This is a beautiful foundation. I would say the coverage is light to medium but radiant. Makes you look like you have really bright, glowy and youthful skin. I would only wear this if I am having a good skin day. Even with powder over it, still holds it's luminosity. Feels good on the skin, also feels expensive. I'm liking it!!

I brought the 90 capsule bottle recommended by my friend.I was looking for anti aging product bcuz I have already hit 30.I am not a big fan of oil product cuz i get break out easily but my friend convince me to drop by the EA counter to try the texture thus the shopping mall was having a 20% off for their card member. The BA tried the oil on my hand and honestly I was not crazy over this product due to its texture but I heard alot of good feedback therefore I decided to buy.I am very skeptical about this ptd especially it contain mineral oil,its a big no no for acne sufferer like myself.I was really scared so I tried their gwp first which include 6pcs of the capsule just in case if the ptd breaks me out,I can do a exchange or refund.I only use the capsule at night,my face is pretty small so I used the remainder on my arms. The oil does not absord well and it leaves a film of oiliness on the skin even after applying the night cream but the next morning I woke up,the oil has disappeared leaving my skin soft and supple.I have been using this ptd more than a month now and no break out but I avoid applying on my fresh pimple just in case it might worsen the condition. My skin looks more soft and less rough, more plump and luminious,my facial lines is less visible.

I was at Costo and for $40 CDN you get 2 X 60 capsules, that is 120 capsules. I consider this to be a very reasonable price for eye treatment and it works. It is like an eye treatment for 2 months, twice a day, for $40 CDN. Yes it does not have SPF, but that's not what I'm looking for in an eye treatment. I want something that will hydrate my under-eye area. It is an hydrating serum and I find that it has helped changing the texture of that very delicate and thin skin under my eyes. Some reviewers mentioned that it was difficult to twist off the capsule to get to the product. It is true, but now I keep a small scissor on my table. I hold the capsule, cut the tip off, squeeze the capsule and pour the serum in the palm of my left hand, dip my right ring finger (the fleshy tip of it) in the serum and spread it equally between the two eyes. To make sure I don't waste anything, whatever is left, I rub on the top of my hands. It is a good serum to keep your hands looking young too. Of all the products I have used recently, this is certainly one of the most conclusive. I would put it at the same level as Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair for eyes, but much cheaper. FYI... I've been using the product for the past 3 weeks.

I am at my early 30s now and I needed something to counter aging. My friend recommended me to try EA,my first purchased were their ceramide capsule and ceramide night cream.I received gwp which includes the day cream so I tried and I like it .First of all the texture is not thick so is suitable for my skin(combination dry-tzone oily and cheeks dry).It have a very strong perfume smell,my nose area tend to sting when I applied the cream but overall it did not cause me any major skin irritation or breakout. It give a healthy glow after application,my skin fell plump and less tight after 1 month use.Decent product with spf 30 with pa++.I agree with some of the reviewer that the day cream is slightly overprice.Just ask for sample over the counter before buying to avoid disappointment.

I’m actually kind of disappointed in this product. I love EA products, it is a very high quality and vastly underrated brand but this cream missed the mark for me. It may in fact be super moisturizing but I can’t get past the smell or the texture to give it a real chance. Another reviewer mentioned it feels like glorified Vaseline and that is not far from the truth. It is definitely more of a barrier cream rather than one that absorbs into the skin and if you can tolerate that sticky feeling then you might like it but all I wanted to do was wipe my face because it made me itch like crazy.

The smell and sticky texture is something I could not live with. Could not try using it more than a couple of times.

I used a sample of this. It is a really nice cream for those days when you need some pampering. The scent is divine and the texture is pleasant. Is does not leave any sticky effect at all and it moisturizes well. However, I prefer body lotions in a pump bottle. Also, this is not one of those products where a little goes a long way.On the other hand, the scent is so good and refreshing that I am on the fence about actually purchasing it.

This cream feels nice on the skin. It smells great but not overpoweringly. SPF 30 is a plus. Decently moisturizing. However, it is ridiculously overpriced.

I bought this to replace my serum in my daily skincare ( I know it's NOT a serum but I just can't be bothered w/ adding an extra step in my morning routine and the benefits are just the same). I wasn't sure what this 'essence' is but what I did know is that I like the scent! Mild clean almost powdery scent. I opted for this cuz, the texture was not tacky as serums can be. This 'essence' is very watery almost toner-like in texture. I apply after cleansing and toning, I prefer to use my hands as opposed to the recommended cotton ball cuz I feel it gets absorbed into the cotton leaving minimal product for my face?! I rub my clean hands together after a few drops poured and pat my hands all over my face and neck. Face truly feels fresh and clean, non-drying, no residue. Moisturizer on top and I'm good to go. Face feels soft all day. I don't know what this product does but whatever it is, it did me great thru the winter and summer months. As for antiaging effects- not sure as I feel my face is the same, I don't really have severe aging effects yet, bonus to me is the antioxidant properties that would aid to halt the aging process, right? Big claims that I find are nvr proven by any brand regardless, I know I just like this product. I'm almost done my 2nd bottle and looking forward to repurchasing...

(I've loved Merle Norman's Powder Base for a long time, but I need a different shade now and really don't like my local studio since we've moved. It's no problem to order other things from my old studio, but not foundation colors.)Thought I'd go back to Illuminare's, but they are way too yellow for me now. So. I needed a new foundation. Read some nice comments about this EA and decided to try it. I'm thrilled! It's close to double the price, even with Dermstore's 20% discount, but I'm really loving it. The texture is featherlight, but with nice coverage, and it lasts at least 12 hours in warm or cool weather, with or without a primer. Doesn't need powder. I'm not crazy about the jar. I like that it's plastic rather than glass, but it gets a little messy on the lid. Don't quite know whether to discard the separate inner lid.Application is simple, a few dots on the face, then blended out with a slightly damp Beauty Blender. I haven't noticed much scent. Looks and behaves well with or without primer and over the various moisturizers I’ve tried. Passes the rearview mirror test. And does NOT settle in lines or pores. There are not many shades, and it's impossible to tell, on their site or any others I've seen, even which are lighter or darker. I called EA and expressed my frustration. When I told them which colors have worked (Revlon Sand Beige, Bobbi Brown Sand, Prescriptives Vellum, MAC nc20-25...) They said “Cream” would be perfect. Ordered from Dermstore and had serious doubts when I saw it—it looked a bit darker and pinker than I'd expected—but the shade does look perfect on!

got a big bottle of this stuff hoping it'd be a good winter moisturizer as where i live it gets quite cold and windy, meaning my skin is often very dry. i also wash my hands obsessively so i needed something to counter how cracked my fingertips can get from time to time.i've just started using this regularly on my hands about a week ago with minimal results. every day my fingers are scratchy and uncomfortably dry, and the only purpose this lotion serves is to make them marginally less uncomfortable until the next time i wash my hands. it does sink in fairly quickly, i will give it that. but in terms of delivering long-term moisture, it really fails for me. if you are someone who uses hand cream while out and about i think you might actually really enjoy this as it doesn't stay feeling sticky or greasy for very long, and it does provide some moisture, it just isn't going to keep your skin hydrated unless you're using it on a constant basis. i purchased quite a large bottle of this moisturizer so i was hoping it would be heavier and slightly greasier, so it could provide some moisture on my legs and arms while i slept. i think next time i'll need to do some more research. as it stands i use this as a hand cream almost exclusively.i find the packaging to seem a bit tacky, just seems half-assed. like something you'd find in a holiday gift bath set from a company who doesn't really care whether or not their products are great because they're only around once a year anyway. smells that way too. the scent isn't offensive in any way, i'm just not drawn to it.wish i could have returned this.

These disagreed with my skin, it tried them nightly for a week, it wasn't a pleasent feel, greasy but dry that comes with silicones, i came out in 6 or 7 angry red surface spots around my eyes and on my cheeks. I do think it improved the skin on my neck in the week but still a no go for me.

i have dry sun damaged aging skin. I use as an overnight face mask over a high percentage Vitamin C serum and its great. The Vitamin E and C are supposed to complement each other. This is a heavy cream but its also neutral in that its not going to irritate sensitive skin. As my skin is naturally dry, this cream doesn't clog or get too heavy on my pores. It does make my skin nice and soft the next morning. Really loving it. A lot goes a long way so good value for money.

I must be in the minority - what smell? what scent? If there's a scent there its not enough to put me off. Maybe this old duck is just lacking olfactory senses, but i didn't have a problem with it. I have aging dry sun damaged skin, i like this stuff, I use it of a night time over my serums and its great, it moisturises my skin, it sinks in nicely and I'm not having issues with dry patches. It plays nice with the serums, retinols, ahas and oils that i use and I've got no objections to it. Its a reasonably priced product, especially if you pick it up in a sale or on clearance, some people may not like the jar, but frankly i wash my hands as part of my skin care regime so i've never had a problem with moisturisers in a jar. Its a nice balance between a nice thick moisturising cream and not too heavy. love it.
