I bought this on Amazon as a gift set with the matching facial lotion. I have very fair, sensitive skin. My chin is very red and dry. Sometimes my skin breaks out in little hives, which eventually turn into raised red marks lasting a few days :( I drag the dropper across my cheeks (equivalent to about 3 drops/cheek) and rub/pat in the oil. I have not had a single spot since I began using this a few months ago. The smell is bearable and not an issue at all. The oil absorbs quickly and my skin feels AMAZING even in the morning. I will definitely repurchase this.

Cleansers -The Body Shop - Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter

I have bought this over and over again. I prefer it to the oil, even for getting waterproof mascara off.

It smells pleasant, but even though I have irritable rosacea skin it doesn't irritate. It feels comfortable on my skin - however I always double cleanse.

I love it for travel and only find it can be tricky to open if my hands are greasy or wet!

I bought this to replace my Clinique Take The Day Off balm and I don't think I'll go back. I get this for £7 and it lasts me around 2 months. What's not to love? I love it and will buy again.

Cleansers -The Body Shop - Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

My HG cleanser - doesn't break me out, doesn't dry my skin out, and it removes makeup like a charm! I use it especially on days where I feel my skin is irritated or I have on-coming breakouts - my skin instantly calms down and my acne spots appear less red.

I use it on dry skin, either using my fingers or my cleansing brush and wash away with lukewarm water.

Repurchase? ABSOLUTELY!

My only gripe is the packaging: it's rubbish! It oozes product even when not used, so i constantly have to wipe down the bottle and either place something underneath it or wipe down whatever surface I place the bottle on.

- Gentle on skin
- Melts away makeup like nothing I've ever tried

- Bad packaging

Liquid -The Body Shop - Shade Adjusting Drops in Lightning

on 3/22/2017 2:49:00 PM

Where has this product been all my life? Most of the foundations I've ever bought have turned out ''almost light enough'' and this would have saved me lots of wasted money! Anyway, better late than never as they say.
The liquid itself has a cool tone but since I have used it only to lighten slightly darker foundations it hasn't affected the tone, texture, coverage or longevity of them. I don't have issues with the dropper either although I'm not fond of dipping it in and out of the bottle daily for hygienic reasons. Would definitely repurchase but meanwhile I can see this lasting a seriously long amount of time.

Masks -The Body Shop - Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask

i cannot stand this mask! it's incredibly gritty and uncomfortable to remove, it's so thick that it tugs on your skin during application (i've recently discovered that applying it with wet fingers helps to mitigate this significantly, but still! why so thick!), and i don't notice that it does anything exceptional for my skin. i don't know if my standards are too high or what, but i'm of the opinion that if a product doesn't make a significant, conspicuous difference on my skin after a few uses, it's not worth the money. if it have to work hard to see a difference, then other people are going to have to work even harder to notice a difference in the quality of my skin. not a fan for the price and will be using this as a spot treatment exclusively from now on. and i have gone through half my tub using it as a full face mask, i've used it several times in doesn't even do anything to control my oil production. really disappointed. at least it didn't break me out, and for that reason, i gave it two stars instead of just one.

tbh i don't find the body shop to be anything special in general....many moons ago their tea tree line piqued my interest and i picked up a set of products from it, but once i realized i could just add tea tree oil directly to my own kit i realized it was truly just a very gimmicky idea and it's put me off the brand altogether. their body soaps and butters smell divine and i'll still purchase those, but as far as skincare goes, i'm not in love with anything enough to want to try their other face products. won't be repurchasing and don't recommend.
