Primer/ Corrector -The Estee Edit -Radiance Activator Treat+Prep+Glow

It's funny that only now, when the whole Estee Edit line has been gone for at least a year, there is now a separate brand category for it because when I first tried some of these products (geared, I think, to a "younger" crowd) there was no separate listing and it was all lumped in under the "Estee Lauder" umbrella.

I first got this primer/illuminator when it was marked down at Sephora as the entire line was being discontinued. I have since been lucky enough to score a few more bottles at Marshall's for under $20 CDN. They actually have lots of these in store but I think having a bottle on the go and 3 backups is more than enough (at least for now!). It's packaged in a great pump bottle that dispenses just the right amount but you can also pump out less - the pump is easy to use that way. The product itself is a combination of serum and primer and it is very nice indeed. It really does hydrate nicely without being greasy and it imparts a very flattering finish that is dewy but neither greasy nor glittery. As a primer, it works beautifully - foundation applies nicely on top but, to be honest, I am quite happy using this on its own, with only a facial sunscreen and no foundation or CC cream at all. In Canada, this originally retailed for $65, which seemed a bit steep for a "side-line" that seems aimed more at a younger market that might want a more budget-friendly option but the $19 price now makes this product an absolute bargain. While it's not something I use in summer, as soon as the cooler temps come around, this is a real favourite over my moisturizer, either on its own or as a foundation primer.
