The label says Scar Gel but this needs to be relabeled as Holy Grail Healing Moisturizer for sensitive skin/acne-prone/oily skin.I have searched far and wide with 3 shoe boxes full of abandoned moisturizers because my skin reacts badly from 19 different oils and silicones. My skin loves watermelon seed oil but hates every other oil. I finally settled with this and it's healing up my skin well. Before this Scar Gel, I used to use Cerave in a tub for my moisturizer but I realized that the coconut derivative like ceateryl alcohol was giving me blakheads and more sebaceous filaments. I had to stop that and I noticed a significant change when I started treating this gel as a moisturizer. It has a pleasant gel like consistency without leaving a sticky residue. It has a fresh cooling effect most likely from the panthenol. My skin feels really calm and soothed everytime I put this on. For my dry skin friends out there, you would need something more moisturizing than this. This gel is mostly composed with humectants (glycerin) and 1 soothing occlusive (allantoin) which is ideal of normal, oily, sensitive and acne-prone types.I suffer from PIE (post inflammatory erythema) and rolling scars so I need a moisturizer that has soothing actives. This gel has 3 actives that are soothing and healing - panthenol, allantoin (keratolytic effect) and onion extract. If you want to know more, you can always search these ingredients on google then type "skin ncbi" to view academic peer reviewed articles. This is just a nice way to know and understand how these actives work as valid confirmation. I use this in conjunction with mildly irritating actives like retinoids and AHA to treat my scarring. As well as a monthly 30% Glycolic Peel. My atrophic scarring are significantly better when I use these in combination. Most likely it would take another few months for the texturing to be completely gone but I am very happy with the results. By itself, I doubt that this gel will soften scarring or it would just take a very long time to see results. Combination therapy always yields the best results when it comes to reversing deeper types of damage. This "moisturizer" could benefit people who suffer from acne and other types of inflammation because the ingredient list are composed of bland and basic ingredients (Aweeeesssomme). While providing 3 soothing actives that won't cause irritation. Highly recommended! Will raise hell if they change the formulation or go back to the original or discontinue it. I just wish it comes in a squeezable tube or pump instead of the damn unsanitary cosmetic jar. That's my only con otherwise HG material here folks!EDIT: OH this review is for the new formula without the essential oils. (Much better IMHO)

I love this product. I have bag and naturally red eyelids/under eyes that are worse with stress, dehydration, too much salt, poor sleep. A drop of this below each eye helps the puffiness go away. If I'm still puffy after an hour, I'll try a second drop on my finger, patting below each eye. I do not find that it dries out my eye area (and I have very dry skin), causes flakiness, tightness, etc. I do not use it on my eyelid, just under the eyes. I feel like it's possible that I use less concealer than I used to. Have been using this for about a month. I plan to keep buying and using it.

I've been using this in conjunction with the Vitamin C 23% with HA, and I'm not sure which does the "work", but I've noticed definite tone changes and whereas in early spring I felt like my skin was beginning to show its age, now I feel like I have subtracted 10 years from my complexion. I'm interested in trying their straight HA, so I don't know if I'd definitely repurchase or not, but I'm happy to have found the Ordinary.

Smells absolutely awful to me, I despise the scent so much. Despite that this BHA moisturizer works. I apply a generous amount to my face about 2 nights a week and it helps keep my acne at bay and leaves my skin soft and not dried out at all. Great product for people with oily/acne prone skin that can be sensitive. Will repurchase.

This product is high up on my top favorite self tanners list. Some basics as an fyi: I always apply at night an hour or so before bed. I shower and exfoliate first if I am applying on my natural fair skin, but no exfoliating if adding another layer to already "tanned" skin (unless i need to bring down darker areas, like aroubd my ankles or elbows). I wait 24 hours after shaving to do my legs. I use a mitt over disposable latex gloves. I use a separate tanner for my face than body. I add body lotion to elbows, ankles, heels before and after application. I start with my legs and work up in sections. I try to add extra to my shoulders and chest because thats where i would naturally get more sun. Ok: onto Skinerals Californium! It is a mousse, with a pump bottle. It comes out greenish, but doesn't have a real color guard. Since my skin is quite fair I can pretty much see where I've applied it because it leaves a slightly greenish cast. It doesn't dry very fast, compared to other self tanners, and stays a little bit sticky in hot weather (90 F & up) That's the only downside i experience. It smells like maple syrup on application and the next 4-5 hours. There is a bit of self tanner/dha smell when I wake up in the morning, but not too strong. I prefer the maple syrup smell to the coconut/tropical in other tanners. The color is natural. My skin feels soft and smooth, and not dried out (some dry out my skin). Price is $25 on Amazon. One bottle lasts for a few full body tans, maybe 5 to 7? To sum up: great color, easy application with mitt, no streaks, smells okay, lasts a few days, price okay. Also, has great ratings on Amazon.

This is an odd product that has now been discontinued. It comes in a very small tin (the lipbalm tins) and is a solid oil type product. It's a bit difficult to apply and will make your hair hard if you overapply. If applied correctly (a small amount to damp ends) it softens and adds a lot of shine to dry coarse areas. Would repurchase if it was not discontinued.

I love Lano products, but the white cast in this one is a deal breaker for me. Doesn't matter how thinly I apply it I get this weird, ashy look on my lips. And I don't like the fact that this lip balm has weird little sparse sparkles in it. I don't have a problem with glitter but it's such a small amount it gives me this look like I didn't clean my lips well enough after I wore a glittery lipstick and then topped it with a white-ish gloss. However, it smells amazing. I've been looking for a banana lip balm for ages and this one certainly delivers. It smells like banana cream pie! Because it's Lanolips and it's enriched with lanolin so it really delivers really nice moisture. It's lighter in texture than the 101 ointment lip balms (the Strawberry or Coconutter) so it's nice. But this just isn't for me. Maybe lighter skin tones will enjoy this more than me. I would not repurchase it. But I would love it if Lano created a clear banana lip balm.

This is okay but it does smudge a little bit during the day. Brush is nice, formula is clump free, volume is good, length isn't as good as some others. Would not repurchase this due to smudgin, lack of length and high price tag for something that is not perfect or even as good as some cheaper alternatives.

This is my review for the Strawberry multi-balm.Likes:-It smells so yummy! It's a soft, strawberry candy sort of smell.-It's very rich and hydrating. It cocoons the lips in a hydrating layer of moisture.-It hydrates deeply. When it wears off my lips are still hydrated, plumped with moisture and smoothDislikes:-It takes a bit of warming up during the winter. I usually massage the tube to get the product flowing.Other details:It retails for $19CAD and is only sold at Sephora. The product comes with about 10grams of product. The product is absolutely clear.I would repurchase this product and I've repurchased it twice! It's my favourite winter lip balm. I'm interested in trying out the Peach and the Coconutter flavour!

Tarte calls this a daily moisturizer that illuminates. Stating that you can wear it alone or under makeup for a smooth radiant glow. I found this product WAY too sparkly to wear alone and under makeup it just made my makeup slide right off my face. Definitely does not work for me as a moisturizer. Would not repurchase.
