Doesn’t heal chapped lips, you have to apply every 5 mins.

Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve -Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm

This moisturizes my lips well. The ingredient list includes petroleum, beeswax, and lanolin. Lanolin is the key ingredient that really helps to moisturize. It's the only Smiths lip balm that includes lanolin, I also like that it doesn't include any plant extracts that can be irritating.

The strawberry scent is ok, it doesn't linger. It reminds me of strawberry cake. This balm does give me "kissable lips", meaning the texture is not too stiff & waxy, it's also not to goopy. It has nice slip, & makes my lips soft.

The packaging is very easy to open, especially compared to Burt's Bees Lemon Cuticle Cream (that was a nightmare to open). The package for Smiths' just requires a light twist and lift, and the lid easily comes off.

Love the smell. Non sticky. Moisturizing. However i still have to keep reapplying it few times in a day but that isn't an issue

I have always suffered from extreme dry lips, so I am always on the hunt for a really good lip balm. This one seems to fit the bill pretty nicely. I always have is on hand, I especially like it at night. It seems to keep my lips pretty hydrated, without feeling greasy. I apply to my lips and any excess I apply to my cuticles. This is a good value and something that I always have at my desk, in my purse and in my night stand. I have recently purchased the tube and works just the same. Will continue to use and have repurchased quite often.

Hhhmmmmmm... I had gotten the original and after saying I'd never get it again because it was just 'ok', I found myself using it often and being drawn to the idea of this one. I didn't have any stores locally that I could get it from so I caved and ordered it online. I was so excited for a yummy chocolatey smell and taste as I love cocoa butter stuff and real chocolate too. But man, was I disappointed in this...... It doesn't smell like decadent chocolate to me at all, it smells like protein powder chocolate. Such a huge bummer. It's hard to describe, but **not** delicious. Very fake and almost nauseating. :( Since I liked the original well enough after some time, using it multiple times a day (I keep it on my bathroom counter and use it after cleansing) I guess I'll do the same for this. If I can tolerate it. This a bit stiffer in the tin, but melts quickly on the lips. The moisturizing power is the same as original, which was not stellar but it feels really good on so I over look that. I have others in my purse with sunscreen in them for the daytime or I just wear lipstick. The containers are cute and could be reused for jewelry or something for travel but overall really expected more from this one. :(

Update: Ugh GOSH these things always grow on me! I upped the review. Might try mandarin next.
