Absolutely love this, I swear by this for hydration. My mom and sister love it too. I always keep a stock of them now and use them weekly. I wear them while I fall asleep and wake up glowing. Even my husband said so — without my prompting!

I tried this because an acquaintance swears by it, but for me it's a nightmare. I get that it's popular because it's nice and thick and gives a really plush glassy shine, but on the flip side, this "my fingertips look like Venetian glass" effect requires the topcoat to be thick, and that is what makes this coat so awful for me, despite that obvious benefit. For starters, the formula is so gloopy and thick, that it takes FOREVER to dry. And I really do mean forever. When I give myself manicures, it's usually around 3 hours before bedtime. I go to bed feeling satisfied and great with the way my nails look, and three hours should be enough for the nail polish to be dry, right? But then why do I wake up time with the pillowcase fabric stamped into my nails? This never happens with any other topcoat I use, with any polish ever. The only solution is to cover the marks with more topcoat, but that's like borrowing money from a loan shark to repay a bank loan: it's a terrible idea, and it only makes the problem worse. But then for being such a slow dryer, it manages to start setting EXTREMELY fast. Because the formula is so thick, I have to assiduously remove extra polish from the brush, which causes the brush to stick to the polish and drag on the nail when you apply, which actually sometimes results in a previously applied coat COMING OFF and dissolving into the top coat. And since it has almost NO self-leveling function I end up with not just ridges but bumps and DIMPLES in my manicure when I use this, especially on my right hand where I have trouble with application in the first place. If I try to leave just a little more polish on the nail, to prevent this, I more than not end up depositing a giant glob on the nail that not only floods my cuticles (resulting in that unsightly cuticle-ridge, assuming I manage to fix this and don't have to redo the entire nail over from scratch), but often the entire tip of the finger, dissolving the nail color and taking it into the neighboring skin. Like, I know everything about manicures takes practice, especially judging the amount of polish on the brush at any given time, but this is ridiculous, especially as I've been giving myself manicures for years and I've never had this much trouble with any nail varnish, whether color or top or base coat.So yeah, thick topcoats suck. Like I said, this does give a lovely glassy finish if you manage to use it correctly (though the shine isn't particularly long-lasting, I've found... it gets dull SURPRISINGLY fast for something with a finish like that) and if you prefer to work with thick formulas, it may be more of a positive for you than a minus. But as for me, nuh uh. I'd rather forego topcoat entirely than use this, thank you.

If you have seriously dry hair then this could be the shampoo for you. After years of dyeing my hair it was so dry at the ends and no matter how much oil, serum, etc etc I put in it still was a mess. I was introduced to this product by a friend and immediately went out and bought myself one after using it once. I bought it for my mother as well and she adores it too. It works wonderfully with the conditioner and, even better, its not as expensive as some other premium shampoos. I got it in a set with the argan treatment oil and I don't even need to use the oil most days as the shampoo and conditioner are moisturising enough. I could see that this wouldn't work for everyone but if you have dry thin hair then it could be worth a shot.

Not my favorite. It does a decent job at preventing any colors above from staining the nail bed, and is also fairly quick-drying. It also doesn't leave behind a tint in the nail, unlike Orly Glosser (and many will prefer the CND product for that reason). But otherwise I've found this product doesn't noticeably improve the longevity of a manicure, and it just feels like an extra coat of polish. Not worth the fuss.

Beautiful warm palette which can be used to create neutral or dramatic looks. Shadows are buttery smooth, pigmented, and last all day. These shadows are no different than my MAC or ABH shadows. Given the number of shadows you get in this palette, the $16 price tag is amazing. It's small so great for travel too.

My favorite base coat so far, especially as it really does seem to make manicures last longer and prevent nail color from staining the nail... and the colors I favor are bright reds, vampy reds, and dark-almost-blacks, so this is saying something. I used to get really bad stains in my nails whenever I wore nail color, but this seems to keep it almost entirely at bay. However, the orange staining from the base coat itself, that other people here have mentioned, is definitely there. I’m lucky, though, in that that isn't a problem for me: my nails have a perpetual blue tint in the nail bed that almost looks like cyanosis (but it's not, they're like that even directly after an intense workout) and this actually corrects for some of that, especially if I use a light sheer "My Nails But Better" kind of polish over them.As for weakening the nails, I guess I haven't used this long enough to be a good judge of that. I will say, however, that after using this base coat for about a month, I'm actually able to have long-ish nails for the first time in my life... and the nails are even LESS prone to chipping and splitting and flaking than they used to be. This is the case even though I do a fair bit of cooking and cleaning and washing up at home, and often dispense with gloves out of laziness. I guess that might just be because I've been more aware of my nails since I've started giving myself regular manicures, and started using my hands in a way as to stress the nails less. I've also been applying cuticle oil regularly, which I didn't really do before. But I also think having to remove my polish less (because the manicure isn't getting destroyed on a regular basis, just wearing down a bit so touch-ups are all that's needed) and therefore having to handle acetone less frequently is also helping the strength of my nails a lot. I can go longer without having to expose my nails to the harsh chemicals, and that’s partly thanks to this base coat. I've noticed especially with Bonder that there isn't even a need to "strip" the nails with alcohol or acetone before applying the polish. I simply wipe off any residual oils with a cotton towel or a buffing cloth, and I believe this is also what helps my nails stay strong and flexible and flake-free from the inside out.

I received a deluxe sample of this concealer in medium beige from Ulta and absolutely fell in love! For the last year or so, I have been using NARS RCC in Macademia. I know some people are not fond of the packaging (brush at the end) but it hasn't been a major issue for me. Given that the concealer is less than $5, I think the packaging is great.I have combo/dry skin. I apply moisturizer, then use a wet BB to apply this concealer. I set it with LM Translucent powder (also using my wet BB). This lasts an entire day without issues. In fact, I haven't seen much difference between this and the NARS RCC. It's full coverage and does not get dry.I ordered a few other shades to try as highlight/contour and can't wait to get them from Ulta. But as mentioned earlier, given how cheap these are, anyone looking for a full-coverage creamy concealer should this a try.
