Too Faced

Too Faced Cosmetics was founded in the US in 1998, by Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson. (Blandino had worked at Estee Lauder makeup counters in the mid-90's.)That same year the company created the "world's first glitter eyeshadow." Known for its innovative style and intricately detailed products, the brand grew quickly and was eventually acquired by Estée Lauder in 2016.

Palettes -Too Faced -Life's A Festival Eye Shadow Palette

on 6/24/2018 12:06:00 PM

This palette is definitely up my alley!!!! I love all things holographic and i love unicorns!!!

The e/s in this palette are super pigmented and blend out like a dream!!! All the colors pack a punch even when used dry!!!! You can also use them wet and they 're even more metallic and holographic.

I'm still kinda iffy on the packaging. it's cute but does look very cheap especially compared to the new Tarte Mermaid collection that came out.

Primer/ Corrector -Too Faced -Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer

I am reviewing for the oil free version which is also for sensitive skin. Not sure if they sell it anymore because I can’t find the page for that one, it’s in a white tube rather than the pink tube. This is an ok silicone primer, does the job. But probably won’t repurchase because it doesn’t hand out to me in any way given the price being on the higher side.

Bronzers -Too Faced -Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer

This product earns five stars in every category. Exquisite texture and color allows a light touch with the brush to assure beautiful, believable warmth. I do not contour, applying this product only where sun would naturally hit on high points of face. A masterful creation, Too Faced. Thank you.

Palettes -Too Faced -Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Collection Palette

Gorgeous, highly pigmented warm colors. Beautiful on my NC35 complexion with brown eyes. Much warmer, with creamier texture than UD Naked, which has been my go-to until now. One lippie off for price and also lack of brush or carrying place for my own brush.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced -Chocolate Gold Eye Shadow Palette

I had no intention of buying this palette. I don’t own any of TF chocolate palettes because I’m not that into neutrals- so I don’t need dozens of neutral palettes. When I saw the promo pics I felt indifferent, thought “another neutral palette, groundbreaking”. But I got a coupon from Sephora so I went to store to check out potential buys.
When I saw and swatched Chocolate Gold though- it was an instant love. Those greens, silvers, purples and golds!
This palette looks 10 times better iIRL than on photos.
Formula: The pigmentation of most shades is amazing. They’re very creamy, so I apply shimmers with my finger and the color payoff is great. My top 3 shades are “Chocolate Gold” (intense yellow gold, it’s great it’s one of the two big shades), “Money Bags” (forest green), “Old Money” (copper).
All shimmers look pretty applied all over the lid. I was hoping the fuchsia shade will be equally pigmented, but sadly it’s not. I’ll still reach for it though bc I love pink shadows.
The plastic packaging was a small disappointment- I was expecting metallic case like my Sweet Peach palette has, but the gold part collects fingerprints.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and absolutely recommend it.
