Foundations -wet n wild -Mega Cushion Foundation SPF15

Price is right, coverage is good, application is easy, finish is skin-like. Definite repurchase.

I love cushion foundations for their skin-like finish. I didn't try this one for awhile because I have normal - oily skin and was concerned it would slide off. But, after a light application of powder it stays put all day.

The mirrored top already broke (and I've had it less than a week) which doesn't effect the product since the inner seal is fine.

I wash the applicator pad after each use, first with an oil based hand soap and then with my Daiso sponge & brush cleaner. I noticed if I don't do this the sponge can get smelly. Don't want that.

I have tried applying with a brush and with the applicator provided, and vastly prefer the sponge. It gives that natural skin finish. My skin has hyper pigmentation due to scarring, as well as a small bit of texture and medium pores on my cheeks. Cushion foundations applied with teh provided sponge give the most natural finish that I can;t get with any other foundation product/application.

The coverage is good, and the shade range works for me. I am pale, so even with my summer tan I can find a match.

The other cushion foundation I've used is the Maybelline. Because the amount of product is generally less than other formulas, I don;t like to spend much. Both the Maybelline ($16) and Wet n Wild are great products and I will definitely repurchase.

Primer/ Corrector -wet n wild -Photofocus Matte Finish Setting Spray

First two things about this setting spray: 1. It is NOT MATTE. 2. The spray bottle SUCKS. That said, I'm kind of torn and here's why: even though the finish is not matte, it's gorgeously glowy and natural (without a bunch of shine) on an oily-skinned gal like me. Also, it really does help set and keep makeup (especially mineral) in place during humid, hot days. The pump does spray, but it also sticks down (at least the one I got) and leaks in your makeup bag. It's annoying and probably enough to put most people off of repurchasing, but I guess I am stubborn or cheap or both, because I will likely try it again and re-bottle it. I will use a coupon and not be happy about buying it, but damn it, I probably will because it's one of the best formulas I've used- and at a lowball price.

Lip Liners -wet n wild -Perfect Pout Gel Lip Liner

Super inexpensive (around $3) at Walgreeens and they go on super easily and smoothly. I got shade 654C "Never Petal Down" - the palest pink I could find but it is still kinda bright. I like these alot so far. Wish they had a true nude/neutral and a very pale pink (ballet slipper) one.

Lipstick -wet n wild -MegaLast Metallic Liquid Catsuit Liquid Lipstick

Bought 2 of these (2 for $10 at Walgreen's) in a Red and a Coral/Nude for my 13 year old
She LOVES them - same manufacturer as Kat Von D and a fraction of the price. Highly pigmented and long lasting. (The red one - can stain).

A great value. She claims they last a long time and do not migrate.

Lip Liners -wet n wild -#666 liner

I bought this after seeing many positive reviews. I find it to be below average- mines in the trash after trying it for a few weeks... its got a strange muddy color, and very waxy texture. Yuck.
