Q: Where is my email to activate my registration?
A: Please check your junk/spam folder as some mail servers filter MUA messages as junk mail. If you find it, click the link within to activate your account. After you've clicked, you will be prompted to select a username and password. Note: passwords are case sensitive.
Second, let's try to get our emails accepted by your email program, in case you ever need to change your password at a later time. You can circumvent your email program's spam filter by using a process called whitelisting. Here are some instructions, just choose your provider from the list at http://www.whatcounts.com/how-to-whitelist-emails
Please allow these email addresses: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are unable to locate the email with the activation link, please Contact Us directly for support.
Q: How do I upload pictures from my phone?
You can upload photos in jpg, gif or png format from the mobile version of the MakeupAlley site (not from the App at this time). Log into MakeupAlley.com from the browser on your mobile device. Click on the menu icon and then click on Upload Pictures.
Q: How do I post links to my personal blog?
A: To keep the quality of product reviews and message board posts relevant and valuable, we ask that you DO NOT post any links to personal blogs, websites, YouTube channels or social media outlets except as follows:
You may post links to your personal blog, YouTube channel or social media accounts in the "About Me" section at My Profile.
You may also post links to relevant YouTube videos when writing a product review. You can find instructions on how to do this when you select "Write a Review" for a given product.
We ask that you steer clear of self promotion, selling or soliciting. Reviews and postings of this nature are subject to flagging and may be removed without notice.
Q: How do I change my password?

Q: How do I change my username?
A: Please Contact Us directly to request a username change. Select My Account/Login as the contact reason and provide your top 3 new username options in the message body.
Please note that usernames can only be changed once.
Q: How do I log out of Makeup Alley?
A: Click the down arrow to the right of your username, and then click on "Logout".
