Gels/Soaps -NIVEA -Foaming Silk Mousse Body Wash - Vanilla Caramel

I bought this because I like the idea of a mousse body wash. The smell is okay, nothing super special. It is very silky and satiny feeling while bathing, however I don't notice any special benefits to my skin. Also, I don't feel "clean" if I just use this, I always have to bathe with this plus traditional dove soap. I won't buy this again for the reasons aforementioned.

Lotions/ Creams -NIVEA -Skin Firming Hydration Lotion

Simply amazing! Does what it should! and for a fraction of the cost of most of these expensive body butters! Buttery soft skin, light clean fragrance, and it absorbs into the skin unlike any lotion I have ever used. After about 5 minutes... I am left with incredibly silky soft skin and zero greasy residue. highly recommend it!

I’ve seen many mixed reviews on here about this product, and i know that everyone’s skin is different and reacts differently to products.

Let me start by saying my skin is VERY sensitive, to everything! I was really hesitant to use this lotion on my face as it is very thick and has quite a heavy scent, however it could be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I’ve been using this on my face for about 2 months now, and I haven’t gotten a single breakout yet! On top of that, my skin is GLOWING in the morning when I wake up. However, it is quite oily and greasy feeling when you first apply it, but it’s all worth it for when you wake up with baby soft skin!

If you’re finding that the original formula is too thick, Nivea also has a “Nivea Soft” formula which is MUCH more of a lotion consistency and is much lighter on the skin.

Lotions/ Creams -NIVEA -Soft Moisturizing Creme

I bought this one because I read in a forum that it's a dupe for the legendary Creme de La Mer!
A 200mil is sold 4$ here.I don't like it's packaging as I don't like jar packaging and it's made off cheap hard plastic.I don't like it's scent but don't dislike it either.I LOVE it's creamy texture.it's not really soft though and feels a bit heavy for me right now but I'm sure it would be perfect during fall and winter so I think it's better for people with normal to dry skin.
Today was the first day I used it and my skin felt soft and nourished the whole day.I also used it on my hands and it didn't make my hands feel sticky and greasy
The only CON is It's ingredients.I was shocked to see several kinds of alcohol, paraben and mineral oils.I wish it wouldn't cause break outs

Edit:

Right what I was afraid of happened to me!
The day after using Nivea Soft,my face, specially my forehead and outer sides of my cheeks are full of tiny whiteheads.it's been months that I didn't have any breakouts.I can't blame anything else as it's the only new thing I used
I'm going to give it another chance after a month or two though because I love it's texture and it's long lasting nourishment

I did not like this product. Putting it on was so uncomfortable. It's so thick that it pulls my skin when I try to rub it in and it's a little painful. It works, but it's not worth that uncomfortable feeling. After I use it, my skin isn't dry, but it doesn't feel moisturized either. This stuff doesn't leave any oily residue and the smell is okay. It's like a mix between a medical creme and a generic perfume scent. I wouldn't buy this again.

This is my HG lip balm. I use the German original. I heard lanolin was great for dry lips so I got this which contains lanolin alcohol (not alcohol, mainly cholesterol) and Lansinoh lanolin to compare. I considered Aquaphor but it's more expensive where I live so I got Nivea instead.

Application
-Both are easy to apply on lips. They are thick but just a quick rub will get them to melt.
-During warmer temperatures, both become less stiff and easier to rub it in.
-Nivea gives a slight white cast that fades after a few minutes.
-I like to optimize my products. I add ubiquinone into Nivea and stir it with a clean stick. A tiny sprinkle goes a long way - creme instantly turns pale yellow.

Results
-Nivea: Lips stay moist and flake free for a few hours, say 4 hours. After 4 hours, Lips are less moist and less flaky than the beginning even when you feel the creme gone.
-Lansinoh: Lips feel more moist than Nivea. Lips also have a lit from within glow. After a few hours, lips have an interesting texture. The surface feels a little tight but lips are still plump not flaky and when you rub your lips together, lips feel like sandpaper?
-Lansinoh first then Nivea. Bad idea. It feels like Nivea doesn't sink in. Lips also feel dry faster.
-Nivea first then Lansinoh: fantastic! Lips feel creamy and this effect lasts longer.
-Face: Only tried this a few times. No special effect. I have a multi step routine so my face already feels moisturized and humidity is high where I live so there's no need for an additional occlusive.
-Also useful for dry patches on body such as elbows.
***SPECIAL EFFECT***
My lips got larger!

Anyway, it's super satisfying to find a cheap but effective product. Also, if you can, get the Japan version because it contains jojoba and squalane. Or you can just diy and add your favorite oils.

Lotions/ Creams -NIVEA -Q10 Night Cream

I'm 45, with sensitive combination skin and rosacea (which is under control, I say with trepidation...). I bought this cream on a whim about 4 months ago when the weather started to get cooler and I realized I needed something more hydrating overnight. I was pleasantly surprised! No breakouts, just smooth, happy moisturized skin. Now, it's not eliminating my fine lines (fillers will, creams won't, you guys), nor is it doing squat for my redness issues, however it IS plumping my skin up which gives the illusion of shallower lines. I also use it on my neck, chest plus the backs of my hands too. During the miserable, cold dry monster that was winter this year, I started to use this in the morning under my make up too. I needed the extra hydration during the day. Likely my age has something to do with it, yay. But winter was nasty this year.

Comparisons: I've tried Olay regenerist - which made my skin as soft as anything and honestly I feel that it hydrated even better, but it broke me out badly. I'm too sensitive for it I guess. I also used to use CeraVe in the big tub, which is lovely - and gentle, however, I find that Nivea Q10plus is better for me. Plus, that CeraVe in the tub is not good under makeup, whereas, the Q10 can go under make up if needed.

(I know there is a daytime version with SPF. I haven't gone there yet. Still using my Neutrogena oil free moisturizer with SPF and need it to run out first... But am seriously considering switching to a mineral sunscreen and using CeraVe PM during the day, as I've read that is really good. Still researching... )

Lip Treatments -NIVEA -A Kiss of Smoothness Hydrating Lip Care SPF 15

This is an excellent affordable lip balm with SPF. It's not the most moisturizing lip balm in the world, but it's a great balm for when your lips are in good shape and just need some sun protection. True to its name, it does feel smoothing. I like that it has only a very mild scent/taste. I have repurchased and will no doubt do so again, especially at $3 a tube.

This is my my absolute Go-To night cream! It's quite rich, but normal to dry dehydration prone skin loves it. I like that it is silicone and fragrance free. It can be quite shiny, so I wouldn't wear it during the day. I would recommend this for anyone looking for very basic but rich night cream.

For my money, this is one of the best drugstore body washes and hands down the best-smelling drugstore body wash. It smells heavenly, just like Nivea Creme. The body wash itself is very nice--moisturizing without being oily, great for soothing dry winter skin. A large (16.9 oz) bottle costs about $8 at my local CVS (high COL area), but it may be cheaper in your neck of the woods. (Speaking of the bottle, I love it. It's an attractive dark blue and has a teardrop shape.) I will never stop buying this.

Lip Treatments -NIVEA -A Kiss Of Color and Care Sheer Coral

on 3/12/2019 12:30:00 PM

Wow, surprised by the below negative reviews. I love Nivea's tinted lip balms, and this one is no exception. It has a white core (Nivea's classic lip balm formula) surrounded by dark coral tint. The coral been my go-to for early spring because it's more hydrating than lipstick (necessary in the wintry wind) and gives me a perfect sheer ripe peach tint -- super flattering on me. I find it has decent staying power; I applied it this morning at 9:30 a.m. and after 3 hours it's still glossy and smooth, hasn't migrated anywhere, looks great. I haven't eaten anything during that time, though.

$4.99 for a plastic tube containing 4.8 grams of product at CVS.

Definitely more moisturizing than a body lotion, not quite as much as an oil. Absorbs fairly quick and has a pleasant, light vanilla sugar/hint of sunscreen scent.

Sunscreen -NIVEA -Zero Feeling UV Lotion SPF 50 ++++

I bought this more for my body because my skin is super oily and adding sunscreen on top makes it feel sticky, like it can catch bugs and dust, it’s a really gross feeling. This disappears into the skin as soon as it is applied with minimum blending and zero cast. It’s mind blowing. I hesitated using it on my face because the scent of alcohol is so strong, but when I ran out of sunscreen in Singapore, I started using it on the face as well. Surprisingly,it didn’t irritate my eyes as much as I thought it would. My eyes smart and water at the slightest provocation, but this was all right. Highly recommend, especially for darker complexions.

This is NOT suitable for sensitive skin! This made my face very red, very irritated and caused breakouts. It has a very thick consistency, which even after applying the smallest amount, made it feel like my skin couldn't breathe. It was honestly like applying a layer of grease to my face every evening. I managed a week of using this before I gave up and thew it in the trash.
