Highlighters -wet n wild -MegaGlo Highlighting Powder - Precious Petals

This highlighter is absolutely amazing. It's seriously the best powder highlighter I've ever tried. For years before trying this, Becca powder highlighter in champagne pop was my holy grail powder highlighter, but it's been bested by a highlighter that costs a couple bucks! Precious Petals is actually quite similar to Becca Champagne Pop in all regards, the color, finish, and pigmented, but there are some differences, and those differences are why I prefer this.

Let's start with the shade-this is about a shade darker than Champagne Pop and more beige and rosy as well. C-pop is very peachy, a golden sort of peachy. Precious Petals really is similar, but more natural looking. I'm about nc15 (leaning more towards neutral) and this isn't too dark for me at all. It's actually the perfect shade. C-pop has the tendency to look garish on me if I accidentally over-apply.

The finish-amazeballs!! This is THE perfect powder highlighter for that dewy wet look! I'm overjoyed becase I *love* that look (I hate powder highlighter that actually looks powdery) but find actual liquid highlighters a bit tedious to work with, especially when I'm crunched for time. Despite what it looks like in the pan, it's not the slightest bit glittery, just the most gorgeous wet, dewy sheen.

Pigmentation-not sure if this is the right word here, maybe the word I'm looking for is opacity? Anyway, this is very pigmented and opaque, but not as much as C-pop which can be easy to accidentally overdo. Precious Petals is much easier to work with. That being said, I still recommend applying this with a duo-fiber brush and lightly tapping it on, then blend by gently swirling the brush over it. Sounds finicky, I know, but this really is quick and easy to work with.

Even the packaging is super pretty! And it's cruelty free. All in all, I can't think of a single negative to this. I can't wait to try some of the other shades!

Mascara -wet n wild -Mega Plump Mascara

This mascara really didn't work for me. It's not a terrible mascara, it just doesn't meet my needs, and the name is a total misnomer. This did not give me any length and I only got a tiny bit of volume when I used three generous coats. I'm usually a three coat girl anyway, but the formula of this mascara is very dry so not a lot of mascara gets on your lashes with one swipe so applying this mascara can be really tedious and takes a while, it's harder to work with in that respect than any mascara I tried except maybe Mabelline Great Lash. On the plus side, the smallish brush combined with the very dry formula means it never makes a mess on your lids. I have pretty long lashes so that's normally a big problem for me. It also goes on very cleanly, I've never experienced clumping or spider lashes with this. If you're willing to deal with all the downsides, it does give you beautifully soft, fluttery lashes, but it's probably best if you already have long, thick lashes. Or if you just don't care about length or volume. Better drugstore mascaras that I would recommend are Maybelline Lash Sensational and Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies. Both have been my HGs since they were released and I've tried countless high and mascaras.

Lip Gloss -wet n wild -Megaslicks Balm Stain (all colors)

My favorite is See If I Carrot. Coral of the Story was if you have yellow undertones that color won't work for you. This was the perfect STAIN. Not very balmly or moisturizing at the end of the day but the color was still there. This was a little pricey at about $5-6 each but it had a lot of product. I was a very light color and perfect for lunch meetings where you didn't want to look like a washed out zombie but had to eat something.. I have to note that this does come off with oil. The packaging was clunky. Not something you could easily carry around but wasn't really a problem because there wasn't really a need to reapply. unless you've eaten oily food was really no need to reapply because it was a great stain.I would have to say though the clear cap was really a problem for me because it would easily come off. I wouldn't lose it or anything it's just that I didn't want my naked balm bouncing around my purse/make up bag completely unprotected to crumbs/dirt/dust. Sadly I believe this product has been discontinued for a long time now but I am most certain now. I checked the wet n wild site and this product wasn't listed. If I go on blogs that talk about this balm and click the links they are all broken. Sad to see this go as it was one of the more cheaper stains out there.

Lipstick -wet n wild -MegaLast Lip Color - Bare it All

on 6/16/2018 5:43:00 PM

All the countless searching and days of looking washed out now are gone! This color is my perfect nude. It is not too dark or light and it still has a tint of pink to it. My skin tends to switch to a darker oily mess at the end of the day so whatever color I apply at the beginning of the day would match my skin color by the end of the day! But this nude is great because it has a subtle pink to it. And it is cheap.. like $2 Target cheap.. as of right now 06/16/18. So yes the is no harm in trying this out because this is the perfect office job nude.

Foundations -wet n wild -Photo Focus Foundation

Who paid all of those youtubers to say this was good lol.
I was dry-very dry skin and I could have fried food on my face with how much oil I was producing
It drys super matte and looks cakey too and wouldn't sit on certain areas of my skin at all, and then within a couple of hours the grease comes out???
Seriously how did all of the beauty gurus hype this up
