I really like this soap. I use it as an all in one. I use it to wash my hair. Much better than straight castile soap. My hair is color treated, fine and medium to thick density. My scalp is happy and my hair is silky. I have not noticed color stripping but I do not wash my hair everyday. I use this to wash my face. I would say I am on the dry side with no skin issues as to breakouts and such. This soap does not leave me feeling stripped nor dry. It lathers well and is creamy. The fragrance is natural and balanced from essential oils. Not over the top, but you can still smell it and it lingers lightly on my hair. The pump works well. I have gone thru a bottle and will repurchase. Great find at a good price and easy to find...I found this at Walmart btw.

I’ve just finished a 32 oz bottle of the unscented lotion. Meh. I love that it is truly unscented and doesn’t compete with whatever fragrance I use. I live in a high-humidity area and I still don’t feel this truly moisturizes or sinks in. I suppose it is a good basic lotion but there are far better basic lotions in the “natural” market. I was ready for this bottle to be done and will not repurchase. (Prior to this one, I had the lavender version- same experience. Light and hardly moisturized or sank in. Blah.)

I bought this due to the word "Hydrating" but it is so drying!!!I really wanted to deep cleanse my scalp as the Jason's one is too soft on my hair and doesn't deep cleanse my scalp. i bought this and even though it is said for "normal to dry hair"; it is DRYING....I will use this once a week to deep cleanse my scalp and that's about it. Once I'm done using this big bottle of 32 oz, I will have to decide if I want to repurchase. I think it does deep cleansing well but also dries the hair too much. PS: I am already clean from "poo" hair stuff since 2014 when I cleaned myself from silicone and all dirty hair products.EDIT: 6th January 2019 - Halfway through the bottle I discovered that the formula has changed colour but kept on using it anyway. Wrong move... my head started to get pimples and it was gross and painful. I threw out the rest of the discoloured formula. No more. EDIT: I think this conditioner is really good! My hair is bouncy and feels soft but not limp. I've now only used the regular amount (as if I'm using dirty conditioner) and it still conditions. However I think this conditioner will not work for people with extremely dry hair as it does not have enough softening capabilities. I think this is only good for people with normal hair. Not even dry hair. ===I just bought this recently and I can't tell how good or bad it is yet. I am using this conditioner because I've bought the Alaffia Coconut Shampoo that is too drying and I need conditioner.I've used the conditioner and I think I used too much as it doesn't have the regular slip that regular conditioner (dimethicone) has. Which I am grateful for as I am going clean with my bathing products. I just have to rewire my brain to the fact that clean products will not feel the same as the dirty products. My hair feels nicer and smoother than when I don't use conditioner. It is softer and almost shiny. I also like that it is clean and the background of the company for empowering women in Togo with their business. (When I'm using Jason's shampoo, I do not need conditioner but need deep cleansing as I feel oil build up on my scalp.)I will keep monitoring.

I used this product for more than a year and a half. And it's an amazing product. My only problem with it is that the consistency is constantly changing and in the end I opted to go with a more consistent product.

Using it as a full body, hair and face wash. My hair turned out so soft that i didn't need conditioner. You won't get much lather but it cleanse really well without drying skin out. I love it that its natural, fair trade and environmentally responsible. This may become my staple soon.

This is a gentle, low-foaming sulfate-free and silicone-free shampoo with neem, tea tree, rosemary, and tumeric. When I shampoo every other day or every two days, I first put oil on the ends and gently massage the oil in my scalp, like pumpkin seed oil to pre-poo. I leave the oil on my ends for about an hour. Then, I wet my hair with a spray bottle. I take a quarter size amount of this very liquid shampoo (it's not a thick creamy shampoo). I massage it into my scalp. Then I rinse with head bent over under the faucet. I let the remaining shampoo through the rest of my hair and rinse thoroughly. I don't pour shampoo throughout my whole head. I do this routine so I don't get in the shower and scrub the top of my head with shampoo. That was killing my curls on the canopy and causing a lot of frizz. I like the light fragrance (natural fragrance of green rice and mint, smells like mint). This shampoo doesn't irritate or burn or cause itching to my scalp. I do feel it gently cleanses my scalp. There are so many shampoo options available. I like the ingredients in this. I try to narrow my shampoo to benefit my scalp with neem, tea tree, rosemary, etc. as the primary ingredients. And no sulfates or silicones. I bought this at Whole Foods for around $8. I also follow with a conditioner, the Alba Botanica Hawaiian Marula Miracle Moisture Conditioner.

got this primarily to use as shaving soap since I prefer those over gels. it left my legs super soft without clogging my razor or causing any irritation. I used this as a face wash because, why not? It left my face feeling super soft yet oh so clean. works well with a loofah on a stick to clean my back as well which is something I realized I needed (I had been previously using a bar of soap by rubbing it on the loofah which is a bit of a pain as it can destroy the loofah over time). all in all this is a great product and the peppermint aspect leaves me feeling so fresh. I much prefer this over shea moisture's African black soap which is thicker and smells like sulfur.

I absolutely love this stuff! The bottle is huge and lasts a long time so the price is a steal. It leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated, but looking matte.

I purchased this shea butter at Whole Foods for about 10 bucks, which is an okay price for this item. When I took it home and tried to apply it to my skin, it was hard as a rock. Okay I understood that was normal since it is winter in the Midwest and this doesn't become soft unless it is like 75F or something of that nature. So I put in the microwave, in the original container and set it to one minute. It barely soften, so I reheated it again and microwaved it for five minutes. Well that wasn't smart because I partially melted the container, but it is still functional, just not so pretty anymore. But that mistake kind of worked in my favor because now it is much softer and easier to apply. I probably ruined whatever organic goodness and special whatevers unrefined shea butter has but I just needed something that acts like Vaseline but isn't Vaseline. Insane I know. So far it works in that regards. The only reason why it doesn't get a five star rating is that there is a musty undertone that does not work with my body chemistry and in turn makes me smell musty. So I use this butter at night after I shower. So far I am ash-free. Personally I would not purchase this again because I learned I like my shea butters "gentrified", meaning I like shea butter refined the fcuk into oblivion. I have sensitive skin and unrefined shea butter is too unpredictable on my skin. Some days my skin doesn't react and other days I am covered in welts(or where I applied the unrefined shea butter). My shea butter of choice isn't even pure shea butter, it is a shea butter blend. My heart is sworn to Palmer's Shea Formula Raw Shea Balm. That stuff actually help heal the cracks in my heels because I am foolish to walk around the house barefoot for no reason. Now that product is the one I will purchase on repeat. This shea butter, not so much. Again I have to stress that I have sensitive but unpredictable skin so this product might be someone's future holy grail.

One bottle will last you almost a whole year! That makes this fair trade paraben-free stuff downright cheap. It's super gentle on my sensitive skin and I use it for shaving as well. I have it in the Coconut Lime scent which is better than the plain coconut scent in my opinion.

I had to make a trip to whole foods to find this. Good for oily skin, I find it a little drying. The price and packaging are good. Edit: Too drying. Had to stop using.

I love this toner, it's affordable and very refreshing, I just bought a second bottle! It comes out like a spray and I just spray my face and let it get absorbed, it absorbs into my skin after about five minutes. It smells vaguely of coconuts and it hydrates me skin, very good toner.

I love this toner. I use it to dampen my face before applying serum or lotion. It's incredibly refreshing, and makes my face happy. Very affordable!
