Eyeliner -Clinique -Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen

So, in my search for an HG eyeliner, I quickly realized just how hard it can be to get a solid cat eye. Yes...yes, I had seen the memes but I had only previously used cheap drugstore eyeliners and figured that it wasn't me...it was the cheap products to blame! I got Kat Von D's Inked liner which was really pigmented but on my oily lids a bit hard to control at times. Once it started running dry I knew I wasn't going to repurchase and read the reviews on this one.
I don't understand what they did different...it looks the same but it is so much easier to manage!! I love very minimal, delicate cat eyes that give you a subtle look and I could very easily draw it one with this one! It is not necessarily as pigmented as the Kat Von D one but tbh, I can at least layer this one on (that's right...LAYER it! I was courageous enough to go back after I had achieved that elusive, perfect swoop because it was just that easy) to get a darker line. Also, I can go back in and add the Kat Von D to areas that I'd like to be a big more pigmented.
Honestly, I don't think I will be looking for any other eyeliners. This one meets all the needs and I'd rather give up a bit on pigmentation in order to have it be easier to manage. Nice job, Clinique!

Lips -Clinique -Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm

I have Mightiest Maraschino, a lovely strawberry cherry red that looks great on fair skin tones, especially Snow White types.

The formula feels creamy with good coverage and a youthful satin shine. Stains the lips deep pink. Feels moisturising but it actually makes my normally ok lips feel tight and dry. Waxy crayon scent, smells like cheap makeup.

Clinique promote this as being cool to reapply without a mirror but in a colour like this trust me, you need a mirror or you will get an uneven lipline. I never wear this shade straight from the tube the colour slips and smears everywhere. On my chin, coffee cups, cellphone. So I blot after application with a tissue to get a matt stain. Its very pretty this way and stays put.

Toners -Clinique -Clarifying Lotion #2

I have never actually bought this toner before I have this in the sample try me sizes from bonuses & recently a relative gave me some more Bc she didn't want them!
I don't hink 💭 this is a good toner to be using Bc it has so much alcohol in it & stupid menthol which irritates the skin! I personally have a very oily skin type & have only used this toner occasionally to clean up my t zone in between washings & during the day especially in the summer time! I don't think this stuff actually exfoliates anything Bc I has no salicyclic acid in it!
& I love ❤️ the commentary from a reviewer who said Clinique toners are like junk food! LOL!

Cleansers -Clinique -Liquid Facial Soap - Mild

I really love Clinique skincare products Bc they are fragrance free & im very allergic to all perfumed products on my skin! & I have a very oily skin type especially on my t zone! & this face cleanser really works well for me! Though Clinique targets this for normal dry combinations normal skin it's better suited for oily combo skin types Bc I can definitely see this being kinda drying for my parts of my face which are drier Bc as the Paula skin expert lady said it does have a lot of salt listed on top of
The ingredients list!
The thing I love ❤️most about this face cleanser is the clean fresh chamomile scent it has! It reminds me of their discontinued skin texture lotion from years ago when they realized the yellow lotion was not a good choice for oily skin types & this mild version doesn't have menthol like the oily one! & this liquid mild soap is definitely much better than their all their bars of soaps! Seriously who still recommends using bar soap for their faces!

Mascara -Clinique -High Impact Mascara

I've been using this for a while now, repurchased a few times. Very happy with the way it goes on, doesn't clump the lashes, gives natural definition, volume, separation and a bit of length. I'm quite lucky with my lashes in that they don't need much extra help and naturally curl upwards, so I only need a mascara to do a good job at adding colour (I'm naturally blonde so they're usually light if I've not recently dyed them) and just giving some extra 'oomph'. I've also been buying the smaller 3.5 ml version and it's so much nicer to be able to use it up before it dries up! I've actually found that I prefer the formula once I'm about half-way through as at the start it can be just a tad too liquidy for my preference and a tad too clumpy at the end!

Treatments (Face) -Clinique -Turnaround Revitalizing Serum

I have really sensitive skin that is pale (NW 15-20) and I find most treatments for aging are too strong for me. I use a lot of Clinique makeup products mostly because they have no fragrance and they are suitable for sensitive skin.

This is a very good treatment for me for moderately lightening age spots and making my face brighter, and I noticed a smoother surface almost immediately. It's not a miracle, and I only use it once every two days or so, but it really works fast. I do keep it far from my eyes. It's expensive but I have not a found any other anti-aging products that don't irritate my skin or actually work.

Cleansers -Clinique -Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

This is one of my HG cleansers. This balm takes off all my makeup, is gentle on my eyes - even when I scrub it into my lashes, and has been very calming to my red/sensitive skin. It also has a great consistency for face massages.

Oh my god...YES. I have been meaning to pick this up for a while now and could not be happier. I read the other reviews saying that it really does the job, but I was still skeptical. I have tried everything and although some things are good, there is always some trace of eyeliner left (I do love a good tight-liner! but it's brutal to take off)...but not with this! I am seriously amazed. I work this into my face for maybe 60 seconds? Rinse it off, and no trace of eye makeup is left, and my face is completely makeup free. I follow it up with my favourite winter cleanser by La Roche-Posay (Toleriane), and my face feels perfectly cleansed. I am seriously thrilled and this is my new makeup remover. Hats off to Clinique...they nailed it.

My skin is very oily and prone to looking quite lifeless but after using this lotion my skin texture improved a great deal. My skin now looks a lot clearer and more radiant than before. The price is quite expensive yet the bottle is fairly large so its not that bad. Personally i think this is a great product!

Just a boring product trying the copy the looks of Chanel’s Micro Serum; which works much better than this one!

I only just bought this but i can already tell that i absolutely love it! The balm is silky smooth, doesn't have a weird scent to it and is so comfortably to use even on my oily skin. I use it every evening to remove my makeup and at the same time i give myself a little face massage. It's perfect for winter time where the skin can get dry/damaged by the harsh weather, i experience that it actually soothes my blemish prone skin. At little goes a long way and i actually think the price is ok compared to the amount of product you get (mine was filled all the way up to the lid! Not something i experience often with skincare products….) I prefer to do a double cleanse where i use a mild foam cleanser afterwards and it works perfectly like that. The first time i tried the balm i used a cotton pad with Bioderma afterwards to really test if there was any makeup left on the skin, and to my surprise the cotton pad was totally clean!

Overall: A abseloutlely lovely product that will continue to use throughout wintertime and that i most definitely will repurchase when it's empty.

Of all the tiny personal achievements of 2017, one is that I finished this dumb bottle of goo. This product is one of those interesting studies of the intersection of perception of price, packaging, desires and likes.

I first received this as a sample and it was in a little sample squeezey tube. I used a healthy squorch of it before my SPF and foundation in the am as the Clinique counter staff said it acts as a moisturizing primer. I liked it well enough and really felt that it made my skin look great so I bought a bottle.

I'm not sure what I thought I was buying, because I had seen ads for this product and should have known it was 39.50 and packaged in a pump bottle - we all have the internet, obviously. If this were $19.50, packaged in a squeeze tube and marketed as a light moisturizer rather than "hydrating! supercharged! concentrate!" I would be all in on a five lipstick rating. This packaging is ugly and cheap and clunky, the kind of thing that only looks good in an ad with gorgeous lighting. To its credit I was able to extract every last drop without resorting to bottle surgery, but it's so unnecessary.

It isn't sticky, it doesn't smell and it does seem to anchor my makeup a little bit, though it's not like it's one of those silicone super glue putty primers. It's really not bad, it's just not worth this price.

Moisturizers -Clinique -Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator

on 12/9/2017 11:15:00 AM

I purchased the Clinique 72 Hour Auto-Replenishing Moisture Surge Skin Hydrator to compare it to their original Moisture Surge Intense Thirst Relief Gel. Clinique has an entire line of Moisture Surge products such as a serum, mist, moisturizers, CC Creams, eye creams, and masks. The 72 Hour version peaked my interest mostly because I wondered what magic ingredient could they use to make a face moisturizer last through three days of makeup and face washing. I learned that there really wasn't anything that is new or state-of-the-art included other than adding a few well known, but not new, ingredients. For more details my comparison and review can be seen here:

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique -Pep-Start Eye Cream

This is a fine eye cream. It's not too heavy, smells nice, and provides a decent amount of moisture for the whole day. If you have oily skin, but find that concealer looks cakey under the eye, try this (or a similar eye cream). It solved my concealer issues.

My sole issue with this product is the packaging. For the last two weeks, I have had to scoop out product with a q-tip. The tube makes it impossible to get the last 20% of product out, so you're forced to pop off the top and scoop it out.

The stuff melts off my mascara/liner with ease. Use it without water, rub it over your face, massage it in. I like to let it sit on my face for a minute before adding the water. Once u add the water it becomes milky. Rinses off easily. This product does NOT sting my eyes, and works better than any other eye makeup remover. I do follow up with a regular foaming facial cleanser, because I am paranoid about breaking out, but... it's not necessary. The few times I did not do a second cleanse, there were no breakouts. I recommend getting a mini travel size to sample it out first. Once clinique has a gift with purchase, I will get the big size.
-travels well. No spillage, no cotton balls necessary. The mini size is perfect for vacations. I'm very happy with it. :)
