Masks -First Aid Beauty -Hello FAB Ginger & Tumeric Vitamin C Jelly Mask

Don’t understand the point of this. I like my masks to have a moisturizing, clarifying, or brightening effect. This did not have any of these effects.

Tinted Moisturizer -First Aid Beauty -Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30

I was very excited to try the new First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30. I found this moisturizer to be tinted enough to cover superficial blemishes and slight redness. I would say this provides light coverage. This isn't super hydrating and is better for those with dry skin who need just a little hydration. I do love that this contains a higher amount of SPF. I am not a big fan of the citrus oil and fragrance ingredient that they included, although I cannot smell it much, I do have sensitive skin that will get very dry and irritated by these ingredients, but thankfully have not noticed any issues yet. My more detailed review and swatches can be seen here:

I've been using this moisturizer for about a week now and I've got to say I can already see a difference. My skin has gotten drier as I have aged so my skin care routine has shifted away from combo to moisturizing. I have tried several different combinations to get my skin back to some sort of normalcy and the associate at Ulta recommended this. It's really good. One pump and it covers my entire face completely. It soaks into my skin so nicely, making my skin feel soft, supple and smooth. And it feels that way all day. Dare I say that it helps my primer hold my make up even better? I think it does. At night I use the repair cream. Both contain colloidal oatmeal so you are getting some major repair help. It's my new HG moisturizer.

I have become obsessed with FAB products. I bought the kit that contained this at Ulta because this was full size along with the moisturizer and radiance pads with 2 sample sizes of the skin peel and facial cleanser, what a steal!!!! This is an amazing lip balm. I'm completely hooked. I use the Burt's Bees lip scrub and intensive night therapy lip balm at night and this during the day. My lips, which had been so dry this winter to the point of cracked and bleeding at times, are so soft and nice now. This stuff is a miracle worker.

I've been looking for a HG primer for years and I've finally found it. I have combo to oily skin and this never makes me feel oily or greasy. Smooths and hydrates my face for the perfect makeup application. So glad I found this.

I like the texture of this moisturizer and the amount of product you get for the money, but this did such strange things to my skin. Every time I use it, my face feels soft to the touch the next day, but it looks very congested and I have even more blackheads than usual in places where I don't usually get blackheads. My pores just look very clogged and my skin looks so dull, yet it feels so soft when I touch it. Very strange. With continued use I think this would make me break out. But at the same time, I think this helped bring down redness and irritation a lot for me, on actual zits. But it made me look dull overall. It also didn't cause much of a reaction in my very sensitive skin, well except for a slight itchy sensation, which I ignored, but hmm... probably shouldn't ignore lol. Anyway this stuff is really weird and I wouldn't try it again.

I have very dry lips and I mainly use this at night before I got bed.

The lip balm is very moisturizing and feels great on but it is very thick. If you apply too much, you will definitely get some build up. I wake up with moisturized lips which is great!

To start, I have combination skin, more so on the oily side. It is currently Winter in Canada, so the weather has been harsh and my skin has definitely been more dry.

I have really tried to love this product because you get so much for a good price.. however, this moisturizer left me with super dehydrated, swollen, itchy, red patches of skin on my cheeks.

I first tried this cream last Winter and experienced what I described above. I suspected that it was the cream because when I put it on, it would burn my cheeks but I was really hoping it wasn't! I blamed my new work environment and my foundation. I stopped using the cream too but I didn't see my skin getting too much better even swapping out my cream.

I tried it again this Winter. Bad mistake! I had the same reaction. This second time around, I finally accepted that it was the cream and immediately switched it out for another cream and my skin is back to being smooth!

I will just use this on my body as I don't get a reaction that way.

Scrubs -First Aid Beauty -Facial Radiance Polish

I received this as a freebie from Ulta when I bought a First Aid Beauty package. As far as cleansers go, this is pretty good. It's not that great of an exfoliator for me. I don't really like the way it smells or feels on my skin. To me, an exfoliator needs to have enough grit to feel like it's working without feeling like it's ripping your skin. To me, this feels like there is more cream cleanser than exfoliation material.

This stuff is really good. It has colloidal oatmeal in it and wow. My skin has improved greatly in the few weeks I've been using it. This past week, I've started mixing 3 drops of my favorite facial oil in with it too at night and the next morning my face feels amazing. Between this and the glycolic acid toner that I use, I feel like my face looks much more radiant and soft. I don't know if I will continue to use it during the summer though because it's really thick. But it's great for dry winter skin.

I bought a giant tub of this at Sephora before Christmas because it was such a good deal and it sounded like it would be good for my rosacea-prone skin. While it's a pretty good moisturizer, it's not amazing. I like the clean, medicinal smell and I LOVE the whipped texture that sinks into your skin effortlessly. What I dislike about this is that it's actually not that moisturizing. The texture feels like it would be, but the feeling just doesn't lasts long and my skin feels parched in no time at all. Second, something in this makes my facial skin ITCH like crazy! I will definitely use up the remainder, which is probably going to take a year, but I will not likely repurchase.

Not a huge fan of primers, but I got a sample and was really impressed with it..it goes on light and smooth, adds a bit of a glow to my skin, hydrates it which is a plus in our freezing cold dry Canadian weather..basically, the best primer I have tried, better than Becca , and the Burberry glow..I have bought the full size..it has a light coconut scent, very nice..I had bought the Marc jacobs coconut water primer which broke me out..this is better , and cheaper...I highly recommend it .i used to think primers made sense only for oily skins..I changed my mind !

I have sensitive / combo skin that gets acne easily... this broke me out so bad, like under the skin cystic bumps on my chin. I kept using it on and off because I didn't realize it was the culprit since its labeled for sensitive skin. I had a sample size two different times. I appreciate that it didn't have any perfume or "harsh" ingredients issa no for me

I originally received this as a sample, but I repurchase after using it up.

I don't typically wear foundation, but I have been using this during the fall and winter over my sunscreen and moisturizer to help the concealer I wear go on more smoothly. I don't find it heavy or greasy, despite all the product layering I do. It nicely evens out my skin tone even though it really doesn't have a tint to it. It feels nice and silky and does not break me out or irritate my sensitive skin, even when it flares up from something else.

I'm definitely not a primer aficionado, but I really like this product!

Sunscreen -First Aid Beauty -Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40

foto

Advantages:
* Soothing
* Great ingredients, actually full-spectrum
* Moisturising
* Non-irritating

Disadvantages:
* Couldn't blend in
* Make my skin oily

I have sensitive, combination, rosacea-prone skin (like most other reviewers!). After extensive research into chemical vs. physical sunscreens, I decided to look for a moisturising full-spectrum sunscreen with at least 15% zinc oxide and preferably some titanium oxide as well.

This moisturiser fit the criteria, and the ingredient list is best in class, so I gave it try. But it takes me 3 minutes to blend it in, even on a clean and dry face! I tried the "warming in your palms" trick, no luck. All day I was told "hey, did you know you have something white on your face...". On top of any other products, forget it - it all pills off.

On the plus side, is soothing and gentle, but on the downside, it also makes me super-oily.

I'll save the rest of the bottle for a holiday when I need some serious SPF and have time to blend blend blend, but won't be re-purchasing. It's worth trying it for yourself though.
