Lotions/ Creams -Curl -Ultra Healing Intensive Lotion For Extra Dry Skin

foto

I was initially using the Cerave body lotion and liked it but not the price for the amount of product you get for the money. It’s not a very big bottle for $14. I knew I wanted an alternative that had ceramides since I get bouts of eczema so I was led to Curel. I have to say I enjoy this more than Cerave. It has a nicer consistency (Cerave was kind of thin and watery), I like the pleasant subtle orange scent it has even though there’s no added fragrance and you get a lot more product for less money. I apply this to my face and body right when I get out of the shower and while my skin is still damp. It soaks right in and is not oily at all. Will continue to repurchase!

Moisturizers -Curl -Intensive moisture cream

Ceramides are crucial in maintaining healthy skin . People with compromised barriers and sensitive skin prone to reaction should really give ceramides products a try.

The Curel Intensive Moisture Cream is now topping the Cosme charts in Japan and I think it deserve all the rave for the wonderful formulation of the products. This product is indeed a god-send. It is great for all skin conditions although it seem to be recommended for people with dry, skin.I discovered this product from a friend who also has sensitive skin issue.

The texture of the product is thick, creamy. There is a slight eucalyptus smell, yet very faint. The smell is almost non-existent. The cream does take a while to sink in once applied onto your face. I live in a humid hot climate all year round in Asia but this item serves me well when I use it at night and sleeps under the air conditioning unit. I would however, not recommend you this if you hate products that takes a while to sink in, you should go for the face milk version instead because it is liquidity and absorbs faster than this product.

The product does not break me out and gives me supple skin and has helped in reducing the occurrence of fungal acne breakout. It is FA safe with a short ingredient list, no bullshit ingredient or fanciful packaging. I typically will use this right after my hatomugi lotion, and both the combination helps my skin feels calm and hydrated till the following morning. It has so far helped prevented dryness, redness and flaking issues that I get whenever I got for a winter holiday overseas too.

Sunscreen -Curl -UV Protection Milk SPF50 PA+++

I bought this as a moisturizing sunscreen for winter. It is not the cheapest, but you do get a lot of product. It is really hydrating, but it is a bit of an oily milk that needs time to be blended in and to set. I have oily combination skin, and while this is not too rich for me, I need to give it a good minute or so for it to set before I can apply my base make up. It is fragrance free, it doesn’t sting my eyes or irritate my skin, and it sits well under my foundations. I wouldn’t repurchase because I prefer a bit of a thicker consistency for my winter sunscreen to make blending easier in the morning, when I am rushing to get to work. Oh, and it does leave a white cast, which I am okay with, but might look strange on someone with a darker complexion.

UPDATE 1/30/2019: Okay, just finished the bottle and I will never, ever repurchase this messy, hard to blend sunscreen. It is just WAYYYYY too much work to blend and the result is never satisfying. I am pale as a ghost, and even on me the white cast this leaves is glaring, so about darker complexion folks?! This is just such an impractical product I would never recommend to anyone.

Cleansers -Curl -Sebum Care Foaming Wash

i have extremely oily skin around my t-zone and this helps to control shine well. even though my skin is still shiny at the end of the day, it’s not greasy but looks like a healthy glow. i used to suffer from closed comedones from a previous product and this helped to clear them up. the foam is extremely fine and does not feel harsh on the skin at all. skin feels natural and well-cleansed after washing too (ie moisture barrier is not damaged). highly recommend this face wash for oily skin types :)

Six months ago, I would never have imagined that I'd be happily smearing a vaguely citrus-scented body lotion on my sensitive, reactive,seb-derm afflicted 44-year-old face, but I NEVER want to be without this stuff!
I've been using this twice daily for the last several months to help combat the effects of hard water and general age-related changes in my once oily and un-finicky skin, that now seems to react to almost everything.
The fact that it is scented doesn't thrill me, as I tend to not do well with scented products and I'm aware of the potential sensitizing issues with citrus oils, but I've given it a lot of time, and I don't see any ill effects. Does my hair stick to my face a little? Sure! It's a fair trade-off though, as my poor skin has stopped turning bright red in response to every shower, temperature change, blast of wind, cup of afternoon tea, or just apparently looking too hard at it.
I would consider this a bit pricey for a drugstore body moisturizer, but a little goes a long way on damp skin so a bottle lasts forever as a facial product. I'd noticed this on the shelf, but dismissed it as gimmicky and over priced, until reading a review by someone using it to heal their damaged moisture barrier, as it contains ceramides.
I've tried a LOT of stuff over the last several years. Pretty much every highly rated cult followed holy grail blah blah blah, only to be forced to return to Albolene cold cream as a moisturizer. That works, but obviously, a slick of pure petroleum is about the least cosmetically elegant solution possible.
This stuff might be a bit extreme for more normal skin, but it has been amazing for my chronic issues. I highly recommend giving it a try, and I plan to hoard some.

Moisturizers -Curl -Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion - Fragrance Free

I'm indifferent to this product. I didn't see any difference in my skin, good or bad. It's fragrance free and didn't cause any reaction to my skin at least. It does seem very gentle to the skin as well.

This toner is really great for controlling sebum without drying out your skin. It`s high summer in Japan, my oily combination skin is acting up and I`m dealing with bouts of hormonal acne, deep seated cysts in my chin area. I like this serum because it is gentle, but effective: a lot of my other skincare for acne is a little drying, so this toner is not adding any irritation. The main ingredient is Eucalyptus extract, and it`s up there, at the top of the list. It is colorless, comes in a great pump bottle, has no artificial fragrances or chemical additives. While my skin still looks shiny, as it`s only natural, I mean, it`s 40C with 80% humidity as we speak, I know from past experience that my skin would have produced a lot more oil without this toner. The price is pretty reasonable, too, compared to other brands. Will definitely repurchase, perhaps even in colder weather, as it is gentle enough.

Moisturizers -Curl -Curél Moisture Face Milk

Okay this is definitely the best moisturizer ive tried so far!!
I have been using this for about a month already and these are my observations:
- skin no longer feels tight after washing
- the breakouts on my nose and cheeks have stopped appearing
- skin no longer becomes dry n tight after being in an aircon room
Before this, i was using physiogel calming relief, but this is better as its way less sticky and doesnt cause breakouts.

Lotions/ Creams -Curl -Rough Skin Rescue

I bought this on a recommendation from the KP thread on Reddit. I’ve struggled with KP for almost two decades. It’s on my arms, thighs, and butt. Recently after giving birth to my second child, I noticed it went to my calves. I’ve really just left it alone for the past 10 years and learned to live with it. I’ve decided to start taking better care of my skin and decided to try this instead of jumping into putting acids on my KP. After the first use, it has made a giant difference. My skin isn’t sticky. It isn’t greasy or coated. It absorbed super quick. This stuff is amazing. I’ve never been impressed by a drugstore lotion. I wouldn’t think this lotion would work for “normal” skin people. There’s no burn for me or any discoloration. It works for the KP. Makes my hands feel nice too. Also, all of my tattoos look brighter. I would get up and check, but I’m lazy, but I’m betting it has urea in it. I love this stuff.

I just finished my first bottle, and it has done absolutely nothing for my skin. I have pretty much normal skin with a little dryness around knees and elbows. I applied it after showering. Even though it's thin and watery, it took forever to absorb into skin. I paid a little over $10 at Target. Total waste of money and I will not be repurchasing. CeraVe moisturizing cream is much better!

I use ROC night time and have very dry skin. I have used Vitamin C and E, Olive Oil you name it I have tried it on my face. My mom had some Curel Advanced. I was in a hurry and put some on. I was disappointed it seem like there wasn't any moisturizer in it. I woke up the next morning and it was unbelievable. My face with soft moist it felt like my lines had filled out and so I tried it again. I am sold this is my new face cream with my Rock.

Lip Treatments -Curl -Moisture Lip Care Cream

foto

After I ran out of my Paula's choice lip balm, I had been searching for a HG lip treatment that will take care of my lips at night. I had been hesitating between this, Fresh caramel one and the Philosophy overnight kiss balm. After some research and walking back and forth in sephora for a few days, I decided to go with this one as it is the cheapest and is quite popular in my country. About my concerns, I have big pale lips, with some visible lines. What I need is an overnight lip treatment that is a bit heavy, long lasting and plump and prep my lips nicely for my lipstick in the morning. This one fixes all the issues. Once applied, my lips look instantly plumped. Lines are gone. It somehow gives a weird pinkish hue but almost invisible. It seems to give a blurring effect on my lips which give a healthy but not shiny finish. The texture is quite sticky, like a glue, which is good because it will stick and last on your lips for quite a long time. And no smell at all! This and La Roche Posay lipbalm will become my truly HG lip balms in my heart. I am so happy with my purchase and totally recommend it.

Cleansers -Curl -Intensive moisture care foaming wash

I have tried numerous face washes but this one is da best so far!! My face is rly sensitive so much so that if i just splash my face with water, washing away my moisturizer etc, my face wld alr feel very tight. Nevertheless, this face wash leaves my face feeling a little less tighter than after using othr face washes!

Its a little ex tho... ( i bought it for $15) but rly worth it! Easy to pump out and water wont seep in as well!
