plenty of time to dry. I like the packaging and the wand that comes with them. Easy to use and attractive. All in all, these aren't too bad for a DS product. I think it's a bit misleading to call them matte, as they are not a true matte, but the formula is tolerable and the color selection is quite nice. YMMV.

I have this in Berry and I really like it as an SPF lip balm. The colour is a sheer plum, the flavour is mildly sweet but not perfumey, and it keeps my lips from getting burned if I reapply. I will repurchase. I'm hoping it doesn't get discontinued because it's the only tinted lip product with SPF I'm able to get in Canada.

Horrible! It's a dry, cakey, & mask looking foundation. My skin looked old, tight, & just nasty. Plus it broke my face out. Worst drugstore foundation on earth.

I never purchase this product again. It make my skin feel heavy and cakey, even though I moisturized. I hate it.

I have pretty good skin so usually can make most foundations work. I bought CS in 150 Buff only because I recently discovered I have olive undertones (game changing revelation! :D), and pale olive foundation shades are hard to come by. Plus, I’m a foundation junkie. So, the shade matched me decently (it’s not yellow enough for me, I can make it work though), but the formula, oh my! It sits on my skin in such an ugly way, settled into fine lines I didn’t even know I had. It looked like I’ve put on some cheap face paint. As for long lasting claims... well, it doesn’t last as long as ELDW (but nothing lasts as long as ELDW, right?). The wear time is decent, though I didn’t really care to notice- I was distracted by how unnatural and mask-like my skin looks once I put this foundation on. I’ve tried it with different primers/ moisturizers/ powders. Each time it emphasized every tiny imperfection, looked cakey- plain ugly. Also, I have a sneaking suspicion it makes me break out. I’ve noticed the increase of closed comedones, and it’s the only base product I incorporated into my routine recently.I won’t repurchase and will use it only for swatching purposes.

Revlon nail polish is a VERY CHEAP, LOW QUALITY formula. I made the terrible mistake of buying the nail polish with a coupon and selected the color "Romantique" a very pretty warm pink and a neutral pink shade. The polish chips terribly and was not worth the money I paid for it. The brush is very thin and takes many applications to cover for one coat. So disappointed. I will never use it for a manicure again and only use it up for a pedicure to get rid of it. I am soured on this brand of polish forever.Don't bother purchasing it. It is just not worth it.

I only had to try this a few times to decide I am definitely not a fan. I dislike so many things about this product and it started with dispensation. First of all, it is hard to control the amount that comes out because it is too easy to get too much so there is a learning curve with that. Second, when you think you have the correct amount it foams up and expands so you still have too much product which is very wasteful. I tried applying this with a beauty blender type sponge and patting into the skin with my fingertips. I preferred the sponge method. This did build up well and gives me full coverage. Third, it does NOT look airbrushed. It is full of shimmer and it looks slightly orangey in color plus it feels thick and heavy and feels weighty on the skin if you try to build up even coverage. Fourth, it gets patchy by the end of the day and that was inside the air conditioning and not out in the heat and humidity of summer. I used this over a primer and used both a setting powder and setting spray to hold it in place all day. That still didn't work and I had patches of missing makeup on my chin, my nose, and forehead. Fifth, the makeup did stay inside my pores and creases making them quite visible at the end of the day, thank you very much. That is unacceptable. I have only used this a few times but I don't feel like it needs more to make up my mind that it is not the right product for me.

These babies are the best you'll find in the drugstore, and they're better than a LOT of higher end lipsticks too. Not quite on the level of MAC or Bite -- but for this price, they don't need to be. My experience is that most of the shades in this line are more flattering for neutral to cool undertones, but when I find one that works for my light yellow/olive skin, I never stop buying it. Toast of New York, Coralberry, Ginger Rose (sadly discontinued) and Really Red (ditto) are some of my favorites that I've bought, used up and rebought over and over again. These are extremely practical lipsticks -- no fragrance, clear tops so you can tell them apart at a glance, and labeled matte, cream or frost on the packaging. A++And the history! That 50's glamor vibe! Just try to put on Fire and Ice without picturing the Dorian Leigh ad campaign -- it can't be done! Emotionally, these lipsticks always make me feel elegant and ladylike.Cons: The tops tend to come off in bags, and some of the creams aren't very long lasting.

I have been rather picky around the foundations I buy & love in the past. Typically I don’t buy or love drug store brands. However I have been on a budget. Therefore when I was asked by a lady at Target if I wanted to try this new Revlon make up, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it!
I settled on the Sand Beige shade which go’s on just matte enough for my liking. It is still a tad dewey, which I find a perfect combination.
I bought two bottles even, one for purse & another for my morning routine. The sponge tip is awesome, as I have been drawn to compact makeups as of recent, which I found quicker to apply than liquids.
After using self tanner on my face I purchased the natural tan. I returned it, as it was definitely not my color.
All & all a great foundation & easy to apply.
