BB Cream -Sulwhasoo -Perfecting Cushion (Brightening)

I`ve got this in the lightest shade, which is a really good match for my complexion. The coverage is light, hardly close to medium. The finish is dewy, a little too much so for my taste. My skin is combination to oily, so this might be better for me in colder weather, I suppose. For spring this works okay, if I set it with powder, but it starts to break up after 4,5 hours and separate in my T-zone. Which is true of most cushion or dewy foundations in general. It smells of ginseng, a smell I neither like, nor hate. The reason I won`t repurchase is because this is almost 60 bucks, so I`d never spend so much money on a foundation that doesn`t amaze me.

Lip Treatments -Sulwhasoo -Essential Lip Serum Stick

These are simply lovely. Gorgeous depth of color, while still remaining sheer; they last on the lips, albeit not like a lipstick, of course, and the balm is terrific stuff. I was more-than-pleasantly-surprised by the product, to be honest. I'd splurged on it (color 8, soft rose), to find something other than the "usual" balms for daytime. (I'm a devotee of Nuxe's Reve de Miel, for nighttime--unmatched, period.)

I've removed a single lippie for the VERY high price--$35, give or take--and the tube is a bit "girly" for my tastes, but I can't complain about the product at all. It's exactly the consistency and weight I'd hoped for, and as I said, the depth of color took me by surprise--wholly unexpected. I'd thought that the Rose shade would be more like Smith's--but it's almost like a true lipstick. VERY pretty coloring. I liked it so much I've bought another color/shade, and am awaiting its arrival from Korea. ;-)

Will test, and adjust my review in a few months.

Moisturizers -Sulwhasoo -Concentrated Ginseng Cream

My holy grail night cream for dry winter months. This stuff is AMAZING. I am mid-forties with combination skin. It gets super dry in the winter and oily in the summer. Some fine lines around my eyes but overall my skin is pretty decent. I use this cream through the winter and love love love love it. It hydrates of course, but even better, it leaves my skin soft and glowing. I wish I could use it all year long because my skin looks so amazing with it, but it's really too heavy for me in the humid months. It smells like ginseng which gives me a little thrill every time I open the bottle and pat it on.

My evening routine (winter):
Double cleanse with an oil cleanser then a foaming cleanser.
2-3 times a week I do a wash-off mask (I have a bunch of these I love. Surprisingly though, as much as I love the Sulwhasoo line, I don't have great luck with their masks.)
Toner
SKII Facial Treatment Essence (somehow I have a bunch of this stuff but I think it's overhyped. I will move on to a different essence once it's gone.)
Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum
Sheet mask of some kind (my favorite sheet mask brand is WEI. Their sheets masks are AMAZING.)
Sulwhasoo Capsulized Ginseng Fortifying Serum
Arcona Gentle Solution OR Retinol
Korres brightening oil OR a sleep mask
Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream

I have a ton of different products, and often rotate them depending on what I feel like my skin needs that night. The only constants are my Sulwhasoo products: Activating Serum, Capsulized Ginseng Fortifying Serum, and Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream. At 43, I think my skin looks better than it did at 30, and I am constantly mistaken for being much younger. My 25 year old son hates it, because people either ask if I'm his sister or his girlfriend. Obviously I can't get enough of that. haha.

I have become a fan of Sulwhasoo products and have used them for 2-3 years. Last year I was given a trial size of this serum and noticed how much it enhanced the texture and glow of my skin, I have been purchasing it ever since. Granted, it isn't cheap, about $150, but I feel it is a great product that will be in my skin repertoire going forward. I am 53, live in a sunny & dry climate, so I needed to focus my skin care on anti-aging and moisturizing. Since I have been using Sulwhasoo products I have been getting compliments on my skin, even from skin-care professionals. To use the serum, I pump a small amount of serum in my palm and gently pat all over my face, it melts into skin, feels smooth and smells fresh. I follow with Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Water and then Balancing Emulsion, you pat them on your face just like the serum. I use morning and night. I follow with a light moisturizer, I use NIA24, and sunblock. I have purchased the trial set of these products (not very expensive & great packaging) for traveling and it helps to keep my skin supple on long flights.

I love this mask, & use it as my every night cream. I have sensitive, acne/allergy prone skin, & this is WONDERFUL. It's extremely soothing, plumping, & hydrating. It evens out my skin tone, & gives it a healthy glow. I always keep 1 or 2 back-up jars of this, because I never want to run out! Highly recommend.
