Treatments (Eye) -Sana -Namerakahonpo Plumping Eye Cream

I got this on a whim, because I was traveling on a conference in Japan and had forgotten to pack an eye cream. For 800 JPY you get a ton of product, I mean the tube looked more like a hand cream tube really. I liked that the product is unscented, it doesn’t contain mineral oils, and it is incredibly hydrating. It contains soy exactract, so it has a lot of isoflavones, supposedly. Does it get rid of dark circles? No. Does it hydrate? Yes. Does it give rise to millia? Unfortunately, yes. Which is why I would not repurchase. But I will keep this for those bitingly cold, windy days or for when I go skiing and I will want a richer, more emollient eye cream.

Skincare - Face -Sana -Hadanomy Collagen Mist

The best thing about this mist is that it smells like a lychee dessert and that it provides moisture whenever handy. The bottle has a permanent place in one of my treadmill's bottle holders, so I enjoy spritzing it on after a run or on a hot and humid Houston day. I've had my bottle since 2013??? I don't use it every day so it's a treat I get to look forward to, and the scent is really fresh and energizing.

I want to include a review for the Hadanomy Collagen Cream - buy this isht. I've only been using it for a few months but I'm in love. It makes my skin feel oh-so-smooth and soft. At first, I didn't like it because I would apply too much, but the trick is to smooth some cream onto a wet face to sheer it out. The cream also smells like lychee and comes in a cutesy pink plastic jar.

Skincare - Face -Sana -Nameraka Foaming Face Wash

I bought this face wash on a trip to Japan because I've read good reviews for on from several bloggers. I have combination skin. This face wash doesn't leave my skin dry or tight, but it does have a squeaky clean feeling between my palms and my face by the time I'm done washing. It also takes a long time to completely rinse off. I like it okay, but wouldn't buy it again.

BB Cream -Sana -Pore Putty BB cream SPF 50+

I have seen this product in Japan and have always thought the name was hilarious. "Pore Putty"! Spackle your face!

It was on the shelves at my local T & T Market and honestly I don't know why I was compelled to buy it. I don't ever wear foundation, concealer nor primer. I think the SPF 15 motivated me; it seemed like a 2 for 1 deal to both "smooth" and protect my face at the same time. I can't read Japanese but the "1" on the yellow crown on the front must have meant something, perhaps it was a #1 best seller in Japan? Another persuasive thing!

This is a very interesting product. You just need a tiny amount. It's smooths on very sheerly and just evens out your whole complexion, leaving it matte and smooth. It's sheer and you don't look like you're wearing makeup at all. You just look very clean and even and matte. It does "putty" up your pores and minimizes their appearance. However, if you have very large pores, I don't think this product would do the trick. It does have great oil control: I had a shine-free face for 7 hours. And I'm someone that needs to do a powder touch-up at 2 hours.

Like the other reviewers have said, if you have dry patches on your face, you can't use this product over them. It will just accentuate your dry patches. Generally speaking, I get pimples within a day if something doesn't agree with my skin, and I'm happy to say, no reaction yet.

It's not cheap; it was $25 CAD at T & T. I'm pretty happy with the results though as I like my face looking clean and matte, and I DEFINITELY don't feel like I'm wearing a heavy mask of foundation.

Here's the English Sana webpage that describes the whole "Pore Putty" line. The write-ups are very short but provides a summary and more than what I could figure out from packaging entirely in Japanese!
