I've been using this moisturizer for about 3 months now, both morning and night. Using it through the summer months was a little strange, as I found this moisturizer felt light weight when applying, but it quickly made my combination, acne prone adult skin look oily by midday. The texture was watery feeling, but seemed to sit on top of my skin instead of being absorbed. However, as a PRO, I would say that this moisturizer did NOT seem to add to my breakouts. I'm 31, but hormonal acne is still a major concern for me. It's nice knowing that this moisturizer didn't make matters worse.I don't mind this moisturizer but I definitely don't love it.

Enriched with Vitamin C, this moisturizer is light weight yet very hydrating and is not at all greasy. Packaging is a stand up squeezy tube with a skinny tip dispenser so that you can get all of the product out (yay!) and allows you to squeeze out the perfect amount without wasting any. I find that this spreads very well and therefore only need about a pea sized amount for my entire face. Unlike the eye cream, this moisturizer has a fresh scent that I can tolerate and once absorbed it feels like nothing on the skin. Initially I thought it wasn’t hydrating enough because my skin felt dry to the touch but this leaves my skin well balanced, neither sticky nor dehydrated, rather comfortable. This moisturizer pairs very well with their exfoliating cleanser that shares “BrightenUp!” in the name and I do feel like there is a marked improvement in my skin since using these products. It is less dull and the texture is very smooth. Definitely a new favorite that I will keep in my rotation.Vasanti is a Canadian brand that is cruelty free, sulfate free, paraben free, 98% natural and vegan friendly.

Formulated with 4 peptides, 4 botanicals, and 3 vitamins - whatever that means. All I know is that I love the packaging! It comes in a skinny squeezy tube with a slanted ceramic tip with a small hole in it that dispenses the eye cream and spreads it along the under eye area smoothly with a nice cool feeling. This is much better than the jar style packaging that most eye creams come in although that doesn’t deter me from purchasing them, I just prefer this packaging so much more. The eye cream is neither too thin nor too thick and absorbs into my skin. I like that this is undetectable on the skin does not impact wear time of makeup. I’m not keen on the scent, thankfully it doesn’t linger but it honestly may prevent me from repurchasing in future. I wish I could use use the tube and fill it with eye creams I like better because the packaging is hands down the best!Overall rating should be 4.5 with half a lippie off for the scent but that might just be my personal preference so I’m leaving it at a 5.Vasanti is a Canadian brand that is cruelty free, sulfate free, paraben free, 98% natural and vegan friendly.

I love this cream and the toner and masks from this line, because they really helped clear and heal my nasty persistent hormonal acne. After 20+ years of hormonal therapy, I finally had to stop because of my age, which makes it risky to continue, and as soon as I did, my chin and T-zone became infested with festering white heads and cystic acne that just kept coming up over and over, more and more frequently. I’ve tried so many different treatments and finally stumbled on to this from a recommendation from a fellow European YouTuber, Ali Andrea, who has a skin type very similar to mine. She claimed that the esthetician at BR helped her to clear up her skin, so I did some research and found a salon here in Japan that uses their products. I was a little disappointed, tbh, when I realized that their facial did not include extractions and the stench of the products is really off-putting. But the next day my acne was subdued, as if by magic, and not only did it start clearing up, but after one month of continuous use I am acne-free once again. This cream is very soothing, not heavy at all, and it does hydrate while mattifying, which is truly weird. It does stink to high heaven, so I never use it in the day time, unless I am trying to get more space on the subway. ;-) It’s pricy, but the product goes a long, long way. Unlike the other reviewers I do not hate the scent, because the results have been more than worth it for me. And frankly I’d rather have a product that works and has less nasties in it, than an expensive perfumed cream that doesn’t do much. Already repurchased a second jar from Vienna, where it’s cheaper than Asia.

I got a pack of 3 in duty-free of the “Smudge-Proof” version. I was curious to try it because I love the Hypnose Drama and Doll Eyes from this brand, so I was curious to try something I hadn’t before. Compared to those other two, the Grandiose is just okay. It builds decent length and volume, but not enough to warrant that price tag. My HG drugstore mascaras (Pupa Vamp and Bourjois Max Volume) do a FAR, FAR better job in both of those departments. The color is a nice, rich satisfying black. Smudge-proof?! I beg to differ. While the smudging is not extreme, it’s still there, enough to contradict that label. I like the wand, and the different positions I can hold it to get to the root of the lashes and the inner corner. That wand is indeed a great concept and the size is perfect to give place to maneuver and manicure your lashes. But the end result is not as impressive as other mascaras from Lancôme or other brands, so I wouldn’t repurchase.

The packaging is lovely and I don’t dislike the rose scent but that’s as far as I would go in complimenting this lipstick.I bought it in shade number 10 which is a beautiful colour but the consistency on the lips is just awful. It settles immediately into any creases on my lips and just feels so heavy like the horrible cheap lipsticks I used to buy when I first started experimenting with makeup when I was 12. I’ve attempted to wear this lipstick on 3 occasions now and every time I’ve taken it off after 5 minutes because of how conscious I am of it on my lips. For such an expensive lipstick I expected so much more. So disappointing.

So I was walking around Sephora just browsing when I asked the sales lady to help me pick out my color from Fenty Beauty (btw I never considered this product coz I hate rihanna). Once the lady finished blending out the foundation she asked me to look in the mirror and we both said WOW! at the same time. Everyone looked at me and stared coz IT WAS FLAWLESS!!!! I cannot emphasize enough how well it blended with my skin without primer or setting powder!! AND IT LASTED HOURS!! I'm surprised at all the negative reviews but I guess different ppl have different skin right. Btw I'm oily combination. NONE of the other higher end foundations had such amazing finish. Not Bobbi brown, not Estee Lauder, not shu uemura. NONE OF THEM. I'm sooooo happy coz this was just a chance encounter coz I was bored. Definitely will repurchase.

overall: 8.5/10This primer really does hold my makeup down. I believe they are trying to dupe the Smashbox primer with the way the packaging looks, however this product is nothing like the Smashbox primer. It is a runny, white lotion reminiscent of sunscreen. It contains some 'cones and also talc. If you have dry skin you will likely find this drying. It's super cheap. I would purchase it again.

Not a good experience! I tried a small sample size of this and immediately it left my face feeling tight and uncomfortable, not in a 'reaction' sense but that it was just too harsh and drying. I used a few times and gave up on it, but even in that time I could not discern any visible difference whatsoever to pores or hormonal blemishes. The oiliness on my t-zone did subside initially but then by mid afternoon it would return with a vengeance - no surprise there, the sebaceous glands were probably overcompensating for all the sebum stripped out of my skin. Mild cleansers are definitely the way forward for oily skin from my experience. I used bareminerals as a Teenager but then I discovered YouTube tutorials and as everyone used liquid foundations I thought that is the way to go. I spent $$$$$ on pretty much every hyped foundation, primer and powder but nothing was what I want from my face makeup. I am now back to my bareminerals loose powders and wonder why ever stopped using it? About my skin: Nc10, 27 with no fine lines just some under my eyes, very oily tzone and normal cheeks, large pores on the forehead and around the nose and very large deep pores on my nostrils, I dont break out usually but I have a bit of redness and some scars in my chin from my teenage years. I use the original in fairly light (but the original is not the best for large pores) and the matte in fair and fairly light mixed. The matte foundation does have a very nice satin matte finish on me. Never flat or dry and Iit does sit very nice over my pores. I dont think anything will keep an oily skin matte for a whole day but this stays matte for a good time and most important it fades nice. I just blot the oils away and buff over everything again with my brush when I touch up. I can add a layer on top and I does not cake but I like to mix a bit of foundation with Mineral veil in a smal Container (I use a empty bareminerals bisque container) when I want to touch up the coverage to sheer the product out a bit.I think key is a good skincare. Mineral foundation always shows me when I was lazy! You have to keep your skin hydrated and use a peeling when needed. For primer I prefer water based primers or just a bit mineral veil powder under and over the foundation. My foundation slides of pretty quick with heavy silicone primers. Dry skin could benefit from an face oil or an oily primer as minerals work best with a bit of oil. Oily Girls and Boys will get that look during the day. I think the foundation Looks best after about 30 minutes on me and it does continue to Look better and better. For concealer I like to use bisque or the original foundation. Liquid concealer should be used bevor the powders. But I have used liquid highlighters or Blush over the foundation and it looked nice. You can use a finishing spray bevor using creams over your minerals. For tools you have to find something that does not give you microexfoliation. You have to build and buff the foundation. Just use a tiny amount at a time, swirl your brush 10-15 seconds, tap off and then buff it on your skin. Dont press the brush hard on your skin be very gentle. I use tapping and stroking motions when I have flakes on my skin (just make sure you swirl your brush long in the product to warm it up bc. the minerals change from powder to a much more creamy product when they are warmed up). For best coverage use a dense brush. I like the Baby flat top Kabuki from everyday minerals or the angled flat top Kabuki from zoeva, bareminerals has nice brushes. I think a natural Hair brush works best with mineral foundation as it warms the product up faster but synthetic brushes are softer just look what works best for you.But a powder puff or sponge can work to!!! I like the flocked sponge from Lily Lolo (I think you can find something similar in every drugstore). I sometimes use a damp brush/sponge with my foundation as a concealer. I would recommend to set everything. The bareminerals original mineral veil is nice. But any powder will work.. matte or luminous whatever you prefer. I dont use finishing sprays on my oily skin as I get a bit more time bevor I have to blot my skin without but I like fixing sprays (the one in the silver can from cover fx that is for very strong hold is nice as it is alcohol free). Dry skin might enjoy a finishing spray like mac fix plus or even a thermal water spray. Dont be affraid of mixing your powders! I mix it with powder to sheer it out, with luminous powders to make it glowy, with powder colour correctors or even with moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer with Spf.Just play and try different techniques and tools. Mineral foundation does work a bit different than powder foundations. If you want full coverage I highly recommend you to get yourself bisque and layer it just where needed under and over your foundation. I hope this is helps a bit and I am sorry for my english it is not my first language.
