Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild -Color Icon Pencil - Black

on 2/23/2018 7:26:00 PM

OK. I tired so many Kohl pencils that irritated my eyes a lot. This is the only one that gives me the effect I am looking for without the irritation. It is very pigmented and creamy and applies really easily. I get it for $1.5 at the Dollarama. It is huge. You get a lot for little money. I love it and highly recommend it. I apply it to the lower lash line and it makes them look black and lovely. It doesn't smudge during the day and doesn't get messy at all. I sometimes use it as a liner as well to draw a line really close to my eye lashes line. Hard to use for a wing unless it is sharpened I guess. Hope you found my review helpful. Thanks so much for reading.

Pressed Powders -Wet 'n' Wild -Coverall Pressed Powder

This is a great pressed powder. It gets the job done and leaves behind a seamless finish. A great product in general and not just for the price. Plus it's fragrance free so it's great for everyday use as it's nonirritating. Everyone should try this pressed powder.

Foundations -Wet 'n' Wild -Mega Cushion Foundation SPF15

I'm shocked by the excellent performance. I am rarely, if ever, THRILLED with a DS purchase. Sure, I like some of my DS items, but this is way better. I am 53 years old, good skin but a little dry. This just looks like MSBB. I am honestly blown away by this. My skin doesn't really look like I'm wearing foundation, yet I'm all evened out. So much depends on whether you can find a shade that works for you, I'm sure.

Highlighters -Wet 'n' Wild -MegaGlo Highlighting Powder

I own this in Precious Petals and Royal Calyx, currently eying Botanic Dream and White Raven. Precious Petals is a great, glowy formula that is ideal on pale skin. It's on par with some of the best non glittery h/l there are and blends so well. I've reviewed that seperately so check that if you want more details. That is a 5/5 for me.

Royal Calyx is a beautiful cool toned purple BUT it is very different in formula. This has a much sheerer glitter infused formula, more like a sheer eyeshadow with glitter and a shift. It does blend out okay but it takes more work because it's not as finely milled. I notice if I build it up for an intense glow, I both notice the purple hue and the glitter. Normally I pretty much hate glittery formulas, but I've found it growing on me. The one drawback I find is that this is a very cool toned shade, so it may be more difficult to match blush to it. I layer it over a pink h/l and it makes it more wearable and dilutes the purple on my skin.

Overall these are great but you need to know what you want, which is hard when they are rarely in stores. Walgreen's had a small cardboard display with Royal Calyx and Botanic Dreams plus Gold Bars, and they now carry Precious Petals in their store line up. If you see them in stores I'd steer more towards the ones that seem metallic vs glitter infused, unless that's your thing. Final note: the packaging is PITA!
