I accidentally posted this review in "Unlisted Brand", forgetting that Vasanti did have a listing in the "Brands" drop-down so I am copying and pasting here:I really love the Vasanti products I've tried over the years and I also love that this is a CANADIAN company with first rate products - totally effective, luxury type products but at less than luxury prices. My big complaint though, is that they have some really lame errors in their packaging/labelling. They make a wonderful Serum and nowhere on their site or on the bottle or on the box does it say to shake the product before using....nope, that's on a really tiny sticker on the UNDERSIDE of the bottle, clearly an afterthought but one they should have corrected (and still haven't). Ditto this eye cream....on the jar and on the website, it tells you to use it day and night for 28 days and then as needed for maintenance but on the box, it clearly says to use it for 36 days and nights. Stuff like this is just sloppy and careless and makes a company look unprofessional. I've posted about this on the Vasanti site and didn't even get a reply. And it's why I took off a "lippie" for packaging, Okay, so I got that off my chest and now onto the product itself....The first jar I got of this was clearly old stock. I got it home, opened it and knew from looking at it that something was wrong and the "cream" had turned into a little waxy blob at the bottom of the jar. I returned this to Shoppers Drug Mart and got a new jar and that's when the "old stock" issue became apparent because the outer cardboard box graphics had been totally redesigned. And I love my new eye cream. It's 20 ml. (as opposed to the 15 ml. that seems standard with eye creams) for $42, making it considerably more affordable than my "go to" Clarins Super Restorative, and the jar packaging means I will get every bit of product I paid for. The cream itself is lush and rich feeling but not at all greasy. It really hydrates my under eye area, helping concealer to apply in a smoother, less dry and patchy way. I've been trying out IT's Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Concealer for the past few weeks and that product can look dry and scaly but not if I use this eye cream and leave it to soak in for a few minutes. Eye Wonder promises to reduce "the look" of dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles. I don't know if it will (reducing "the look" is such a nebulous claim) but I really like this product simply for providing hydration to my eye area without irritating my eyes at all. Super product.

Got this in a beauty subscription (IPSY). It's okay but as most eyeliners doesn't like to stay on my eyeballs or waterline... which is interesting because the name would indicate it should stay on the waterline.... I digress. It's not a "bad" eyeliner by any means but it's just not great. It's not worth $10 IMO... I would either stick to the Milani which is much more accessible where I live or the Rimmel Scandaleyes (both are cheaper as well)

This blush is classified as a 'brightening mineral powder'. I picked this up cuz I wanted that sun kissed glow. The color is more of a orangey peach...finely milled and has a great colour payoff and blends beautifully. It can go from subtle to intense pending on the look you want to achieve For me, I love the natural glow it gives my cheeks when applied. Packaging is all cardboard- flip-up lid which contains a mirror (similar to The Balm packaging). Fairly large square product pan which I know is going to last forever. I really like to use this in the summer with a lil golden bronzer highlight. As a product it is excellent in its composition and performance... worth checking out the Vasanti line.

Like several others, I got this in one of my monthly subscription boxes (Birchbox? Ipsy?), and like several others, I really like it! It rides the line between too abrasive and not abrasive enough. (My skin is pretty sensitive; combination.) My skin looks soo clear right after exfoliating, like I scrubbed 10 years off! I follow up with an extra-thick moisturizer, and I wake up looking so glowy! Love it!

The full name for this product is "Age is Just a Number Elixir" and Vasanti says this is "a facial oil and powerful serum in one". I've got so many facial oils and serum-y type products that it's a shame I only have one face to use 'em on but I'm still always up for trying something new. I love the products I do have from Vasanti and I'm always happy to support a Canadian skin care/makeup brand. "Age is Just a Number" sells for $62 in Canada, I believe, but I was able to get it for 20% off on Seniors Day (every Thursday) at SDM. You get a fair bit of product for the price, compared with a lot of other brands like Lancome, Sunday Riley, etc. This is a lovely product with lovely packaging....a solid, hefty black/grey ombre'd glass bottle with a pipette/plunger type dropper so it's really precise and hygienic. The product itself is great. As suggested, I use 2 drops in the daytime and 3 at night, before my moisturizer. I'd been using this for a week or two, however, when I happened to turn over the bottle and found a sticker there that said "Shake well before using". This is nowhere else on the packaging, instructions or even on their website instructions. How many people think to look on the BOTTOM of a bottle for further instructions? I sure don't! And I've contacted them about this oversight...they need to improve their instructions if this is so vital. I do love what this does for my skin. I apply it over slightly damp skin right after cleansing and even the 2 drops I use in the day spread out beautifully and this doesn't leave a greasy feel or interfere with makeup application. I find my skin looks calmer and somewhat plumper and this is having a beneficial effect on my pores as well. I only wish I knew how to use this in combination with my AHA creams but I'm not at all sure how to create a routine that would work using this and an AHA and a day/night cream all at the same time so I alternate at night between this and my Alpha Hydrox 12% AHA Souffle Cream.
