Waited 12+ months to review this expensive luxury foundation purchased at Credo in SF. It works GREAT for me and even though it’s expensive it has lasted me way over 12 months now. It evens out my complexion and makes my skin dewey - but not oily. I fully intend to buy again when I run out which I think will be in another couple months. Really liked everything about this item (the herbal smell others note didn’t bother me) and I am surprised it has mixed reviews here.

EDIT: 18/01/19 Having lived with this for a bit, I've decided that this should be renamed The Emperor's New Foundation. Put it this way: you know things are messed up when you're using your $15 Marcelle City Cream when going out and grudgingly reaching for your $70 stick when you're at home writing or doing laundry.ORIGINAL REVIEW Well, I shelled out a king's ransom on this ($70 at the local natural apothecary-type shop), having tried a sample that had been dug out into a jar. I really don't have that sort of money to toss around, but I thought this would fill a niche for travel etc/ On the plus side: this has wonderful ingredients, feels lovely going on, is highly portable, doesn't irritate my skin and leaves a fresh, dewy glow. The smell hovers between mould and plants, but it doesn't irritate me particularly. On the down side: nobody likes a fresh, sheer finish as much as myself (I live in fear of cakiness), but this is pretty darn minimal in the coverage department. Concealer is a must (I use Cover Fx, which is quite hard core) as is setting powder. Lasting power is non-existent. To my mind, this would be better served by a name that didn't imply it was an actual foundation but more of a sheer tint stick. I plan to use this up during the winter but cannot justify spending that sort of money on something that doesn't totally pull its weight.

I'm always so seduced by green beauty products. I wanted to support this little company from Taos and their mission, but this particular product leaves me cold. The Mesmerize Eyeliner in Truffle is a lovely rich brown--it looks great going on. However, the cap pops off more often than not in my bag, and the tip smushes itself into a pulp so that I have to sharpen and resharpen. Worst of all, it migrates and smudges like gangbusters, and I always end up looking like Alice Cooper by noon. I'll try and set it with powder liner to use up what I have, but I'm not repurchasing. At $28 Canadian, this was an expensive mistake.

The packaging is horrible. I received a Multi-Use that was broken and would not lift, so therefore unusable. Manufacturer would not replace. I will try other green beauty brands multi use sticks instead to replace it.

The 1, 2 and 3 lippies accurately describes this product. I would add that it is not worth the price - works like an oil based concealer and is too sheer.
