Notes from Fragrantica: Top notes are lavender, mandarin orange and red currant; middle notes are coffee, incense and heliotrope; base notes are amber, patchouli, vanilla and mahogany.Beautiful, warm, spicy, and cozy. Definitely unisex, although the opening smells and feels to me like classic ladies perfume--not vintage, per se, but just a smell from my past--a hug from my Sunday school teacher or my grandma passing me her hanky during church. It evolves past that, but that haunting quality is still there for me. I suspect the amber and heliotrope are what is giving me that bit of powdery nostalgia...mixed with the lavender and coffee it definitely is evoking memories of days gone by. The incense and mahogany only enhance that feeling for me, and are also what make this more unisex. This is perfect for Autumn/winter---but I can see it blooming in the heat, if worn sparingly. All in all, a very successful blind buy and I'm glad I managed to snag it before it's too hard to find.(My review is for the EDP)

I am truly happy that I received a decant of this in a swap and didn't blind buy this in a store based on reviews. As a HUGE leather fan I thought this would be right up my alley. But the opening and middle notes are pure pepper on my skin and not in a good way. The top notes have a bit of a floral in there but the pepper overpowers them. Then it transitions into a pepper with possibly a little musk in it but again the pepper is ruling the show. Finally after an hour of wearing it, the leather makes it's appearance. And that is the biggest disappointment. I like my leathers deep, worn and in your face and this one is a trace of that "new brown leather jacket" smell from a mall store but very faint. I'm not sure why some of said the sillage on this is good because through the whole development is wore close to the body with little projection. I've had it on for almost two hours now and there's very little remaining. In fact, I could probably scrub a bit and wear another fragrance. Don't blind buy and try it a few times before you shell out those hard earned bucks on this one. There are so many excellent leathers out there that won't break the bank to choose from. I wouldn't waste time without thoroughly testing this first.

Not the best but I've definitely tried worse makeup removers. This has a gel texture and is able to remove waterproof mascara and stubborn gel eyeliner, though you may need to let the remover soak through your makeup before it's dislodged. It stings my eyes a bit and leaves a residue on my skin, so I can't say that I'd repurchase. This is also scented (Herbs? Cologne?) so I end up washing my face with a separate cleanser afterwards.

My HG primer. On my dry, dull, unevenly pigmented skin, this is the best so far for me. Thicker and more emollient than the laura mercier, this gel like primer makes me literally glow, making my skin looks and feel "bouncy". I am not sure about the wear time because I only wear base makeup when at work or going out. What I love is the very noticeable translucent effect that makes my skin looks hydrated.I just wish this was not so pricey. Definitely not for oily skin.

Review for 06 beige pinkWhile the 03 antique rose in this same range had a matte yet glowing finish ( accentuated with balm underneath such an intense color) 06 is a MLBB shade with a more traditional powdery matte finish. This velvety natural soft pink is a tad livelier, elegant version of my lips, cancelling the dead mauve tone that I naturally have on my pigmented lips. The beige in this color makes it wear as easy as a balanced nude ( not a true beige, just natural).Again no adverse reactions and no strong fragrance.
