It can be found in 40 countries worldwide, and the brand prides itself on creating affordable, contemporray, cutting-edge makeup.

Concealers -Rimmel -Wake Me Up Concealer

on 8/14/2018 8:05:00 AM

Because of the price, I can't really complain - but you get what you pay for here. The lightest shade is far too orange and dark for anyone with remotely light skin. The texture of the product is oily and slips around - it is absolutely hopeless to blend and when I wear it under foundation, he foundation slides over the top. When I wear it over foundation, it almost removes the foundation underneath when it slides around. Additionally, it lasts less than five hours even with fixing spray and powder. I wouldn't buy this product, especially if you have paler skin.

Eyes -Rimmel -Trio Eyeshadow- Velvet

Pretty darn good. An excellent choice for the price, the shadow is highly-pigmented and applies with ease. When worn with eye primer and fixing spray, mine lasts all day. The colours also really complement each other! A great buy if you are on a budget.

Concealers -Rimmel -Hide The Blemish Concealer in Ivory 001

Horrendous. This concealer was a ghastly orange shade on my cool-toned pale skin. It caked and settled into creases around my eyes and on dry patches on my face. It also failed to effectively conceal blemishes, instead actually drawing more attention to them. Moreover, it caused my skin to break out in eczema and did not last for more than four hours per application. Save your money and buy a better concealer.

Pressed Powders -Rimmel -Stay Matte Pressed Powder

on 8/10/2018 10:40:00 AM

I find Stay Matte to be a decent powder, not the creamiest or most finely milled out there but it's not La Prerie after all and neither is the pricetag. Very inexpensive and contains a rather large amount. The packaging is basic and a bit inconvenient but I've been carrying it in my bag and for two months now and it's still fine.

On to the actual powder now, I'm fair warm toned and got transparent. It has some light pigment but I imagine it would look off only on deep skintones. It does set and matify for awhile albeit there's not much to write home about and would look cakey if layered more than it's necessary. I have also noticed; the fluffier the brush the better the application.

That said I'd recommend to newbies because it's very inexpensive and gets the work done but if you've reached the point of being discerning with your makeup items Stay Matte most likely won't cut it. I would repurchase if on a very tight budget.

Concealers -Rimmel -Lasting Finish 25hr Breathable Concealer

I am sad about this review. I really wanted to love this concealer after my affair with rimmel's match perfection concealer but this did not live up to the same standards. I find it really grabs my dry patches and accentuates my fine lines. I'm not against the shades (rimmel never has many anyway), the coverage is nice and the formula feels good. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't give me hives or break me out, WHICH WOULD BE SO NICE IF IT DIDN'T WRINKLE MY FACE. Honestly finding one that doesn't burn my undereyes is a mission in itself. Like Nars Radiant (not-so-)creamy concealer, I swear I didn't have these all these lines before I put this on. The price point was good but I will not settle. Also I gave the packaging 4 lippies because I didn't even bother with the sponge, I took it right off, I don't like them.
