I believe this product is quite expensive for a body lotion that has silicones in it. Also I think the smell is a little too strong for me so I can only use it on my legs and then I hav to wash my hands.I like that it gives you a glowy look and the fact that it has shea butter in it. It is not a very moisturizing cream.I won't repurchase this product because of the smell, the price and the silicones.

Youtube made me buy it.I think it happened at least once,if you are lucky,to blindy spend your cash because a beauty guru gave it a stellar review. This is basically what happened here:saw a video and then basically went out and bought it. While it's surely overpriced, beauty guru forgot to mention that part and i probably wouldn't have spent 39.00 euros for a body oil was i not already in a hunt for a new one,i do think it's...worth it. This product leaves my skin so amazingly soft,i have no idea what kind of witchcraft they put in there, but let me tell you:I have used many different oils on my body, including regular almond oil,and none of them left my skin so nourished and so smooth as this one (and do notice i scrub myself regularly). The smoothing part is the first thing you notice, you basically won't stop touching your skin in disbelief;I know it's also supposed to firm the skin, but i have not been using it for enough time to notice a difference in that respect. The scent is fruity-sweet,it smells like freshly picked almonds with a bit of powdery sweetness, could be considered overpowering by some. That packaging though, who was the genius who thought glass bottle and oily hands was a great idea?As it's NOT a dry oil, even if it absorbs pretty quickly, you are supposed to use the spray pump with your oily hands while maintaining the glass bottle. Come on,I know the glass gives it an expensive look, the appearance it's worth all that cash, but glass, really?!The packaging gets a side eye from me, but the product itself is actually pretty good and i would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I had first tried L’occitane’s shampoo and conditioner for dry or damaged hair (pink bottle) as I was having issues with an itchy scalp and thought that it might be due to dryness. The smell was so putrid I could barely use it up, but I did and my hair looked plump and full bodied. So when I ran out I thought I would give this a try. It’s heavenly! It smells of mint, amber, and orange and leaves my scalp feeling clean and fresh all day. I use it with the matching conditioner and have had no more itchy scalp ever since! I love when you’re ready to repurchase that you can buy a refill bag. Very economical and eco friendly which is important to me.

This lip balm is horrible. HORRIBLE.It just sits on top of your lips and has a waxy texture. It makes your lips drier and doesn't moisturise them at all.. It has a neutral but not quite pleasant smell.

L’Occitane’s Almond Delicious Hands Hands cream is my favourite hand cream from this company. For me, it even beats their famous Shea Butter! I have finished multiple tubes of this beautiful cream. The cream is not too thick in texture, but also not too light and airy. It has a lightly creamy feel to it and is very soft. It melts into the skin easily, without leaving a heavy feeling or greasy residue on the hands. It absorbs in quickly but hydrates well. I have very dry palms that tend to peel when the seasons change, and this handcream prevents this from happening and lessens the severity of the peeling when it happens. A little goes a long way, which is good as the product is quite pricey. The almond scent is also delicious and simply can’t be beat! It has a sweet nutty and vanillary scent, quite strong and will linger on the hands but not at all overpowering. It smells very natural, not artificially sweet or sugary. It is a divine smell and one of the reasons I am obsessed with L’Occitane’s entire almond range! This product is definitely a staple for me, I always have a tube in my handbag. I highly, highly recommend it!

After three months using this moisturizer (It was a gift for christmas) as a part of my daily routine my skin feels soft, and has a beautiful glow. I love the scent and the fact that it's a light cream (I have combination skin) because it doesn't clog my pores. Also, it helps balancing the oiliness of my skin and mattifies it. It also reduced the appearance of my pores and old acne scars I had (I use this product in combination with Kiehl's Blue Atringent Herbal Lotion)The only con: it has silicones so I'd like to try one that doesn't have any, but if it doesn't work for me, I'll certainly go back to this one that has worked very well.

I had a deluxe sample of this. I am not a cream moisturizer person and usually prefer oils, but thought I would give this a shot for my dry winter skin. I was surprised by how heavily fragranced it was for a facial product. I did not find the fragrance to be very pleasant, it had some undertones that didn't agree with me. It went on creamy with a slight hint of mild irritation. I woke up to nicely hydrated skin and thought I would keep this in my arsenal. But as the week went on and I continued to use this, my skin got noticeably more dry and dull. Each application felt increasingly more irritating, and by the end of the week, I felt like my skin needed a detox. No glow, and it was very dry and dull. For me, this seems to be one of those products that works great the first time you use it, but destroys my skin over time.I went back to my face oils and all was well again. I don't think this is a product for sensitive skin. Then I got a load of the price tag and woah. Maybe this might be better without the fragrance, if that is indeed what was causing the irritation. But this very pricey cream made my skin look and feel worse instead of better.

I have mixed feelings about this product - it does the job well, the scent is nice and it lasts a while but it is quite pricey and overall quite a boring product. I received this in a mini size in the L’occitane Advent Calender and have used the whole bottle. I use this after washing with the Shea Shower Oil and the combination does leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The Shea scent is very light, lighter than L’occitane’s other Shea scented products. If you are adverse to strong fragrances then you would love this. It is incredibly mild. It is very gentle on the skin, but nicely moisturising. It isn’t very rich, quite light and liquidy but it does the job. A little goes a long way. Overall I would happily use this again if I were to get it as a gift or in an Advent Calender, but I personally wouldn’t go out and purchase myself a bottle.

L’occitane’s Shea shower oil is a lovely body wash product. It was released in Australia in late 2017, so it is pretty new to the market! It comes out of the bottle as an oil consistency but when it comes in contact with your skin and warm water it transforms into a silky, milk like consistency. It doesn’t leave your shower floor oily or slippery. As such, it is quite similar to L’occitane’s famous Almond shower oil - with two key differences. Firstly the scent is very different. It smells like Shea - very soft, clean and neutral. I personally like it a lot, though some people have said that it reminds them of babies - for some that will be a negative, but I personally find it comforting and inoffensive. It won’t clash with any scented lotions or perfumes that you follow up with. The scent will linger on your skin for a long time afterwards. Secondly, I find the Shea shower and oil to be more hydrating on the skin. My skin is always silky smooth after using this product. I always follow up with either the Shea Fabulous Ojl or Shea Ultra Light Cream to keep my skin extra soft. I also believe this product would suit sensitive skin as it is natural and not heavily fragranced. I use this multiple times a week and already picked up a back-up bottle. I would highly recommend this!

I received a sample size of the L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate when I purchased the Almond Oil body wash. I have sensitive skin and thought that I would be safe using the almond milk concentrate after having no reaction to the body wash. I was wrong. I broke out in the itchiest angriest rash from my neck to my shins. I have had hives before, but the itch has been unbearable. What on earth have they put in this? I've had to take Prednisone to calm it down, and that's pretty strong medication. I am now covered in red bumpy little sores. So disappointed in this and seeing so many other people having the same reaction saddens me. There is obviously a pretty strong irritant in this. I have a number of known allergies and checked the ingredients to ensure they were not included. Thank you L'Occitane, I now have another allergy, although I don't know what the hell it is. I am beyond disappointed. And still itchy.

I use this pillow mist every night before bed, as it helps me get to sleep. I suffer from anxiety and often find it hard to fall asleep, I can lay awake for hours and hours, but I do believe this pillow mist gets me to sleep very quickly. Maybe it’s just a placebo effect, but to me, a good night sleep is worth it. The scent is gorgeous and relaxing, mostly smelling of lavender with a herbal earthiness to it. This product contains lavender, mandarin, bergamont, sweet orange and geranium essential oils. I simply put one spray on my pillow and the scent lasts for a long time - definitely until I fall asleep. It doesn’t stain or discolour my pillow cases, or damage them in anyway. It also doesn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts on my cheeks (as they are against my pillow all night.) I am obsessed with this and have used multiple bottles. I will continue to repurchase this product - it’s a must-have for me.

I got a sample of this and it hardened. I thought I could still use it for my cuticles but the next week it separated into oils and solids. Only buy if you can return it if it happens to you. Tried to publish a review on their website but they emailed me that they wouldn't publish it.

It's okay but nothing special. It smells really nice and isn't harsh on the skin but it doesn't really do anything that water couldn't do. I wouldn't repurchase.

This is one of my holy-grail L’Occitane products which does not receive enough (or any really!) hype. It is part of L’Occitane’s Ultra Soft Shea range, which also contains rose and vanilla body creams, and contains 10% Shea butter. It is quite price - $36AUD for 100ml - but it is worth every penny! It comes in a tin with a screw on lid, which I have no trouble unscrewing. The cream is fairly thick, very soft and pillowy, and melts beautifully into the skin. It absorbs quickly leaving my skin soft and hydrated but not greasy or sticky. My skin is always baby-soft after using this, I love how it makes my skin feel! It leaves my skin delicately scented. I personally don’t find the lime scent to be overly strong or zesty - to me it smells like Shea with a hint of sweet limeade. The scent lasts gently on my skin for a few hours. I absolutely love this cream, I have gone through multiple tubs. I definitely recommend it!

This is the first shower gel/body product that I have ever bought a backup of - I love it so much! It is unfortunately limited edition, but still widely available and I highly encourage verbena or citrus lovers to pick it up! It is a lovely shower gel, with the fresh citrusy and green notes of verbena and menthol mixed with the light florals of geranium and rose. The menthols means the skin has a slight tingling feeling when this product is used on it - though I do not find it to be strong or irritating at all. It just leaves the skin feeling lovely and fresh. This shower gel leaves the skin feeling clean but not stripped. It isn’t drying at all, though I do recommend following up with a lotion for extra soft skin! The scent lingers for a long time on the skin, and will also make your bathroom smell lovely. I adore this product and hope L’Occitane decide to add it to the permanent range in the future.
