I would describe this scent as a spicy floral. It has a long wear time, and it's a great for evenings.

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret -Love (fragrance solid)

on 11/10/2017 9:35:00 AM

I am really enjoying this fragrance solid. I have never bought one of these before so, what a treat! This is in a tube that you roll up and swipe on. Very convenient! So on to the actual scent...perfection! The cotton flower scent along with a little teensy sweetness and some kind of musk or deepness, just sends my heart into happy songs! Ha ha!
So comforting, inviting & snuggly! I cannot stop using this!

I’m a fan of this product
it’s quite affordable and works really great
I don’t think MAC or UD can overcome my love for this exact setting spray

Too bad they discontinue this product, I really hope VS reconsidering to bring back this amazing setting spray on the market.

I just found out Victoria's biggest secret is testing on animals. So won't be buying unless proven otherwise

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret -Vanilla Coconut Passion

on 10/31/2017 5:39:00 AM

I've been wearing Coconut Passion pretty much daily for about six and a half months. My preferred daily fragrance is Etat Libre d'Orange Secretions Magnifiques (yes, really), but I'm currently unemployed, and don't want to risk using it up. I get tired of fragrances, especially uncomplicated ones, so quickly, so six and a half months is an incredible run for something so unassuming.

For an inexpensive, casual, all occasion sort of fragrance, Coconut Passion is very well done. It's mostly creamy vanilla, which isn't too artificial; the coconut plays second violin, and is a toasted coconut sort of scent rather than suntan oil, raw coconut, or artificial coconut. The drydown is a nice, clean skin scent; nothing too musky or astringent. Coconut Passion is very sweet overall, but somehow manages to avoid being overpoweringly saccharine on my skin, a problem I often have with sweet fragrances.

The body mist lasts for several hours, and is pretty strong for a body mist - this isn't one you want to totally douse yourself in. It does settle into a soft scent within a few minutes, but has enough sillage to be noticeable to anyone within a couple of feet. Where I live, the overarching style is quite casual, and this fragrance fits in comfortably without being insipid or boring. Boyfriend loves it. Other men like it; women like it; even much older ladies have complimented me on it. The vanilla/coconut balance somehow makes Coconut Passion work in cool weather all the way through to broiling hot 100+ temperatures/98% humidity. I doubt this will become Eau de Violaceopes on a permanent basis, but it's perfect for the when and where of my life right now. It's something I can put on without worrying about touchups, excessive sillage, or appropriateness; a true go to fragrance. I've occasionally used it as an air or clothes freshener; it lasts practically forever on fabric.

A footnote on the initial strength: I've had more than one person comment on the delicious smell that comes wafting out when I open my bedroom door after showering/dressing. I maintain that this is one to use sparingly!
