Toners -Thayers -Cucumber Witch Hazel Alcohol-Free Toner

on 12/8/2017 12:20:00 PM

Switched from Dickensons to this because this had a lot of other added ingredients that I️ thought would be nice for my skin. I️ have very oily skin, but I️ do have a routine that controls it very well to the point where I️ can finally go a whole day without blotting and not look like a deep fryer. The Dickenson toner was apart of that routine and worked great but I️ wanted to try this to see if it was better. This left a disgusting film on my skin and I️ do let my toner sink in before I️ continue with my routine. Not only that but it made me look so greasy and required me to blot my skin two hours after use. I️t didn’t make me produce more oil, but the residue left on my skin make me look gross. Sad I️ wasted my money on this, the ingredients in this are wonderful and I’m sure beneficial, but for the price looking like a grease ball isn’t worth it. Buy the Dickenson brand, you get a lot more product for a lot less.

Toners -Thayers -Rose Petal Witch Hazel Alcohol-Free Toner

on 11/15/2017 11:17:00 PM

I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. If you have sensitive skin or rosacea, stay FAR away. I honestly cannot understand the amazing reviews for this. Always heard witch hazel was supposed to be a nice gentle toner, and that rose was good for sensitive skin. It even has aloe vera in it, so I thought, why not, it's pretty cheap. WRONG. I do not get acne. Ever. This product gave me the biggest, worst cystic acne I've ever had in my entire life. It was on my face for 3 weeks before I finally saw a dermatologist to get it professionally drained and prescription meds to make it go away. At one point it had 3 WHITEHEADS ON ONE PIMPLE. It was awful. I was ashamed to go out, make up could not cover it. I still have a scar and hyper-pigmentation; my skin will be recovering for months. And all this is after using the product ONCE. I know for a fact it was this product. Run as fast as you can, ladies. Never again will I trust a product from Thayer's or anything with witch hazel in it. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Toners -Thayers -Lavender Witch Hazel Alcohol-Free Toner

on 9/11/2017 12:07:00 PM

Very nice alcohol-free toner. No breakouts, stinging/burning or adverse effects while using this twice a day. I don't recommend it as a makeup remover since it's so gentle, and you'll go through a lot of cotton pads. Soft lavender scent and leaves my skin refreshed and smooth. I will repurchase, maybe in another scent.

I used to use the on my teens and early 20s and it really helped keep my acne under control. I stopped using it when got into Paula and Beautypedia but lately I've been questioning their advice. Also this product seems to get a lot of love with people with acne prone, dehydrated skin like mine is now. My acne has. gotten pretty bad now in my late 30s. I bought this in desperation last week and its really helped my skin out.
