This is a really great flat iron! Had mine for 4 years & I'm gonna get a new one ONLY cuz the paint has started to peel off on the sides & it doesn't look as pretty as it used to. BUT after 4 years, it still works as good as it ever did. My hair is thick, curly, coarse & frizzy. And even in the disgusting NYC summers, using this flat iron, my hair is totally straight, with absolutely no poof or frizz. It does sometimes wave up a bit when it's very damp or humid, but a quick touch-up takes care of it. I don't even need to use much product. Yeah, this iron is that good! One thing I'll say is it must be cleaned after every use. No other flat iron I've ever had attracts whatever oil or anything else in my hair than this one. So be sure to clean it (very simple -- with paper towel & dish-washing liquid) & it should last a long time. This was way better for me than GHD & so much cheaper. You can get it at Bed Bath & Beyond with a 20% off coupon for a little over 100 bucks. Well worth it!

Another review for the red $80 BaByliss Pro TT Tourmaline Titanium 3000 (BABTT5585). Let’s just put it this way: I was moving and could only take one hair dryer, and I had to choose between this and my $200 CHI Rocket. I chose this one mainly because it’s super lightweight and gets very hot so it does the job fast. I’m not saying this is the most spectacular blow dryer on the planet...I have yet to find that. But in the meantime, the BaByliss will do...I’ve had mine since 2009 and it’s still going strong.

An excellent hair straightener for beginners. The heat sensor adjust the plate temperature according to hair type this helps avoid heat damage. The straightener works well on afro-hair for this very reason. It has a very long cord and comes with a heat-mat that doubles up as a protective pouch. I have personally use this model and never had any problems with it. Suitable for fine curly hair. Always spray your hair with a heat protector before applying heat.

Like other reviews this is for the BaBylissPRO Tourmaline Titanium 3000 Dryer, which isn't listed here on the site. It was time for a new dryer and I allowed myself to splurge, and for me this was a huge slurge so I'm so happy I love it. After reading reviews and getting tons of recommendations I picked this one.I have A LOT of hair. There is no hop in the shower, wash my hair, dry it, and run out the door option for me, but this gets me pretty close. I have to go a few days between washes or my scalp gets really dry, so I end up using this a couple times a week, or less depending on my hair goals and how hot it is outside. I can half dry my hair in about 15/20 minutes if I'm just focusing on a quick dry of the curly bottom layer and a smoothing of the top layer to cut down on flyaways as my hair air dries the rest of the way.I'm getting smoother results faster, even without doing a proper blowout, I'm using my hair straightener less and at lower heats. The end attachment seems to get really hot. Who knew, right? But joking aside, it holds heat really well, so be careful not to burn yourself. My $30 DS dryer never held heat in the barrel quite like my BaByliss.I really like the cool setting. There is a cold button, but this dryer lets you set the temperature to cool as well as warm and hot. It's been a nice feature over the hot summer when I'm trying to dry my hair in an apartment without AC.

This is the best hair iron period. I have had every hair iron out there, CHI, Solia, Sedu, Sally Brands, nothing compares to the babyliss nano! It is second to none and unmatched. This hair iron will not only last you 5-7 years, but it will give you PIN straight hair with so much shine and movement you won't believe. This makes your hair resistant to humidity and locks in the straightening for days. I have the thin model which is the same product just thinner plates and it heats up to 450 degrees and it will be hot to the touch so be weary. Always use thermal protection when using this product because it will damage your hair if used constantly and without protection. Definitely would recommend specially to ladies with thick, curly or coarse hair but also works on thin hair on the lower heat settings.

My review is for the "3000" version not listed. My stylist used this on me years ago and I loved how soft and shiny it left my hair. I immediately bought one and have had it for 10 YEARS with zero issues, and I have not treated it preciously. Granted, she will not be winning any beauty pageants anytime soon as the paint is very chipped and looks like it's been through the war, but the internals are rock solid.Last month, I noticed my stylist still had this dryer in rotation. I told her I still used it too and she said that despite all of the newer technology, it's still in her top 3 dryers of all time because it doesn't burn the hair, gives a ton of shine and gives a hell of a blowout. Her other favorite is the Elchim Professional 2001 but she said it's way too strong for everyday use but is great for a solid salon blowout. I actually own that one too and had to stop using it. Despite the fact that it had the strength of a hurricane and dried my entire head of hair in under 2 minutes - it came with the consequence of drying my hair terribly, not to mention - its super heavy and clunky. I digress...This dryer is lightweight, sturdy, dries hair quickly without burning, delivers a ton of shine, and the cool button is actually cold. All and all, it is fantastic and if it died tomorrow, I would order another without hesitation.

This is tiny but very powerful. It works better than most full size dryers and is so lightweight and easy to maneuver. I prefer smaller dryers because they are so much easier to use. This one does a great job drying the hair in record time and leaves it smooth, silky and full of body.

A very regrettable purchase! After reading rave reviews on this dryer, I purchased one. If you have fine hair do not buy this dryer, or if you have one only use the medium setting and even then only if your hair is mostly dry to style. Using the high setting has resulted in me pulling serious knots from my hair. I would have been better off with a $12 hair dryer from the drug store. While this is fabulous dryer for most people- and I am sincerely happy for them- this has been a nightmare for me.

I really have a love relationship with this straightener!! Works perfectly and doesn't burn my hair (as a lot of my previously owned ones have done in the past). Although it is very pricey, I promise you it is worth it!!

I love this! I have a lot of fine, stick straight hair that doesn't hold a curl well, and this is the only thing that will make my curls last all day. If I curl my hair with a normal curling iron, my hair falls flat within an hour, but not with this! If you have the same hair type as me, try it! It adds awesome texture and body to your hair!

I hate it. I once got my hair stuck in it as my friend did it backwards and we had to chop a bit of my hair off! Also the curls don't last a second in my hair! xoxo

My previous hair dryer was almost 15 years old and about to bite the dust. It's hard to compare the two since my previous dryer was so old, but also my previous dryer was a super cheap Revlon one. This has separate settings for heat and airflow, and nice nice to be able to adjust heat separately. I have very fine hair that is for the most part straight and this is probably too much dryer for my hair type. It's not a bad dryer at all and does the job very quickly but I think it's better suited for fuller hair. The highest airflow setting just sort of jostles my hair around making it difficult to style. The highest heat setting it almost uncomfortable, but again that may just be because I don't have thick or full hair. Price wise it's about middle of the road, I think I paid around $80-90 for this a few weeks ago. It's not a compact or travel dryer but I found it small enough to fit in my bathroom drawer that is rather small.

I love love love this thing!! Omg! I have just below the shoulder length thick hair with layers. I had my whole head done in 15 minutes. This is the first time have have used this on myself and I have a hard time understanding some of the negative reviews, I think this hair appliance is pretty much fool proof!! I have used everything available to curl my hair and this is by far the easiest, fastest to use and it creates beautiful curls! Thank you Babyliss! The warranty is also awesome (2 years)

I love this iron. You can change the temperature settings to your need, which helps prevent unnecessary heat damage. When I straighten my hair, it lasts for a long time, it doesn't go frizzy or wavy. I also use it to curl my hair and it works better than my curling iron that leaves it looking dry. Leaves my hair shiny and beautiful! No cons from me so far!

I fell in love with the Miracurl when my hairdresser tried it on me a few years ago. My hair goes for days without needing to be washed, so I was so surprised to find that the curls stayed for three whole days! It also looked absolutely amazing! This is the ONLY tool that can keep my hair curled for longer than about an hour! I have tried irons, curling using a flat iron, rollers, sock buns, rag curls and what have you but THIS is the only one that got me perfect curls all over my head that lasted to an extent for several days. Now, there is a knack to using it- you must always be very sure that it is facing in the right direction, and that your hair is completely tangle-free. Also, I'd advise curling from the bottom layer of your hair through to the top layers and with a good heat protector!Other issues I have is that I'm weak so it hurts my arm to hold it behind my head for too long!Generally however, this is my absolute favourite tool. It takes me 20 minutes to completely curl my hair these days, and it always looks amazing!
