Fragrances -Van Cleef & Arpels - Bois d'Iris

Bois d'Iris was launched in 2009 as part of Van Cleef & Arpels' "Collection Extraordinaire". As the name suggests, this fragrance can be summed up as a woody iris which, whilst true, does not do it any justice.
When I first tried it, while sampling the rest of the collection, I thought of it as quite a weak scent. It was only when I moved out of Harrods and into the open air that I kept catching whiffs of something heartbreakingly beautiful, fragile and strong at the same time, as if carried continued >>

Mascara -Maybelline - Full and Soft Mascara

As its name promised, this mascara leaves my lashes full and soft. It's great for natural look or for touch ups, but it will take forever if you want your lashes to be more dramatic. It doesn't clump and it's easy to wash off. It's affordable, too! No complaints :)

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady

Only one location of Walmart in the area where I lived had the PhotoReady liquid foundation, and they only had it in 3 colours: 003 shell, 006, and 008. Plus there was no testers on display. I am an NC25 (or 118 for MUFE HD, sand beige for Revlon Colorstay) and so I decided to try the shell since there really wasn't any choice, plus the 003 looked about the same shade in the bottle as my skin. In fact, when in the bottle it looks only slightly lighter than my MUFE HD 118... but out of the bottle continued >>
