I bought sample sizes of this and the K-PAK cond., both are fabulous. This combo so far has left my hair really soft, shiny and for some reason enhances my wavy hair! I'll keep using until the sample bottles are gone, but I'm pretty sure that I will purchase the full sizes. I'm impressed!!

I really love this product. This spray leaves my hair soft and shiny and helps with damage without compromising volume. It seems to do a good job protecting my hair, but I do use it in conjunction with the Joico k-pak mousse. It does not seem to gunk up my styling irons or brushes like some products do. The spray does stream out so it is a bit difficult to apply. This product does not have an overpowering smell. This is a keeper.

Today my 3rd time using it. I’m using the clarifying version as i can’t find the old version of chelating shampoo. First time didn’t make much of an impression, I used it like I normally shampoo and with apple cider vinegar rinse and hair serum. Result wasn’t good, still frizz city. 2nd time I left it on about 3 mins like the instruction and used it with a deep conditioner and serum, still got frizz, my hair felt squeaky clean like when you use a foaming cleanser on your face. Hair felt clean for 3 days like usual. This 3rd time I left it on longer for 5 mins, with deep conditioner and more serum. Hair was less frizzy and felt very soft. However more hair fall in the shower noted with deep conditioner compared when I just do apple cider vinegar rinse. No colour fading - I have a permanent hair colour. We’ll see how long the cleanliness feeling going to last this time. One of the reasons I wanted to use this is to remove build up so that my hair will feel cleaner a lot longer like when I have my hair wash in the salon.

Might as well be called a "tangler" for all the good it's done. I've tried this after various different shampoo and conditioner combinations and every single time it leaves my hair a dry, stiff, tangly mess. Consider me thoroughly unimpressed.

Very good leave-in protein treatment. I can feel the difference in my hair when I use this, it feels stronger and in better condition. I had previously tried Redken CAT protein spray and didn't notice any improvement, the Joico is much better. I would not recommend spraying directly onto hair because it's not a watery mist. It's a thicker creamy spray that won't distribute evenly. I spray it into the palm of my hand until I have a small puddle, rub hands together and apply to my hair, comcentrating on the ends of hair. More like you'd apply a serum. I use it every second or third shampoo.

Joico K-Pak Cuticle Sealer Treatment is a very unique product. I use it once a week prior to deep conditioning and it closes my cuticle down on my dry ends and provides a nice shine. It is a watery product, but you only have to use a little bit. I actually think it helps the conditioner work better. I am surprised that I don't see many reviews on this product, maybe because it is a little harder to find. It does work as described. No harsh smell or residue. I would recommend this product.

I really like this, my hair(form dsoarhair.com) is oily at the roots and dry at first, but is generally pretty healthy. The problem I've had in the past with other shampoos is build up and getting really oily really fast and not feeling like my hair is clean at all. This cleans my hair without making it feel stripped. Sometimes I get dandruff on my hairline even if my hair is dirty/oily (weird contradiction I know!) and when I use this shampoo it completely fixes it without smelling like a disgusting dandruff-only shampoo (I've only known dandruff-fixing products to be smelly). I get a lot of volume from this shampoo too, and a nice amount of shine

HOLY COW. After trying so many “damage repair” products I can finally say this products truly DOES WORK. I started with the color therapy shampoo with the kpak luster lock treatment and now I use the shampoo, conditioner, and the luster lock treatment on my ends and I’ve used this combo a total of 4 times and my hair has little to no signs of damage. Before I used this my hair had been bleached, dyed, straightened every day and was frizzy as all hell. Now my hair is shiny and soft and I’ve noticed less breakage as well. Also, I just noticed the other day that Walmart is starting to sell this line. (At least in Canada it is) I’ve been recommending this to everyone I know and will continue to do so.

I have fine hair so I have tried lots of products, cheap, and expensive. I like this as it really does make your hair look thicker. I did not find that it dried it out as some others have said it did, actually my hair looks shiny after I blow dry it. You cannot expect miracles but so far this has worked the best for me. Of course I do use a thickening shampoo first.

I got Revitaluxe because I somehow hoped that it's a 2-in-1 product and would somehow replace K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor paired with K-Pak Intense Hydrator and give comparable results. Well, I was wrong apparently, as Revitaluxe is a decent hair treatment, but it's not knocking my socks off and doesn't live up to the claims Joico makes about its abilities, that it, for example, instantly repairs years of damage, according to Joico. Somehow doesn't make my hair as shiny or as manageable as the Reconstructor/Hydrator combination, not to mention it's hard to see any "repair" action happening. It's not like my hair is super-damaged, I have damage from hair styling, but that's about it. Revitaluxe also doesn't hydrate my hair as well as I hoped/expected and does disappointingly little to reduce frizz, both which are areas where Intense Hydrator excels at. While I love K-Pak line in general and it has given me marvelous results (and I've been coming back to it for 15 years because of that), Revitaluxe is more of a miss for me. It's not a hard fail as it didn't leave me greasy and limp, or damage my hair, but I never had good hair days when using it, neither alone nor combined with other products.

Joico K-Pak is my go-to line when my hair needs repair treatment (the K-Pak 4-Step program: Clarifying Shampoo+Cuticle Sealer+Deep Penetrating Reconstructor+Intense Hydrator) and Intense Hydrator is without doubt one of the best conditioners for my hair (virgin, but heat damage and styling product build up) to make it shiny, de-frizzed and manageable. It's so good that I've used to on and off for about 15 years now, and can always rely on it to pamper my hair, without weighting hair down. It works nicely on its own as a conditioner, with both clarifying (Joico K-Pak) and moisturizing shampoo (Alterna Caviar Repair X or Alterna Caviar Moisture Intense Oil Shampoo), and also as part of the 4-Step repair program as final step. For a quick in-between fix I also use Intense Hydrator after Redken CAT treatment, and also for co-wash purposes. It should be noted that Intense Hydrator alone doesn't repair hair, nor does it claim that, but it definitely helps restore pH and moisturize levels. The only thing that always bothers me is the chewing gum smell.

Pros: works well, leaves hair soft and flexible, and it is truly great for color-treated and thick hair.Con: smell is horrible. It's not fruity like other Joico products, but smells like harsh cheap perfume, and overwhelmingly strong. The smell doesn't fade even after a couple of days, and it will obliterate any other scent you try to wear. I notice it in bed and it bothers my husband, who has never complained about any other hair product I use, so I had to stop using it. Otherwise, this is a fantastic product. I have super thick, long, wavy, colour-treated hair that pretty much has a life of its own. Few products make it manageable, but this one does. If you have thinner or finer hair, it might weigh it down: my hair can handle really heavy conditioners, but this one feels light to me even though it adds a lot of moisture. It feels amazing when you massage it into your hair, it detangles exceptionally well, and it adds shine and reduces frizz. I notice someone said it smells earthy, so I wonder if there was a different formulation a few years ago? I've tried it twice in the last two years and it's definitely a perfume smell. Joico, please make a scent free version for those of us that can't handle strong perfume or for those who work in scent-free environments (yes, scent-sensitive people will smell it when you are near them). I'd buy this again today if they had a different smell or an unscented version (which would be great for all hair products, so you can choose to wear perfume without mixing scents.). The shampoo, by the way, is much easier on the nose and works well, but it's not as amazing as the conditioner.

This works really good. I use it in between the K-pak intense reconstruct product. This makes my hair shine, adds moisture without compromising volume. I can go two days and it does not leave any oily film on my scalp and it smells good too. I love most of the Joico K-pak line. Yes, I will continue to buy.

Holy grail for medium brown highlighted to blonde hair. If your hair is too yellow after bleaching, you need purple. If it is too orange, you need THIS. Sometimes purple shampoos will make my blonde lilac or grey, while leaving the orange completely alone. This never does that. This cools off any orangey still-darker areas of my hair while leaving the blonde alone. The only time it's ever given my lighter hair a bluish tint is if I leave it on too long immediately after bleaching (when it's ultra porous) or right after using an ACV rinse (which opens the cuticle).

For some reason this stuff totally fried my hair. How a semi permanent color managed to do this, I have no idea. I had previously used the Ion Brilliance semi permanent color in the lavender/lilac shade and it was beautiful, but washed out very quickly. My hair was in really great condition, and the color was just faded. I wanted a fresher color and wanted to try something different, so I opted for the Joico. Big mistake. As it was processing, and during application, it was a bit more difficult to spread than other brands I've tried. It seemed to "dry" quickly, and was not conditioning in the slightest. Not that I necessarily need it to be conditioning, but I certainly don't want it to dry the crap out of my hair and make it as brittle as this did. The Ion Brilliance left my hair feeling amazing, whereas this made my hair feel like straw. It was also very goopy and difficult to rinse out. I've even had some hair break off, and it seems as the color fades out my hair has only gotten drier. I'm combatting it as best I can with protein and moisture treatments, and have managed to salvage things a bit. But I will never use this ever again, and recommend that anyone else who cares about the health and integrity of their hair not use it. I find it so strange how this color managed to do this... but I digress, skip this one and opt for a different brand. I am quite sad about the hair breakage. I suppose hair does grow back after all.. *sigh*. I only wanted to be a lilac mermaid. Instead I turned out a greyish lavender broomstick.
