Pressed Powders -Wet 'n' Wild -Photo Focus Pressed Powder

on 1/17/2018 9:39:00 PM

I was honestly shocked at how good this powder is. I kind of bit the bullet getting it because I generally avoid powder-based makeup made in China (lead, asbestos, etc) but Wet N Wild is a pretty established name with a good track record despite their rock-bottom prices. This blends so beautifully and imparts a radiance-without-oily-shine that is far beyond its price point. I have even used it in place of mineral makeup on days I don't feel like I need foundation! it sets concealer well too. The packaging is pretty standard budget fare and chintzy, but the lid has at least stayed attached. I will likely purchase again and am considering even using in my pro kit, since it photographs so beautifully, as long as my clients don't mind the less-than-luxury brand. Hey, it works! which is more than I can say for some powders 5x the price!

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild -Megalast lipstick 908 Sugar Plum Fairy

on 1/17/2018 12:53:00 PM

Sugar Plum Fairy may be too purple for some, but I really like it on NW15 me.
On me, Sugar Plum Fairy is sort of magenta berry, with approximately equal parts pink and purple.
Applied generously, then blotted, it comes out as a pretty long-lasting smooth stain.
I find Sugar Plum Fairy to be surprisingly high quality, for very little money.
And it's cruelty-free; otherwise I wouldn't buy it.
As others have mentioned, packaging is low-end, but I can deal.
I hope this is NEVER discontinued!

Bronzers -Wet 'n' Wild -Color Icon Bronzer - Bikini Contest

Hit pan on my first buy, dropped it and continued using the crumbled few grains left before I could repurchase lol.

I love this product- you get a lot of product for the price, it's long wearing, not streaky and blends well, and really provides my NC 20 skin a lovely glow.

Have re-purchased it again. Felt that Ticket to Brazil was too light on me.

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild -Pearlescent Pink

I loved this blush, although I do think it was kind of bright. Unfortunately it fell apart in my makeup bag so I’m going to have to keep it at home. It doesn’t travel well. I read about this color on a beauty page on Facebook I think.
