Treatments (Face) -Acure Organics -Seriously Glowing Facial Serum

Wow!! I loveeee this stuff! So I had been looking at buying this product for several years now. I read reviews online, did plenty of research about each individual oil and then one day I saw it for $10 at TJmaxx. I was excited and decided to finally give it a try!
To provide a little background information, my skin is oily/combination and lately I've been struggling with acne on my cheeks and jawline. Last month, after trying out a new vitamin with high levels of biotin, I had been getting cystic acne and still had some remaining marks left over.
So I washed my face and while my skin was still wet I dabbed some on my hand and dotted it all over my face along with a drop of my usual Rose hip seed oil. It feels really nice, not too oily and my skin immediately looks glowy and nourished. As a side note, a little bit goes on a long way! Don't overdo it! The next day I woke up and most of my acne had dried up and my skin looked the best it has in...forever! Last night I applied it, again, on my wet face and woke up this morning to even clearer skin! I am so impressed! To think I was worried about breaking out...this may be the best thing that has happened to my face besides RHSO in a long time! Will definitely buy again and I only wish I had sooner! This is my new Holy Grail face product.

Loose Powders -Maybelline -Master Fix Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder

i really love this setting powder. i use it to set my undereye area and it keeps my concealer in place all day. it doesn’t settle into the creases under my eyes which is amazing. i use it lightly all over my face on days that my skin is oily and it keeps me matte all day. the only drawback is, as everyone has said, the flashback. it is AWFUL. no amount of blending can help. it’s great for every day wear but definitely steer clear of flash photography.

Treatments (Face) -La Roche-Posay -Effaclar Duo (European Version)

I'm French and the doctors' answer to everything acne here is either Avène or La Roche-Posay. I remember hating both as a teenager as they never did anything for my oily, acne-prone skin. But I gave this a shot when I found a tube in a drawer recently, because I was breaking out pretty badly and needed to see if the formula suited me better. Well, it doesn't. Some people here mention a burning sensation; I think it feels a bit strange for an acne treatment, rather rich, but a bit aggressive. It's hard to describe, but applying this on my face is rather unpleasant. It didn't do anything for my breakouts; the day after, they were still as bumpy and inflamed as ever. I admit I stopped using it after that, mostly because I don't like the consistency, but I wouldn't have minded it too much if there had been an overnight improvement, which didn't happen. I understand that this is well-liked by a lot of people, I just feel like there's better treatments out there to clear my acne.

Polishes -OPI -The Sky's My Limit

This polish looks teal in the bottle with a lot of gold. On the nail indoors, it looks like a pretty, shimmery teal. In the sun it's very blue. In fact, it's surprising how blue it gets in the sun.

It's a shimmery, almost foil, polish. It's similar to Zoya Charla, but more blue in the sun.

I wish the gold showed up on the nail, and that it was teal in the sun, but it's still a pretty color. I'll probably wear it on my toes in the summer, with Charla on my fingernails.

Wow this stuff is amazing. After finally realizing that my skin was combination (acne prone on my chin, dry and sensitive and prone to redness everywhere else, especially cheeks) I decided I needed to try something less harsh and more moisturizing on my face. Literally this was the first product I decided to try and for the first time ever the 1st product was a winner! It's reduced my redness soooo much, hasn't broken me out, feels really moisturizing and luxurious on the skin, and has shrunken my pores to sizes I never even thought possible. Seriously, I didn't even notice my enlarged pores cause I had other more pressing problems with my skin I thought, but this really refined everything and made my skin look beautiful. I still have to use a harsher soap only on my chin every few days to make sure my pores don't get clogged but for the rest of my face there is no need which is pretty amazing in and of itself. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

It’s very good. Smooth on skin, great for oily faces. I also like it’s transfer resistance and breathable formula. Great with cover girl lipstick. I like it and I made up my mind to keep it. I would buy again. Not scary.

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild -Bare it All 902C

Not super long lasting but what solid lipstick is? I can wear this for about 4-5 hours without eating before i need to reapply. I’m pale with warm undertones and this looks pretty much exactly like it does in the tube on my lips, a medium tone warm nude. This is my go to lipstick in winter when it’s too dry to wear matte liquid lipsticks.

Brows -Almay -Brow Tint

on 12/8/2017 10:02:00 AM

I was excited about this product because it is a K Beauty trend that was readily available without me having to order it and pay shipping costs. This product comes in four colors ranging from blond to auburn and the packaging is pretty simple. I was also scared to see if it would rip my brows out along with it. I purchased the brown shade. When I opened the package I swatches it on my hand first to see how it would look and it was really dark, but since it is not permanent I decided to go for it. You have to be careful putting it on so that it doesn't get everywhere so go slow and make sure to apply a relatively thick coat. The package says to either peel off with your fingers or use a spookier. The first time I used this I peeled it off with my nails and the second time I used a spoolie brush. The second time worked better in my opinion. It looks really dark as it is drying so don't get scared. When I brushed it off my brows were definitely a bit darker but nothing to write home about. I'd rather just use ,y pencil or brow pomade. I also think 30 minutes is a long time to wait for a product to dry for mediocre results. I will use this product until it's gone since it was around 10 dollars drugstore but I wouldn't repurchase.

Loose Powders -Laura Mercier -Translucent Loose Powder

I bought the travel size of this to try out... 30$ canadian for less than 10 grams of product... umm even if i loved this i couldn’t bring myself to repurchase. It makes my skin look smooth and flawless but that doesn’t last the whole day. It helps control oil... sometimes. If it’s muggy outside or i’m wearing a foundation that doesn’t particularly last great on me, this powder doesn’t help out unlike my Maybelline fit me loose powder.
