ive bought this 3 times, 2x when they had the full sized duos and this past ulta fall sale. i think it does a good job, i have pretty normal skin so whether or not i use this, i cant really tell that big of a difference. i like the effect and feel of this product, i also like to spray my sponge before pouncing my foundation into my skin. i buy it bc its goes on sale and can last me quite a long time.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay -Eyeshadow Primer Potion Anti-Aging

on 10/11/2018 10:33:00 PM

This was awful. Urban Decay hasn't been able to come up with a good way to package their primer potions over the years and this crappy container is just another example. What even is that little wanna be doe foot in there?

I've tried using just the amount that comes on the little stick, I've tried squeezing out and adding more... every single time... it creases... and bad.

Their regular primer potion works fine/great for me... but this more expensive anti-aging version is absolutely pointless...

I mean.... if I want anti-agin... I ESPECIALLY don't want it to crease!!!!! Holy hell this product is bad.

Yeah the regular version is good... but because of the little stick applicator... I'll stick to Too Faced, even though their reputation has started to fall lately. At least I can trust their primer and it's packaging.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay -Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Eden

Only buy this if you are extremely warm toned. I am neutral leaning yellow with green eyes. I thought I'd be warm enough to pull this off, but alas it looked very unnatural on me. It might be due to my ashy eyebrows, or maybe I'm not as yellow as I thought. Who knows.

Anyways the formula comes with the same issues I had with Sin. The shimmer leaves my eyelids looking 90, even though sans this primer there are no wrinkles. It also balls up any foundation/concealer I applied prior.

I'm not a fan. There are a lot of better eye primers on the market.

Palettes -Urban Decay - - Naked Cherry

on 10/9/2018 5:33:00 AM

If you had problems with the color scheme of Anasastasia Modern Renassaince palette, you will most likely have those issues with this palette. This is no doubt a stunning palette. I am not going into too much detail about the shades here because, this review is a reminder to me not to be dazzled by its beauty again. I was so sucked in by the sheer beauty of this palette that I told myself, "Hey 1017, Urban Decay made warms so neutral you could even pull off the HEAT Palette...you can rock this gorgeous Cherry palette. They will make these shades neutral enough to be workable...try it!". So I ordered it immediately. But just like the MR palette, I kept applying all different ways only to have something feel off. Then I went back and played with the HEAT palette and the issues with Cherry, ON ME, became immediately apparent . With my nw20, deep winter, very pink but with golden undertoned skin, brown eyes with pretty bad genetic dark under eye circles, I looked sick in the hues of the Cherry palette. I tried to play with them to prove this theory wrong, but even on colors that looked a bit safer than others, my eyes still looked smaller & tired. The two days I went back to the HEAT palette to test my theory about Cherry just being not great on me, my eyes were wide and Disney like. My eyes shined, not the eyeshadow. My skin looked so healthy, my eyes looked so awake. You saw me, not my makeup with the HEAT palette. I have finally given up on my Naked Cherry dreams. :(

Everything about it is reminisent of the usualy style of the Urban Deay paletes. I personally found some of the shades not as high in quality as previous palettes (but maybe it was just the colors didn't look great on me...IDK). I have heard some You Tube reviewers say they wish the darkest color was a touch darker too. The packaging and color scheme is breathtaking, I litterally gasped in awe the first time I saw this palette. I would show it to friends and they would gasp. It is beautiful. And if you can wear these hues, try it. It is so pretty. If you already have MR, I don't think you need this palette. I am giving this 4 lippies not because the colors didn't work for me, but the quality of the shades didn't impress me like previous Naked palettes. I really should give it a 3 (and maybe I will adjust at one point), but if loved the colors on me more, I might be able to over look the shortcomings in quality. I would rate it a 3.5 if I could. 3 seems harsh, 4 seems too forgiving.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay -Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Sin

on 10/7/2018 5:24:00 PM

I found this to be too dark on my <NC10 (extremely pale) skin. The color IS beautiful, just too dark for an all over lid color and it gets even further messed up by the fact most eyeshadows I put over it are darker. The solution is to apply less of it to get it sheered out, but that's a difficult task. I hate that this balled up the foundation/concealer applied prior. It doesn't have an even application on my skin. Adding insult to injury - this gave my lids a crinkle effect and they sure as hell wouldn't be crinkle-y without this. No amount of eye cream will fix that, it's the amount of shimmer in the formula.

I won't repurchase.
