I found that this hairspray was not for me. It left my hair crunchy and wet looking, and after about 2 months the spray nozzle became so badly clogged I could not use the remaining half of the can.I was very disappointed as this was a $20 can of hairspray.

A heat protectant that provides hold! This is a good dupe for Kenra Hotsets setting spray, but isn't quite as stiff as that. This is a good spray to use when using a flat iron or curling iron to spray before you apply the heat to dry hair. It sets the curl and protects against the heat damage. I do a lot of large curled hairstyles and this is my go to for a setting spray/setting lotion. Besides the required heat protection, this provides a bit of hold to keep my curls turned all day and night. I spray my entire head before separating and curling. I always use it on dry hair, but sometimes will roll my hair when it's still wet from the product. It does have the feel of a finishing hairspray (a little stiffness) But that was EXACTLY what I was looking for in a product, as regular hairspray does not protect your hair, and often will burn or flake with heat. Shiny perfect curls that maintain their lushness and shine when combed into style.Besides providing great hold, it also does a great job of keeping flyaways at bay, as it keeps the entire curl or piece smooth and shapely. I find the bottle easier to use than the hotshots spray, as it's a little easier to hold. Since it's kind of hard to find at times, I can't say that I wouldn't use one or the other more often, as they both work for my purposes, although this is my preferred product.

I really like this hairspray, it is the best I have ever used for holding my hair style in place. It also makes your hair feel slightly thicker, like it has a bit more body, even after you brush it out. I did take off a lippie because of the can, I have had a can or two that either didn't spray at all (right after purchasing it) or clogged and stopped working later. I rinse the nozzle immediately after use and store the can upside down now and that seems to help with the clogs.

I’ve never left a review on a beauty product because I’ve yet to find that *one* item I can’t live without. That has changed with this product. My fine, stick-straight, thin hair has body. And even better? I can actually go out in public with second day hair using this product — and my hair looks better than it did the day before! Also, as a frequent traveler, I appreciate that I can pour some into a travel size container.
Truly happy I stumbled across this product. Definitely worth a purchase if you’ve considered yourself doomed to limp, body-less hair in the past!

My hair essentially has three modes: fluffy with uncontrollable flyways (its natural state), smooth but flat (what I usually aim for), and greasy (second day). "Volume" isn't in my hair vocabulary. Or, it wasn't.It is now. What the heck is in this stuff? I use it exactly the way I have been other hairsprays - shampoo, condition, gently wring out, apply serum, back comb, comb over, spray from 12" or so. This is the first time I've gotten any volume whatsoever from a so called volumizing hairspray. My hair isn't flat any more. Yet, Spray & Stay still controls my flyaways and keeps the combed over part in place, without being crunchy. It's just a little sticky, but not distractingly so. Expensive, but I guess this is what I'm buying from now on!Oh, and it smells like Origins Ginger Essence. Not overpoweringly so; just a lingering hint of citrusy-ginger scent. I guess there's a reason I've been seeing Big Sexy Hair products in people's bathrooms for years (I'm a native of Dallas, the Land of Big Hair).
