I have this in 08 Glimpse Brick Brown, which is a beautiful rosy terracotta shade on my neutral, NC20 complexion. I bought it for ₩9,000 (around $11 CAD), which is a good price for the quality in my opinion.

Just like the name suggests, the formula is soft and pillowy like a light mousse. Upon application, it is easy to blend out into a gradient lip but it can also provide wonderful pigmentation without any patchiness. Once it sets down to a non-drying, soft matte finish, it doesn’t feather or somehow gets on my chin when I eat. However, it is not transfer proof or smudge proof - there is minimal transferring and if I wipe my mouth most of it will come off. This lip tint lasts 4+ hours on me if I only drink water and don’t eat. When this wears down it fades into a pretty ‘blotted lip’ look. Taking all of this into consideration, I would classify this as a lip tint/liquid lipstick hybrid instead of just being a lip tint. The packaging is cute, lightweight and sturdy. The fuzzy doe foot applicator is soft and is a good size to quickly apply with. I find the powdery floral scent of this lip tint to be quite faint and it dissipates once set, so it is not annoying at all.

NOTE: it is currently hot and humid where I live, so I don't find this to be drying (but it's not moisturizing either). YMMV depending on where you live. I have dry lips 24/7 so I always make sure to exfoliate my lips before using this or else it will exaggerate the peeling skin.

Overall, this Peripera lip tint is a solid, low-maintenance product. Definitely one of my go-to’s when I just want to throw something on so that I have some colour on my face. I love the pillowy, airy texture so I do use this often. I would recommend this.

got this in Elf Rose. I love the color and been using this for more than a week already but I don't like the rosy smell. It also dried my lips, too dry it went chapped. When I reapplied this lip tint, it had a stinging feel to it. So I stopped using it and waited for my lips to heal. When after a week my lips are ok again, i tried this product on lips and immediately it turned dry 😞 what a waste of money

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this on MUA yet!

Given all the online hype and the affordable price point (S$6.40 each on Shopee Singapore), I bought this in four colours right off the bat: #1 Heart Grapefruit, #2 Pretty Orange Pink, #7 My Brown Coral, #8 Glimpse Brick Brown.

In terms of texture and longevity, this really lives up to the hype. The feeling on your lips is really like nothing, I forget I'm wearing lipstick. But note that this is a matte lipstick, and I wanted something a bit glossier so I might still go back to buy more Armani Ecstasy Shine or Laura Mercier!

Colour description:
#2 Pretty Orange Pink: Bright tomato pink, I wouldn't consider this a neutral. But it is flattering on me.
#7 My Brown Coral: Such a gorgeous gorgeous nude. My favourite and most wearable shade so far!
#Glimpse Brick Brown: Earthier neutral than #7. Looks a bit dull in photographs but very nice and natural in person. Good for more mature, professional settings.

(To be continued)

I`m surprised at the negative reviews here. Could it be that the color I got works better? I sometimes find that to be the case with some lipstick shades, where some colors are pigmented and gorgeous, while others are patchy messes. I don`t know. The shade I have is 05 Inktude Rose. It`s a blueish red, very pigmented with one swipe. I was amazed how light and comfortable the formula feels on my lips. I didn`t feel that this dried my lips and when the color eventually faded (though it lasted fairly well through a meal and drinks), it did so in an even way. I always apply this with a lip brush, and do several thin coats, perhaps this is why this lasted longer on me than the previous reviewers?! Anyway, one downside for me is that while the color lasts really well on the lips, I have a very small mouth and I like to overdraw my lips, and on the portion outside my lips this did fade a tad unevenly. I also tend to switch up my lipsticks, so I never wear this more than a day or two in a row. Perhaps this is the reason why my lips didn`t dry up. Even so, compared to other matte formulas (Revlon, Too Faced), the Peri`s Ink was incredibly comfortable to wear. I would repurchase again, though I would try to wear the other colors before purchasing, just in case the other colors have issues, like the reviews on here seem to suggest.

The short of the long is this: HG product. My fave lip tint of all time.

I chanced upon this by pure serendipity, and I thank the heavens I decided to buy one, mainly because it was cheap, and I'm a sucker for red lip products. My first Ink Velvet is #1, and as soon as I applied it, I was in love. It's highly pigmented, long-lasting, comfortable on the lips, very reasonably priced--everything I want in a lip product. I remove it by using either a micellar wipe or just plain baby wipes. I now own the other red colors #9 & #15, as well as #6. I find I reach for them more than any other lip products I own, they're that good!

I bought 6 colours of this brand: 6,7,8,12,13 and 14 because the colours looked really pretty on pictures and when I saw the reviews. Although it is very very pigmented, it doesn't stay on your lips. It's really disappointing because the colours are so pretty. It also dried out my lips which was a big disappointment. I feel like I just wasted money on this. What I do so it will stay on is I put a different lipstick as a base (stila all day lipstick) then use it as colour accent and it actually works! it's give a really pretty combination because of how pigmented it is! but on it's own, it doesn't work for me.

Will not recommend. will not buy again. EVER.

I'm quite disappointed by this because it's so hyped up online. Had this been a blind purchase I would find this okay, I suppose. And "okay, I suppose" isn't bad since it's workable, it's just that I'd rather my collection be about quality over quantity.

I have this in #6 Celeb Deep Rose.

So everything I've read about the Ink Velvets has been overwhelmingly positive, especially for this colour. They're claimed to be ultra long lasting even through food, fade evenly, leave no transfer, wear comfortably and leave your lips soft. I had high hopes for a stain version of Rimmel Apocalips (Make Your Move is the longest lasting lip product I've ever used) but non-crumbly with a nice finish.

My experience with #6 is that it wears off unevenly, and the colour varies significantly. For reference, I'm an NC15 - NC20 with strong yellow tones. Online photos show it to be a pinky rose. When applied straight, it is an orangey brownish red on me. After blotting, it turns either a gorgeous shade of peachy rose that brightens up my face, a red so bright that others comment on it, or fuchsia. If I take a photo of it, no matter what colour it pulled in person, it shows up as the same berry pink on my phone. This is in both natural and artifical yellow light. The nice thing though is that the photo colour looks gorgeous, even if it isn't what I wanted. I do not use filters or have any beauty modes enabled on my phone. This affects both the front and rear cameras on my Xperia XZ.

Today I had it pull bright red on me, and only four hours later it has faded badly. Now the edges are straight orange and the middle is hot pink. It looks reeeeally bad and unflattering, like I was intentionally messing around with kids make up.

It fades from the middle of my mouth within a few hours even if I don't eat. It lasts through drinking without any transfer whatsoever (which is impressive because I hate lipstick rims) but definitely not food, unless it's non-oily and I use a fork and eat it with my teeth sticking out like a horse. You will need to reapply after eating. If you do eat, it turns hot pink in places.

I also find it fairly drying. It's a stain so it's not like it crumbles or anything, but it definitely exacerbates my lip wrinkles and because the stain doesn't have a "finish" that could smooth it out or be blamed, the wrinkles just look really bad especially since the colour sometimes pulls neon and begs everyone to look at your mouth. I get that long lasting products are always going to be drying, but it sucks that it dries out all of your whole lips while fading unevenly in patches. At least it's a stain so it reapplies easily, which is something you can't always do with liquid lipsticks.

It is very long lasting to the parts it sticks to, which is actually a bad thing. For instance, I had it be rose one day. Six hours later, it turned hot pink and left me a lip line and a second horizontal stripe going across the middle of my bottom lip (I have full lips). Looked really bad. I tried to wash it off and couldn't. I had to over exfoliate my lips twice just to get it off enough to be able to put another colour on top the next day to hide the residue.

I'm not going to repurchase this because I like my purchases to be planned and quite frankly, I can't plan for whatever colour this is going to turn on me. I also don't want yesterdays colour to be todays left over residue. I find that although every colour it pulls on me is very flattering, I don't think it is worth the hassle of trying to get the remaining patches off at the end of the day. This has left my lips in worse condition than before I bought it due to the drying and the effort required to get the patches off (and most days I don't even wash it off before bed because it's so damaging to get it off).

I will continue to use this for days when I want to snack on less junk food, since I can still drink with it without worrying about transfer.

Foundations -peripera -Inklasting Pink Cushion

I have the shade #1 Pink Ivory. This is my first foray into cushion foundations, and I am very late to the game, I know. I mainly wanted something for the summer that had a high SPF that I could take with me for touchups. This has a SPF 50 PA+++ sunscreen, which I was pretty excited about. The shade range is not all that impressive, but since the coverage is light to buildable, I wasn't all that worried. There's a mint version as well, which I believe is meant to help control acne and sebum production. This product comes in a matte plastic baby pink compact that is sturdy without being too heavy or bulky, and the flap that separates the foundation from the applicator is very secure so that I don't have to worry about it leaking in my bag. It also has a nice mirror, which again is nice for touchups. As I said, the coverage is buildable, but it does start out very light. I do find the undertone to be very pink, so if you're quite warm this might not be the best option for you. One selling point of this product is that it is meant to be long-lasting, and I do find that the wear time is pretty good providing that I don't sweat. When it does fade it doesn't break down and look cakey, but instead just sort of gracefully vanishes. It does have a strong sunscreen scent that I personally don't mind, but some who are sensitive might not like this. Overall, I think this is a good product for traveling or on-the-go application that doesn't need to be touched up every hour or two.

I love this lip tint. I have this in #5 Elf Light Rose in what I think is the newer packaging (see pics). The texture is mousse-y-creamy and the color is saturated. The ink stains immediately and the applicator is not great, so you may want to use a more precise doe-foot applicator to prevent staining of unwanted areas. I took off 1 lippie for the heavy perfumed scent.

Pros:

Lasts longer than any other lip stain I have tried
Cute Korean themed packaging (cute always gets me)
Decent amount of product 0.28 ounce
Relatively inexpensive (paid around $10 for it)
Decent color selection

Cons:

Heavy perfume scent
Applicator is not great

Very saturated compared to other stains. If reapplied, works like a soft lip cream. Unlike the watery stains, I can get the coverage I want in one swipe. Works about 4-5 hours of drinking water and using a vaporizer.

However, it does wear off patchy. Another problem is the color line does not include any natural colors. Granted, the corals and roses look very natural once they stain and the cream is off. But ideally, they would look more nuanced upon application.

I have shade 01. I like it because it stains my lips, but the cons are that it applies a little patchy and is not as long-wearing as I expected. It stays remarkably longer on the hand when swatching than it does on the lips. Applying it fully to the mouth is really neon-looking, so I always apply ombre-fashion.

I extend the colour and longevity by applying this at least twice. Ombre-fashion, I apply to the centre of the lips and then blend. After it dries down, I apply again.

I do recommend this product to my friends though, because I feel that it does what a tint is supposed to do for a reasonable price.

Blush -peripera -Cushion Blusher

Asian makeup always has the cutest packaging, but I often find myself less than impressed with the formula (not always!). Sadly, this one didn't stand out of the bunch either.

I got #5 - Lively Lavender and, sure enough, it's a bold lavender shade. If it stayed true to the color fresh out of the tube, I would hesitate to recommend this for anyone except like NW -100 or something, lol. Luckily, this pastel lavender dries down darker and warmer after about 10 minutes so it is wearable for a wider range of people than I had first assumed (still not a very wide range, to be honest: pastel lavender blush is hard to pull off). Also, since it has a rather strong white base, it wouldn't work on very olive tones; I'm just barely olive and it still borders on looking "off" on me.

The formula is thick and not quite a full-on moussey texture, but it's almost there. As a result, I found it difficult to spread this evenly on the cheeks. And the cushion applicator is more just for laying the product down, not for blending, so fingers/brush are optimal. And I could see a clear divide where the blush ends, although it's less noticeable over time as the product melds into the skin. I've had much better results with other cream blushes. At the very least, I'd say this product is one of the most pigmented blushes I've owned among the ones from Korean beauty brands. The powder blushes I have don't even come close to the level of pigmentation as this cream blush. Still, even though this color is cute and unique, I wouldn't buy this product again.

Lasts for a long time compared to other tints that I've used before and the Mandarine colour is super pretty and makes me look so youthful and cheery! Price is around the average price of lip tint too! Really good product overall

I have the orange and the darker red one.

Orange one looks like nothing on my tanned skin.

Red is a bit better but I have to be really careful and quick when I blend it. If I don't blend enough it gets too patchy, if I over do the blending...it's gone.

On my lips, it sits in the center of lip and I'm always forced to do gradient lips.

I prefer the Etude one, it's more gel-like.
