Makeup Brushes -EcoTools -On-The-Go Style Brush Kit (4 Brushes)

on 4/24/2019 10:26:00 PM

I have always LOVED Ecotools, and whenever I buy makeup brushes from a drugstore I always gravitate toward this brand! I love how the brushes are a beige and then fade up to a brown colour, and just how "earthy" they look! This kit I bought at Walwart, for a great price of just $10 for 4 brushes. It includes a:
1.complexion blending brush (which I use to apply my bronzer)
2.multitasking brush (which is use to apply my powder) I have to add, this brush was so awesome that I actually replaced my very expensive Merle Norman powder brush with this EcoTools multitasking brush!
3.Micro crease brush (I apply eyeshadow with this, but this also great for applying highlight to the tip of your nose)
4. Angled liner brush (I apply my automatic maybelline eye pencil in espresso, then use this brush to apply MAC's "embark" eyeshadow which is a deep, dark brown and sets my eyeliner for ALL day wear, with such PRECISION)
All in all, these makeup brushes are WELL worth the money, and I would honestly pay $10 for just the multitasking brush alone! I would highly recommend. Plus it comes in cute green zip up clutch for on the go and keeping up with your brushes!

Mascara -MAC Cosmetics -False Lashes Extreme Black

I dont own a lot of MAC products but I know everyone likes them. Because of that I was a little disappointed. It was a decent mascara but nothing special. I have naturally long lashes and this kinda weighed them down. I will say I liked the packaging. It's one of those mascaras that makes the thick luxurious sound when you pull the wand out...is that weird?? Its strangely satisfying....

This blush got such a high review I had to try it. When I first put it on I was disappointed because it's a coral based color. I'm pale with redness and anything orange is a no go for me BUT this grew on me..its got a shiny-ness to it that is very flattering and down plays the coral notes...

Masks -Mizon -Joyful Time Rose Sheet Mask - Pore Care & Moisturizing

Meh.

Nice sheet mask but nothing special. Reasonably priced, pleasant rose scent. My skin was adequately moisturized after using this, although it was a bit sticky for quite some time. I didn't notice a difference in the appearance of my pores, which was a bit disappointing.

My favorite sheet mask to date has been the TonyMoly Rice Sheet Mask, it really seems to moisturize but also heal any acne and make my skintone much clearer and more even.

Not bad, but I probably won't repurchase.

Primer/ Corrector -wet n wild -Photo Focus Primer Sticks - All 3

The matte primer stick is just as good if not better than the Milk Blur Stick. I have all three of the primer sticks which includes the matte stick, hydrating stick, and the luminous one. I'll review all three:

The Matte Stick: Now that it's about to be summer where I live I'm stocking up on mattifying products so the heat doesn't melt off my makeup. This stick is awesome for foundation. I can even use this by itself so I don't get super shiny. I recommend it because it's affordable and I have the Milk Blur Stick and this works even better. It doesn't feel slippery and when you apply your foundation it doesn't slide all over the place.

The Hydrating Stick: This was more sticky than I expected. Not a feeling of hydration but then I put my matte foundation on top of it and it gripped the heck out of it. My makeup lasted longer. I still got oily but my foundation wasn't completely gone. I still don't know how to feel about it because it's way too tacky. I recommend it if you have dry skin but I'd rather use this in the winter than the summer. I prefer the matte stick.

The Luminous Stick: I recommend for dry skin!! It has shimmer in it and a dewy finish but after you cover it up with foundation it makes your makeup look glowy. It's a little too "luminous" for my oily skin because I prefer a mattifying finish but this would look pretty on someone with dry, dull skin.

These sticks are like the drugstore versions of the Milk sticks. I recommend them because they're affordable and they do work nicely. I mostly recommend the matte stick and the luminous one.
