Oh my lord! I made an account just to review this product because it was THAT bad. I have pretty good skin, very white with locks of freckles, a bit of redness around my cheeks, but generally pretty good. I never had acne as a teen, but when I hit about 21, I started having more breakouts- very simple red spots, always on my chin, ocassionally near my lips or nose. I generally just use drug store spot treatments when I see one coming, which clears them up in a few days, but it got so annoying to have to apply this every night, in four or five spots over my face, plus the drying and peeling that would ocassionally come. I decided to take my skincare more seriously (my regime has always been little to no-makeup, cold water to clean, and never touching my face). I went into Sephora (intimidating) and asked for help, the lady suggested this product as being very popular. It was spensy ($$$), but I was excited to start using it. I've been using a nickle size amount twice a day for four weeks. ANDI started breaking out EVERYWHERE! I got zits all over my chin, three deep ones on my cheeks, a few on my upper lip, and tonnes on my forehead. I freaked out at first but thought it could be skin 'purging', or that these were underlying pimples and this product just brought them out. But the more I used it, the worse my skin got- I even began to develop acne on my shoulders, like a rash, and on my back! Eventually I decided to check the reviews online (don't know why I didn't do this before), and while on the Sephora and Murad site, they're great, on Acne.org and others, people HATE it. I found loads of people with the same problem- I thought I might be having a reaction. I stopped using this three days ago and started using Dr. Jart's ceramides serum, and my skin has (nearly) completely cleared up (or at least, no new zits have formed). The skin on my arms and back has returned to normal, but I still have those deep red zits on my cheek, and a few on my head. GODDAMN I would not recommend this- it WRECKED my skin!

This is a white runny moisturizer with SPF. Has a light scent which I'm not find if but doesn't really linger. It spreads very easily and doesn't feel tacky but leaves a shiny - not oily - film behind. Kinda feels like a primer and allows foundation to glide easily but isn't pretty on its own. I still needs to be used over a hydrating serum. Also it probably was too potent for my skin because I noticed increased redness while I was using it. I can't say it's a bad product but certainly wasn't for me at all.

I cannot get this to work. I like powder foundations: I apply foundation with a brush or sponge, and this immediately rubs off in little flakes, shreds and balls. I've tried everything, and have concluded that this is a terrible product. I don't understand how it ever made it to market. Doesn't anyone test these things?

Stung my eyes and had an overwhelming fake peach scent (yes, there's fragrance added). If I'd bought it, I'd certainly be returning, but since it was a GWP, I'm pouring it down the drain.

I bought this product twice now and plan to purchase another one during Sephora's 20% off sale. Prior to this, I was using Bioderma's lotion but they have discontinued it and I had to find another face lotion to use. I picked up this one as it is a light moisturizer. It is not thick or heavy and it keeps my face moisturized throughout the day. I apply makeup over this without having any issues as it dries quick enough. I do wear sunscreen on top of this prior to makeup so I let it sit a bit. I like it how it comes in a tube for hygienic reasons. It does have a faint scent to it - more like an almond type of scent - which I find smells good. It doesn't last for that long so there's no lingering scent on your face. My face is also very sensitive as well and this moisturizer has not caused me any problems including rashes, milia or any other skin concern. The price is a little high but it's not a drugstore brand. I wear this lotion during the summer and fall months but may require a thicker moisturizer once winter comes if there's a lot of wind. Overall, I will continue to buy this product.

Love this product. Helped my laugh lines and brow wrinkles immensely. I'm in my late 30s and the best I've found yet. I feel a little goes along way, otherwise, you can get some piling. Good under foundation for smooth coverage. Definitely keeping part of my daily regimen. Can wear alone too to balance skin and feel good about sunscreen protection!

Decent cleanser but I prefer the gel cleansers from Peter Thomas Roth. Murad's Clarifying Cleanser has a dulling effect on my skin. It just robs me of my glow. It keeps my oily-combo skin clear, rinses off nicely, no residue, doesn't dry me out, lots of good things. But I don't care for the way it makes my skin look. Tired.I wouldn't buy it again.

This is far too thick and goopy hence I'm unable to use this on my face. There isn't much moisture either. Ingredient wise, its fairly gentle, I'm used to using 1% and 0.05% tretinoin, so I didn't see much of a difference. Packaging is great, I still think Green Cream retinol cream is by far the best. This is similar to LifeFlo retinol 1% which you can buy off iherb or vitacost for much cheaper. I would recommend this to those who are looking for an occlusive layer at the end to seal their skincare in at night and you want some treatment ingredients in it. I'm currently using the eye serum in the same line and I like that much better than this. I finished this as neck cream and it worked well.

This broke me out, which is a bummer because it was really expensive. Note though that I almost always break out with Vitamin E (Tocopherol/ Tocopheryl acetate), which this spray contains. But other than that here's what I've got to say:The product comes in a bottle slightly too big for its content. I say that because the first time I held the bottle up, it felt a bit too light that I thought it must have spilled on its way to me. But there was no sign of that. Thing is, the bottle made for 200-250 ml liquid contains only 130 ml of this spray. So basically, you're paying a lot of money for a small amount and you'll also have to buy it regularly as it will surely run out fast. On the upside, the container is amazing as others have noted. It feels high-end but not OTT and the way it sprays is smart - a slight press and it releases a gentle mist that covers a wide area. If you're really efficient you can spray your entire back with only 2-3 brief sprays and you'll have no issues spraying upside down.If your sense of smell is sensitive, it's important to note that this contains a potent alcohol smell. I needed to take breaks between sprays to breathe; it was that strong. The tingling was also intense. It was like my body was on fire, except with menthol. It can either be a cool or an uncomfortable experience. Lastly it was extremely drying, so make sure you slather on some really good moisturiser after it's dried. I just wish they'd reformulate and remove the Vit E as the product is still drying overall so it's not really helping.

I've been using this product religiously since I was 19 yrs old, I am now 35... I am still waiting for my first wrinkles on my face. I always get mistaken for 10+ years younger than I really am. I don't drink or smoke, so I'm sure that helps as well and I have oily skin (was more oily when I was younger), but I would highly recommend this to anyone. I used other products before I found this when I was 19 and I have never looked back. I use this as soon as I get out the shower and that is all. I use this in combination with their face wash and my results are outstanding. I always credit this product when people ask what do I do to keep my skin looking great... AND I'M A MAN!!! If this will work on my rough, tough, bearded exterior, imagine what it would do for you!!! My only complaint is that it runs out and I must buy more.

I was confused by the 30-day Murad Acne Complex kit I purchased from Sephora - It came with the cleanser, the sunscreen/moisturizer, a sulphur mask, and a spot treatment. It didn't feel like a complete skincare system for 30 days... (no regular moisturizer?)My skin didn't really clean up my skin or perform any miracles and I really thought it should have included a better moisturizer. These are very expensive products and the ingredient quality didn't live up to my expectations. I have tried other Murad moisturizers that I love but nothing in this kit really stood out for me.

After using this mask every week for a month I see no difference in my skin. It's nice that it's hydrating and doesn't make your skin dehydrated but it also doesn't change my acne. I will not re-purchase.

This lotion made me extremely oily which is the total opposite of what it's suppose to do. It's nice that I wasn't breaking out but it also doesn't get rid of my acne. I will not re-purchase.

I'm an oily as you can get and have been searching far and wide so that miracle product that will cut my blotting times in half at least. This didn't help me 100% but I don't except any product to do that anymore. Although this is the closest thing I have found to help control my oil! I definitely don't blot nearly as much as I usually would and when I do get oily it looks more "dewy" rather than full on oil slick.
Are you sure this product is discontinued?
