Eyes -Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics -Lash Primer

on 10/28/2018 2:09:00 PM

This lash primer is one of my favorites. It goes on smoothly on every lash. Put on your favorite mascara after (mine, either mac bad lash or jordana lash) and bam your eyes pop! Love this stuff its like eye crack lol.. I have straight lashes but leaves my lashes curled all day and no smudges. A must try...

Powder -Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics -Loose Natural Mineral Foundation

on 9/10/2018 1:19:00 PM

This foundation gives a decent coverage - I'd say medium but buildable. The colors are a bit darker than I would have thought. Guessing by the online colorscheme I would have placed myself at barely beige - but that was waaaay to dark. Ivory is my jam. For all you alabaster light skinned girls or boys out there - this is probably a tad to dark for you. I'm a fairly light in bareminerals and NC 15 in MAC.
I bought this because I have extremely sensitive skin and I'm changing all my makeup to delicate, sensitive friendly makeup. This means brands as youngblood (only the foundation), Miild (for everything else face), Naturligolie and Løwen. So far it's going well. Haven't had too many breakouts and a fair amount LESS than when I was using bareminerals foundation!

For comparison I have combination, sensitive skin and it stays put all the work day without a primer.

Comparable color to: Bareminerals fairly light, MAC NC15
Coverage: Medium but buildable
Price: A tad expensive

Cons: Doesn't have a shifter (not very easy to take travelling), price.

Concealers -Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics -Ultimate concealer

on 2/18/2018 2:53:00 PM

I've been using this young blood concealer for 4+ years, I have creppy under eye skin, it does not crepe into creases if I go easy with it. The coverage is excellent, it spreads very well, it is light reflective and photographs very well. I have it in the shades light and medium. It is long lasting, i've tried lots of other concealers when I'm swayed by advertising etc and they end up going into the back of my make up drawer and this comes back out again. I have rosacea and am prone to pimples with lots of products but have never been affected by any of the young blood products. I use it under my eyes, either side of my nose and spread to corners of my mouth and on my chin, I also use it as a highlighter over my brows and down centre of my nose, I don't use foundation. If I'm going out i'll set it with a little cornflower from youngblood if I think of it.

Liquid -Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics -Liquid Mineral Foundation

The foundation is so light, it feels like I am wearing no makeup at all! I have the shade Sun Kissed (neutral) which is a PERFECT match for my light skin. This liquid formula is probably best for those with dry skin - I tried the compact formula and it made my skin look very cakey. The liquid foundation however makes my skin glow.

How I put on my foundation:

♡ Use half a pump, put on fingertips
♡ Start from the centre of the face and work my way out
♡ Tap my face with my fingers, it lasts a lot longer and looks less shiny that way (also apparently a Russian tip for applying foundation)
♡ Blot if necessary

Blush -Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics -Luminous Cream Blush

on 8/31/2017 7:50:00 PM

I'm not really a blush person, but I've always heard raves about cream blushes so I wanted to give it a try. I decided to buy a blush from one of my favorite makeup brands, Youngblood. I bought this blush in taffeta. It's like a bubble gum pink color. I had picked this color based on my Google searches of the variety favorites and taffeta was popular. At first it would be too bright but it actually isn't. It compliments my olive tan skin tone perfectly. At first I'll have to admit the first time applying a cream blush I tried different techniques such as my fingers and different kinds of makeup blushes. I found using a buffer brush worked best. I used the Morph E6 brush. I applied it to my apples of my checks towards my temples. I just had to dab it on the cream blush and patted it on my checks and blend it through. Surprisingly the color stayed all day even after the gym sweating. I like it and it is a bit pricey for a blush but I think I'd purchase it again.
