This is a relatively stiff gel (bordering on solid) that contains nourishing oils and is meant to be massaged onto dry skin. Once you have worked it in, add a small amount of water to activate this into a milky texture that continues to cleanse your skin. The first time I used this, it didn’t do a great job of breaking down my makeup but I didn’t use very much. I would say you need at least twice as much as Clinique Take the Day Off or The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter to have this work well. It works even better if you use either a silicone scrubbing pad or a cleansing brush to help this remove makeup. I love e.l.f products but for the price, this one falls short for me. You just have to use too much and there isn’t much in the package so it doesn’t last long. If they make a larger tub or reduce the price I would purchase it again. But for now, I won’t be repurchasing anytime soon.

A great alcohol-free toner/essence! It contains coconut water, glycerin, niacinamide, and coffee extract to name just a few amazing ingredients for the skin. This feels lovely and dries without a sticky finish. The packaging is beautiful for such an inexpensive price. It comes in a frosted glass bottle and looks very nice on my vanity. I much prefer this over many other more expensive ones I’ve tried. The fact that e.l.f is cruelty-free only makes this an even more appealing option. I only wish this was available in Canada because I know I will be repurchasing it many more times.

I had such high hopes for this brush and it took me months to get my hands on it. Never able to find it anywhere in Canada so I included it in my Ulta order - yay for shipping to Canada! This brush was so much denser than I thought it would be, kind of disappointing really. It works better as an under eye setting brush but for highligh, it’s not one I would tell you to run out and get.

I am almost out of my beloved Benefit Lemon-Aid and sort of desperate to find a dupe at any price. I saw a lot of people online claim this was it, so I thought at $2 it was worth trying. The reviews here should have warned me, but you know when you are sure you can make a product work despite it sucking? That's this.I tried it under foundation, over primer, without primer, on bare skin, over foundation, under concealer, nothing worked. Since I find Lemon-Aid is great at making metallic formulas stick and was my whole point in getting this, I thought at least this might hold it on the center of my lid. Nope. Total strike out but I'm not broken considering the price.

I'm VERY disappointed in this product! I spent $8 (US) on a very small bottle. Used it for 3 days, just for it to burn my skin! My face is covered in burns and blisters. On my nose, under my eyes, my lips, chin, forehead. I've been to the emergency room for it causing my face to feel like it's melting. I can't open my mouth, blink my eyes, even lay my face on my pillow at night because of the product. I've bought a lot of elf products to use. I love them all, but this situation has caused me not to trust any of their other products again.

My kid absconded with mine so I got one of these for $2.00 at target.Firm bristles and so far no shedding.Nice find - and essential. And if my kid steals it I can get another easily - and it won't break me.

This was on my ELF wishlist online for ages when it first came out - and was happy to see that my local Target had it in-store! I grabbed Champagne Glam and it's beautiful. Some would probably be unhappy because it's very clear - but it has a bit of a nude/pale frost to it and lots of shimmer/sparkle and shine. It dulls down my pink lips (white nude color) and I love that. It is a bit THICK for my liking, it's a thick gloss, which can make it sticky on your lips. I also found that if I apply one thick swipe, it will clump in the middle of my lips or stick together, so one faint swipe is all you need. But I love the color. The scent is the same as their Lip Lacquers (vanilla) which is fine, but tends to get old.I found NO burning whatsoever because it's a plumping gloss. A lot of folks on ELF were complaining of burning - and I had NONE. I've used/have the Buxom lip glosses - those burn and turn my lips red, no matter what color I try. This product does not, and I have sensitive lips. So i'd use this over the $20 Buxom glosses hands-down. And for $5 -- it's a large tube with a great applicator. Saw the other colors, but I like nude, clear glosses best.

A genius product in theory. For years I've been dipping q-tips in eye makeup remover to fix mascara transfer on a daily basis...DAILY! I can NEVER manage to not get at least one speck of mascara on my eyelid. A pen makes removing mistakes quicker and more convenient. Saw this for about $3 and thought I had scored. However. I bought this product twice this year.. the first time it was completely dried out from the moment I pulled it out of the package. Useless. Thinking it was a fluke and I got a dud I bought it again. ALMOST completely dried out. I still tried to use it but most days I just reach for my trusty q-tips. I was inspired to write this review because today I bought a similar product from Hard Candy called Oopsy-Proof Makeup Eraser which I'm hoping will be a lot better and NOT already dried out. Plus the HC one appears to have a much finer tip which is nice. One of the things I hate about using q-tips on the lid to fix mascara is that sometimes it removes my eyeshadow as well. The ELF eraser pen has a thicker marker style tip which could apply too much remover to the lid and you may have to redo your shadow (if yours is not already dried out like mine!). So...yeah...looking forward to trying out the HC version even though it cost a few dollars more...

i gave this 4 stars for pricing because even at $3, this was overpriced junk. e.l.f. proves that you get what you pay for! shoddy application, sweet smell and taste (ugh!), flat one-dimensional colors. nobody over 18 should waste their money on these lipsticks. spend a little more and get gabriel/zuzu -- those are worth it! i bought these in ravishing rose and wine tour. the rose was like a tacky coral and the wine was just basic kool aid purple. never again.

This moisturizer isn't bad, it just doesn't suit my needs. I have normal-dry skin and I would like more moisture. If I wasn't using this with the Elf hydrating essence, I don't think it would give me enough hydration. I find this similar to neutrogena's water boost moisturizer. Both have a gel-cream texture. Elf has a slight scent. I can't place what it smells like, but it is not irritating or offensive. It pumps out a small amount of product. I use half a pump around my eyes and 3 pumps to cover my face and neck. You do get a lot of product, so i think this could last me 2 1/2 to 3 months. I think combo-oily skin would like it best. It plumps skin and adds hydration without being too nourishing. Overall, a good product, but not for me. I will finish the bottle and not repurchase. I prefer my Yes To Cucumbers moisturizer.

First of all, the texture of the formula isn't very nice. It's quite greasy, but it does blend okay. It has a tendency to almost blend away, but I guess I prefer that to not being able to blend it out at all. This palette really needs to be available in different shades, though. I'm fair with cool undertones, and out of four shades, I can only get away with using one. The highlighter looks crazy yellow on me, and it doesn't look very nice on top of foundation, either, due to the greasiness I mentioned before. The top right one is slightly warm to contour with, but it works in a pinch. Bottom left one is far too orange even to bronze with, and bottom right one is several shades too dark. I don't know if they maybe thought they'd cover three different skin tones in the same palette, or if they think the same person will get use out of all three? It's just a mess. It would make so much more sense as a duo with one highlight and one bronzer shade, and have it available in three or four different shades! Kind of like their blush and bronzer duo.Nowadays when I want to do cream contour I use Jordana's Sculpt n Go Contour stick in Light instead. A much better formula and with three different shades to choose from, out of which light suits my skin perfectly. You might only get one shade as opposed to a palette, but considering I could only use one shade out of four here there's no real difference. That one is $4.99, and this palette is $6.+ Cruelty free+ Vegan+ The one contour shade I've used blends easily+ Packaging is quite sturdy- Greasy- The highlight is more waxy and lays really funnily on top of foundation- Highlight is far too yellow for my skin (but may suit people with warm undertones) and would probably only work for relatively light skin tones- No contour shade really suit people with fair skin and cool undertones- Who will be able to use all three contour shades on themselves!? It's just a waste and should have been made into a duo instead

I've used a few Korean toners and essences and this one from Elf is just as good, if not better! It hydrates and plumps the skin. I feel like it also helps my moisturizer sink in better. This product has a watery gel texture. The bottle is tall and light blue with a sliver cap. It looks very chic! I like to apply it by putting some into my hands, rubbing my palms together, then patting it into my skin. It does have a light fruity scent, but it is not irritating. I think this would work well for any skin type! It has become a must have in my skincare routine!

Use to set my makeup at 6 am, still matte and no oxidation at 9:30 pm. It is very light so it may not work for a wide variety of skin tones, but it'd you are pale give it a try.
