Background: Coarse, highlighted/over processed/dyed multiple times thick Asian hairThis stuff sucks... I used it twice and it made my hair frizzy and dry/crunchy. My roots/scalp were fine and I didn't experience a greasy feel as others mentioned. Thank GOD for Ulta's great return policy since I exchanged this for Joico's moisture recovery line which is great.

I love this stuff! I have dry overprocessed frizzy hair and this conditioner smoothes it out quite nicely. I leave it on for longer than the directions say, but I am not sure it really matters.

This product is fantastic on my very dry highlighted wavy hair. Only conditioner that has made a noticeable difference in smoothing my rough hair texture. Will definitely keep using and recommend!

Faded way too quickly.... after a week you can hardly tell I had any color change, and I have fairly light hair. It also faded in a slight greenish grey tone. Wish this color was darker and stronger in terms of staining.

As we all know for those that color treat their hair, sulfates are no good. However, since dying my hair brights such as purples, pinks and blues, you have to be extremely careful to preserve the colors. I've tried cleansing conditioners in the past with absolutely HORRIBLE results. I saw this new product at Ulta and was very curious due to the foam formula. The bottle is a nice slim design for only $23 which is a lot cheaper than buying my typical salon quality shampoos and conditioners. What's nice is that I need far less product when using this cleansing conditioner. All I need is a one inch "whipped cream" cloud to get my entire head clean. What you do is wet your hair in the shower, apply the product to your hands and rub your hands together and apply it to your head from roots to ends. You are to leave it on for five minutes then rinse. The results from just this one product are just amazing. My hair is properly cleansed but not dried out or frizzy. It lifts up oils and mind you, I only wash my hair once a week! It doesn't leave that typical nasty oily feeling like with liquid based cleansing conditioners (WEN etc). It is safe for color treated hair and I do get very minimal color "leakage" from washings. All I have to do is apply a heat protector and blow dry after and my hair is shiny, clean and healthy looking which is quite a victory for people that dye their hair extreme colors.

This is a high quality and effective Purple/brass neutralizing shampoo. It smells nice, washes well, rapidly neutralizes the hair (without having to leave on long or use too frequently... at least on my fine highlighted blonde - naturally dark blonde- hair). I do not tend to turn brassy ever, but did when I had my stylist change up my highlights once for a ginger tone... it came out too orangey-copper, which I didn't love/didn't suit me. This shampoo fixed the tone easily. A great product all around, but... very drying... particularly to my (naturally very very sensitive) scalp. My hair is always strong enough to stand up to it, but my scalp is easily dried out by this shampoo. However, I will still use it from time to time to blend in my roots to my highlights.

This is one of the best products that I have ever used. I have highlighted hair that tends to have some breakage on the ends. This product is nice and thick, you only need a small amount. It leaves my hair super shiny and strong. I have seen a huge difference in the my ends. The product only has a mind smell. I have been using this every other shampoo. The only thing I would recommend is that you don't use it to close to the root area or you will get a stringy flat look. Overall Fantastic product.

Bought this for $8.99cad at Winners, this moisturizes my dry damaged hair very well, better than many higher end conditioners. I like how slick it feels on wet hair, definitely makes my hair easier to comb through. Scent is plain, non offensive. Would repurchase.

Bought this for $8.99cad at Winners which is a pretty good price, there are drugstore (and high end) shampoos priced higher than don't work as well as this. This cleanses well but gently, lots of lather, doesn't seem to strip out hair dye. Scent is fine, nothing special but not offensive. Great everyday shampoo for dry, damaged hair in need of moisture at a reasonable price. Would repurchase, 4.5/5

Giving this a 4.5/5 picked this up at Winners for $7.99cad. This is a really great leave in conditioner, I have dry, coarse, damaged hair and this definitely helps my hair feel softer and look healthier. Works well with the matching shampoo and conditioner but also works well with any other products I use. Took off half a lippie because it doesn't detangle quite as well as I would like (missing that slick feeling that helps me brush out my hair) but it does a little bit of detangling. I do like Matrix daily leave in a tad better than this but this is cheaper and does work really well. Would repurchase.

I bought sample sizes of this and the K-PAK cond., both are fabulous. This combo so far has left my hair really soft, shiny and for some reason enhances my wavy hair! I'll keep using until the sample bottles are gone, but I'm pretty sure that I will purchase the full sizes. I'm impressed!!

I really love this product. This spray leaves my hair soft and shiny and helps with damage without compromising volume. It seems to do a good job protecting my hair, but I do use it in conjunction with the Joico k-pak mousse. It does not seem to gunk up my styling irons or brushes like some products do. The spray does stream out so it is a bit difficult to apply. This product does not have an overpowering smell. This is a keeper.

Today my 3rd time using it. I’m using the clarifying version as i can’t find the old version of chelating shampoo. First time didn’t make much of an impression, I used it like I normally shampoo and with apple cider vinegar rinse and hair serum. Result wasn’t good, still frizz city. 2nd time I left it on about 3 mins like the instruction and used it with a deep conditioner and serum, still got frizz, my hair felt squeaky clean like when you use a foaming cleanser on your face. Hair felt clean for 3 days like usual. This 3rd time I left it on longer for 5 mins, with deep conditioner and more serum. Hair was less frizzy and felt very soft. However more hair fall in the shower noted with deep conditioner compared when I just do apple cider vinegar rinse. No colour fading - I have a permanent hair colour. We’ll see how long the cleanliness feeling going to last this time. One of the reasons I wanted to use this is to remove build up so that my hair will feel cleaner a lot longer like when I have my hair wash in the salon.

Might as well be called a "tangler" for all the good it's done. I've tried this after various different shampoo and conditioner combinations and every single time it leaves my hair a dry, stiff, tangly mess. Consider me thoroughly unimpressed.[EDIT 11/12/17] I like to give products a fair trial even if they initially leave me unimpressed, so after repeated use I can say that this does make my hair a little softer and perhaps shinier but still causes a ridiculous amount of tangles that otherwise wouldn't be there. Perplexing.

Very good leave-in protein treatment. I can feel the difference in my hair when I use this, it feels stronger and in better condition. I had previously tried Redken CAT protein spray and didn't notice any improvement, the Joico is much better. I would not recommend spraying directly onto hair because it's not a watery mist. It's a thicker creamy spray. I spray it into the palm of my hand until I have a small puddle, rub hands together and apply, comcentrating on the ends of hair. More like you'd apply a serum. I use it every second or third shampoo.
