This dries out my hair, unbelievable. I do not dare to use anymore - cannot be healthy for (fine) hair.

I love lustre lock! This product is so good for my hair. It's super smooth and silky RIGHT after I've used it. I know it's for coloured hair but I've been using it on my virgin hair and really feel like it does a good job. It's now in a spray format too, you can watch my full review and demo here on YouTube:

Amazing stuff. I have fine, permed hair that I do regular pin curl wet sets on. It doesn't get much heat styling at all, but the perm makes it very dry and wet sets that are brushed out are prone to frizz. This does what it says, really; it's an intense hydrating treatment, and it works. Makes my hair noticeably smoother, softer, less dry and less frizz-prone. On my third tube, I use this every time I wash ny hair. Will keep repurchasing.

This, along with the K-Pak Intense Hydrator, has made the biggest difference in how my hair looks and feels that I've ever experienced. I'm a convert. My hair; fine, slightly wavy and permed, to help my regular pin curl wet sets last better. The perm is quite rough on the hair, of course, I tend to get a lot of frizz if I'm not very careful about how I do the set and brush-out, and I do brush the sets quite a lot, which is also hard on the hair. This helps a lot, making my hair feel smoother, stronger and better, more like my hair when it's not permed. I do agree that this needs to be followed up with a moisturising treatment, though, it really is a protein treatment, not a hydrator. I'm on my second tube of this, on my third tube of the Intense Hydrator and gradually switching my entire haircare routine to K-Pak products, that's how much of a difference it makes for my hair. Never used salon products consistently before, though, so it could be just that, but either way, I recommend this and will keep repurchasing.

I've been using this consistently for a decade now which should tell you just how much I love it. For reference, I have very fine (but plentiful!) blonde hair which is put through the ringer what with my weekly swim in a chlorinated pool and then lightening it with lemon juice. I use this once or twice a month if my hair is in good condition, and once or twice a week when it needs some extra care, and it always visibly improves the strength and texture of my hair. I have found that it's necessary to follow it up with a deep conditioner or oil to stop it from feeling dry, and I would definitely consider this to be more of a strengthening treatment than a softening one. The only complaint I can think of is that the top always seems to be really stiff and difficult to open which isn't great when your hands are wet in the shower! ETA: I forgot to mention that I first started using this when I had white blonde hair (that, whenever my roots started to show, I would bleach all over out of teenage laziness!) and this is the only thing that stopped my hair from completely disintegrating whenever I tried to run a comb through it. So if you're looking for something to save your bleached locks this might be just what you need!

If you are ever looking for the Chelating Shampoo, it has been renamed K-Pak Clarifying Shampoo. I was pretty set on the Chelating shampoo as I live in an area with hard water, like mineral deposits on my faucets and in my coffee make hard. Needless to say, hard water does a number on your hair. I have pretty typical 2b hair, fine, flat on the top with a slight wave down the ends and prone to dryness. The reason I had to make sure this was formerly the Chelating Shampoo is that clarifying shampoos aren't your friend if you have dry hair. Lately I had noticed my hair was looking particularly limp at the ends one day after shampooing, if I didn't have dry hair it would only be an afterthought, but I had day one hair that where the ends were so dry I'd get static when brushing, and day two my hair was limper than a wet noodle. I wet my hair thoroughly, applied a good amount of shampoo to my palm and lathered up. Waited about two minutes, rinsed well and followed with Joicos Intense Hydrator. I didn't find the shampoo to be overly drying, which was my main concern. Using clarifying shampoos in the pest meant spending 15-20 minutes brushing out tangles from my hair. This left my hair more manageable, but does need to be followed up with a good conditioner. This is a must if you live in an area with hard water.

I have incredibly dry curly blonde hair that has always been prone to breakage. I've tried a few different conditioners and hair treatments and this is my favourite so far for the price! My hair noticeably feels stronger, looks shinier and feels softer!! It doesn't repair hair (nor does it claim too) but it certainly hydrates. If i have the time I will leave on overnight or for a few hours for maximum results (noting my hair is very dry - this may not be as good as an idea for someone with less damaged and healthier hair!)

My color-treated hair gets fragile and dry, especially with heat styling. It was feeling like straw and I decided to try this spray, along with the shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. All of the products from this line are amazing. My hair is silky, and the spray doesn't weight it down or make it look greasy. It also doesn't appear to have any effect on the color. Super happy with this product.

About 3 weeks ago I had a balayage done with different blonde tones, from golden to icy white. I haven’t had my hair bleached in about 6 years and I forgot how quickly your hair can start to get brassy. I was beginning to notice the icy white areas of my fresh balayage looking a touch less icy even after using purple shampoo and conditioner (and my shower head is filtered).I came across this line at Ulta the other day and grabbed a few of the products in this line including this masque. I mostly use Joico products in general because the quality is just amazing, so I was excited to try this out. This masque’s claims: “Instantly hydrates, softens, and illuminates by neutralizing chlorine and removing trace minerals that can dull and yellow blonde hair. Nutrient rich Tamanu and Monoi oils help restore strength and reduce breakage.” This masque basically did everything it claimed to do. It really softened my freshly bleached hair and noticeably brightened everything right back up! The scent is a fresh floral, not my favorite, but it smells good. As with most masques you really gotta spend some time rinsing and making sure it’s completely rinsed our so it doesn’t weight down your hair. I used this in combination with the Brightening Veil spray (which I’ll review when I’ve spent more time heat styling). My hair was noticeably smoother, brilliantly shiny (like next level shine), and my hair is SO soft and light. I just love everything about this masque and because of it I’m going to pick up the shampoo and conditioner in this line as well. Leave it to Joiconto once again dominate my shower lol. The only downside is that it’s quite pricey for the size of the tube. It was $20.99 for 5.1oz tube. Because my hair is cut into a bob about 2” from shoulders, this masque will last me maybe about 6 uses because my hair is so thick, but if your hair is long you might find that you go through it more quickly. Granted, it’s a masque and therefore should not replace conditioner after every wash.If you have blonde/bleached hair, definitely check this product out (and this line for that matter) to brighten up your blonde while providing astounding softness and shine! Love it!

This was a good purple shampoo for a great price. I purchased a 1L bottle for under $20 on sale. Did a good job toning the brass. I’d likely purchase again in a pinch but I’ve tried other products that work better and generally just like better.

This product got me started on my protein-product journey but I don't love it. It adds 'slickness' but not any real strength or hydration. It's basically just expensive gloss drops.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I have tried a lot of treatments with protein and finally found the best one for me. I have fine hair that's prone to breakage and splits. I really like aphogee's keratin treatment but it's just a chore to use. This is wonderful. Combined with my beloved Redken Diamond Oil intense, it gives my waves the smoothness and definition I've been searching for.

I bought the 1 liter bottle on sale at burlington coat factory and i used it continuously more than a year!!! I loved this conditioner, it smells nice and it makes my hair soft and shiny, I don't know about the volumizing part, maybe the difference is subtle, but i do recommend it.My hair is oily and straight, processed but not damaged.
