This felt great on, result was matte, not oily throughout the day, but it caused small bumps and eventually led to cystic Acne. My skin is acne prone, normal but oily when dehydrated or stressed.

As much as I want this to work, it didn’t. I have oliy combination, acne prone skin and this sunscreen was so heavy and greasy on me. So I put on some Tarte Smooth operator powder to fix it (been using this for 2 years, never had a problem). During the day I felt a bit itchy on my cheeks every time I sweat and yes, my face was shiny. Next morning there were 2 more zits on my cheek though I did double cleansing last night (What? nooo). I wanted it to work so bad cause I spent like 60 dollars on this sunscreen so I waited 2 weeks and gave it another try, however, the result was the same. Still have nearly the full bottle in my drawer :(Anyway, the peach tint seems to leave no white cast, which is a good thing, and I like the package, it helps you controll the amount quite well. Also it’s easy to blend. Plus, one of my colleague tried this sunscreen and she love it. Maybe I’m just too sensitive to products that contain silicone. And my search for the right sunscreen continues...

This is amazing at keeping me matte. I have very oily t zones and this is the only "moisturizer" that works. If u can look pass the smell then this would be perfect. I use this as a day time moisturizer and i love itEdit- ive been using this for a couple years with no problem but ive become more sensitive to spf after my pregnancy so ive been getting little bumps here and there from this. Sigh its such a god send for oily skin. But now i cant use it......

I had acne scars and some sun damage and (despite the unpleasant smell and extreme tingle upon application) this stuff worked remarkably well to reduce pigmentation! An extra perk was it worked to control my acne because it has glycolic acid. My skin looked awesome with makeup and I didn’t have to cake it on the way I did before. For reference, I have combo skin leaning more towards oily. The reason this lost a star was because it has a controversial ingredient known as hydroquinone so they don’t recommend long term use. In fact, anything over 1% is banned by the EU. If it wasn’t for that, I would have kept using this after the first bottle. Once I stopped the sun damage pigmentation came back after a few months, which was disappointing (but the discoloration from post acne is gone for good - woo!). My skin also went back to its normal self so I started to break out again. I really do love this product because I saw awesome results! I just wish I wasn’t torn about using it year round. I get married in September so I’m really considering picking up another bottle if my new skincare routine doesn’t start working.

Its anti wrinkle ingredients are superb and really effective. You'll see how fresh and youthful your skin looks and glows after a week or so. BUTI'm not so sure about its anti acne functionality! It left me with tiny oil bumps on my skin and worsened the breakouts! Not recommended for acne-prone!

Holy cow, this is an amazing product. I will preface this by understanding lots of reviewers talk about this product “pilling off” when applying make up and I do NOT experience this because I really don’t wear a lot of make up. Maybe a little concealer and a little blush? When I apply this product over my daily vitamin C serum and moisturizer, it glides on easily without tugging. It does have a silicone feel but my skin absorbs the product within minutes. After it is absurd come on my skin is left looking absolutely perfect. Semi-matte, smooth and even toned. Just soft and beautiful. The product feels comfortable on, almost weightless. It has a pleasant smell unlike a lot of other sunscreens I have used. Actually, it’s shocking this is is even sunscreen because it feels so good. I cannot currently and will not be able to attest to the long-term effects of the sunscreen, however. I was given a small sample only good enough for a few uses, and would not buy this product simply because of the crazy high price. Not willing to spend 60.00 a month on sunscreen! Amazing nonetheless.

I purchased this at a discount using FabFitFun subscription box add-on pricing. WOW. I am blown away. This cleanser does a really good job of exfoliating without making my skin look suburned after using it. It has really helped with my acne and flakiness from using retinol. I don't recommend it for everyday use, because I am sure it can be rather harsh if used daily, but I like to alternate this in the mornings and find it does a really good job of washing my skin off and cleansing before I start putting my "face" on for the day. The product amount is generous and the bottle fits in my shower caddy well. Love this cleanser.

I had tried this body wash many years ago in some delluxe sample sizes from Sephora I think 💭 I just used it as a regular body wash for my back & arms where I get some kp & occasional spots or clooged pores ! But I don't find this very exceptional, it was ok so so ! It did have some slight grittyness to it to help you exfoliate your body it was average but I wouldn't spend my money on this stuff Bc it's expensive & also I found that it had a large amount of fragrance in it which is always troublesome for me 😖!

I wanted to give this a try, but it was a total fail. This never feels like it dries down to me. It stays very silicone, slippery feeling and balls up if I try to rub it in well. It also has a distinct scent to it. Part of why I was interested in this was to find a scent free product, but it failed on that at well. I got it for 50% off from a Sephora weekly deal, but will be returning. It's definitely not worth keeping. If you're looking for a primer, this may be worth trying. But I can't say I reccomend it for anyone. I hated how it felt, hated how it smelled, and generally found it lacking. Overall, one of the biggest fails I've ever tried as far as cosmetic products go.

I'm a former Obagi Clear Rx customer and this lightening serum is one I would highly recommend because the results are remarkably similar. Four weeks ago I added this to my nightly regimen and it has done more to even out my skin tone than Obagi Clear, and it also brightens my skin because it's a glycolic acid treatment. As a result, my skin tone is *clearly* more even and has improved radiance. I seriously look like I had a chemical peel for how much more even my skin tone became. Of course, use a strong sunscreen daily to protect hyperpigmentation because treated skin needs sunscreen to help keep lightened areas stay lightened. Important tip: The directions say to apply a moisturizer afterward. DO NOT DO THIS because it will raise the serum's pH (weakening the glycolic acid) and dilute the hydroquinone. To get the most out of this serum, put nothing on top of it for at least an hour. After an hour, the serum has done all it's going to do and you can continue your normal night-time regimen of serums, creams, oils, whatever. I rinse the Murad off because I prefer Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair as my serum and want nothing underneath to prevent penetration.

Thankfully I did not purchase this. I received a sample as part of my 500 reward at Sephora. First things first. This moisturizer is $70 (!!!). Although I didn't pay for it, when something is that expensive I expect to be knocked off my feet. I At first application I didn't really notice anything. It applied nicely, was non greasy and was relatively quick absorbing. The issue I had was the smell. It was very unpleasant to me. Kind of musty and plastic smelling. Sounds gross right? All the Murad products I have used have never had pleasant smells, so I guess this wasn't a surprise. I just don't think I could justify being able to smell this on my face every night unless it did something amazing to my skin. The next morning when I woke up, I didn't notice any changes in my skin. My skin wasn't brighter or more even toned. Which isn't surprising considering that you must usually use a product for a while to achieve such results. I continued to use the moisturizer the next night, and it was a couple days later that I began to notice a couple huge pimples beginning to form. I was not happy. Especially considering my skin had been clearing up. And these pimples weren't just your little blackheads or whiteheads. They were huge, bright red, nasty looking and feeling bumps under my skin. Needless to say, I stopped using the moisturizer.Fast forward to a couple weeks later. I decided to give this moisturizer one last try. I applied it the first night and noticed nothing the next morning. The following night I applied it again and woke up to 3 new large pimples beginning to form under my skin. One on my forehead and 2 around my mouth. Now I am convinced that it's the moisturizer's fault. I threw it in the garbage, thankful that I did not buy the full size bottle.

why is this product in a bottle with a dropper applicator ? For the active ingredients, vitamins A, B5, C D & E to stay well, active, this serum should be in air-proof pump bottle. I found the oil to be a light formula and to not provide all day hydration. If you are prone to acne, skip this. I noticed no beneficial skin improvement while using this product.

I expected a really great product based on the Sephora reviews but what I got was a greasy, very average, heavy feeling physical sunscreen. I already have a few of those so won't be keeping this one but will be returning this to Sephora. The peach tint does keep this from giving a white cast but the texture is still too heavy and by the end of the day I can literally run a fingernail down my cheeks and scrape this off. Yuck. I have dry tight skin right now so I'm not sure whose skin this would be best for but I don't like it for mine. Also having some rosacea eruptions that could be product related. Just not wowed by this.

LOVE LOVE LOVVEEE this product! I got a sample in my Ipsy bag and have been using it every night following a moisturizer. In just 3 days time a few close friends/boyfriend (I know shocker right?) noticed my skin looking different much more vibrant and he even said smoother. Def going to be purchasing a full size bottle 😍😍

I read all of the reviews on Sephora about this new entry into the sunscreen arena, & the vast majority are 5-star raves, so even tho I'm not in the market for a new sunscreen, I decided to buy it so I could experience its cutting edge fabulousness first hand. (I'm not in the market cuz I love SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50 - tinted, but I figured there's no harm in having 2 terrific sunscreens. FWIW, the actives in SCPF UV D are: Titanium Dioxide 6% and Zinc Oxide 5%)The actives in Murad City Skin are: Titanium Dioxide 2.7% and Zinc Oxide 10%Let's put it this way, my experience with Murad City Skin is completely different from that of virtually ALL of the Sephora reviewers. This strikes me as very odd indeed, as my skin is normal & not problematic. I prefer physical ss because chemical formulas make my skin feel hot as the day goes on, regardless of the temperature outside, but I've never had any sort of skin reaction to chemical formulas. I used chemical formulas for many years before switching to physical. My skin is normal, slightly dry, "mature."The Murad box states that this is an "ultra-light" formula. No. Even after shaking (a lot!), this goes on heavily. It's a very thick-feeling formula as you're spreading it on your face. Many reviewers go on & on about the matte finish. LOL. The highly-reflective shine this leaves on my face is the definition of "grease ball." And if a heavy-feeling, greasy-looking ss isn't bad enough, I experience a very obvious pink flush across my cheeks after applying it. The pinkness subsides a bit, but not entirely, after about 40 minutes. This happened every time I used it. For what it's worth, the first time I tried it, I thought the pink reaction might have been because I'd used Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads the night before. (Note: I've never had any such reaction from *any* product after using PTR pads the night prior, & I've been using the pads for 10 years, but I just couldn't imagine why my skin would be reacting to the ss, so I just thought that might have been the cause.)Based on this flushed reaction, I decided to not use any peels or "reactives" of any sort for the duration of my Murad testing, just to be sure. I waited a few days before trying the Murad again, & on my 2nd try, everything was the same: heavy application, unbearably greasy shine, flushed cheeks. So that's how this worked for me on all 6 days that I tested it. (I always allowed a few days off, between tests.) I could feel the cloying heaviness of the formula the whole time it was on my face, & there was no way to get rid of the wet-looking & feeling shine. It never "sunk in" & went away. If I would have tried to apply powder, the brush would've stuck to my face on first impact. And the pink cheeks remained. Having said all this, I never broke out from this formula. Like I said, I have very normal, unperturbable skin. I never break out ... even when my face is covered with this heavy, greasy, pink-inducing concoction for 6+ hours a day. But after 6 hours, I just had to wash it off: it felt so terrible. This is the length I am willing to go to in order to educate/help my friends on the Board :D On my final test day, I decided to apply 'It Cosmetics CC+ SPF 50+' on top of the Murad to see if it might help the look. Due to the always-sticky, wet feel of the Murad on my face, the only way to apply something on top of it is to gently pat it on, so that's what I did. This managed to cancel the pink from my cheeks. It had NO impact on the high-gloss finish of the Murad, which speaks volumes, because the CC+ is very mattifying on my skin when I use it by itself. So, net-net, adding the CC+ cancels the pink, but I'm still left with a heavy-feeling, greasy-looking, terribly uncomfortable face. This is probably the least cosmetically elegant sunscreen I have ever used. Makes me wonder, a lot, about Sephora's claim that as of 3/3/18 there are 4255 Sephora customers who "love" this product. Hmmmmmm.
