This stuff is great! I've had trouble with acne my whole life until recently, when I decided to take my skin's hydration and exfoliation needs more seriously and educate myself about stuff like trans epidermal water loss and such (as many people with acne-prone oily skin often do, I was skipping hydration, trying weird topical treatments that eventually were giving me dry patches and so on). To cut a long story short I started religiously doing the double cleansing method and afterwards using a ceramide moisturizer, sunscreen, a retinol cream -in my nighttime routine- ,and noticed that all these did make a difference. However, I was still getting the occasional stubborn pimple/pimples once or twice a month (and I almost always got tempted to squeeze it which of course only made things worse), so I kept looking for an effective antibacterial treatment product. I couldn't find a benzoyl peroxide cream here in Greece, so I ordered it in ebay - and actually paid double the price because of shipment. Still, it's so worth it that I will definitely do it again when I run out. I use a tiny amount of product topically once or twice a day when I get a pimple and it has worked wonders. I haven't got any irritation so far. The most nerve-wrecking thing with all that lifelong "battle" against acne is the feeling that even when I put a lot of effort in taking care of my skin these little demons pop up and make it feel a bit futile. This product did gave me an adequate answer to that!

I have combination skin on my face, large pores and am prone to cystic acne on my forehead. This cleanser has an odd glue scent to it. It is a very effective cleaner, removing my makeup and sunscreen with ease. This does leave my skin feeling dry. Overall, I think this is a good, afforadable daily cleanser for combination to oily skin types. But for acne treatment, using it on its own, I do not find it to be an effective acne fighter. Combining this cleanser along with a benzoyl peroxide cream is a great combination for me to treat acne prone skin.

I thought this would be a holy grail last minute pimple remover, but it's not. It has basic instructions and seemed like it would work well. Then when i woke up the next day The pimples were gone, but the area where I applied the product was very red and irritated and it hurt to touch that area (my chin), and I started to break out even more in that area. So, in conclusion it works and then screws you over.

I bought this when it was only about 5 bucks. At first I didn't 'feel' it working..WELL this is the most gentle cleanser yet effective. It did not dry out my skin. It didn't make me skin peel like most acne cleansers. After a few weeks, I saw my skin not as red. Then a few more weeks, my skin didn't have active pimples anymore. I know it's this cleanser because it was the only thing I changed in my skincare routine. It's very very gentle. It is a thick gel, but lathers up beautifully. I recommend this to everyone who's dealing with acne. I had moderate-severe acne where my whole face was red and had so many pimples...and this stuff calmed it down a lot. Follow it with the Zapzyt acne cream treatment and, VOILA. No..not sponsored. Just a satisfied person who used this stuff since it was so affordable. Unfortunately, my Walmart doesn't sell the cleanser anymore..

I got "Zapzyt adult acne clearing gel salicylic acid acne medication Soothing aloe & natural Botanicals" version.Clear gel with small pointed tube, it is easy to apply however it has sticky feel to it so, I only can use at night time. Good part is, it does neither sting nor irritated my skin but it didn’t work well to shrink pimples or keep my pimple at bay.
