Kind of embarrassing topic, but ladies with upper lip hair: I haz a question...?

I have dark upper lip hair, and after multiple fails with hair removal products and waxing, I had settled on using a small electric trimmer to tame it. Unfortunately, the past couple of months I have been breaking out like MAD on my upper lip. It's probably from my trimmer, which I do clean after each use, but I think the irritation from sliding it on my skin is what's doing it. At the same time, I cannot stand leaving my 'stach the way it is cause it's so dark. Anyone have any advice?

I shave mine once a week in the shower. I find this method does not cause any irritation.MYCATSHADOW7/30/2012 11:23PM

How long does the hair have to be to thread it? As long as for waxing?Neume7/29/2012 12:32PM

Nope, even shorter than hair for waxing. It takes out 99% of the hairs. It hurts a bit more though.bijoux277/29/2012 12:37PM

Thanks! I'll look into it!Neume7/29/2012 2:48PM
