Shampoo -Revlon -Colorsilk Moisturizing Shampoo Gorgeous Brunette

on 2/23/2018 11:46:00 AM

I adore this shampoo, ever since Aveeno discontinued their shampoos years ago and reformulated them I haven't been able to find a mild shampoo that I like. Finding a shampoo for me is not an easy task, I have dry scalp that acts up in the summer (dry high dessert weather and psoriasis) and dry wavy brown colored hair with a balyage, this shampoo doesn't dry out my scalp, doesn't give me flakes, doesn't strip my color and keeps the color super vibrant and shiny, the shampoo is a warm pearly bronzey color, I leave it for one minute and wash it, I barely loose any hair with this gem.

Lipstick -Revlon -Matte Lipstick - Pink Pout

I have a sea of baby/light pinks because they are a much more natural nude on me. Recently I've been looking for an HG matte baby pink and this is close in color but not quite it. I usually only get liquid mattes but this is like a comfort matte in comparison, it is drying but not like a liquid is. On me this is very close to MLBB, just cooler toned, so it's wear is hardly noticeable, which I like. It faded when eating/drinking but it was still visible after five hours, without any weird flakes or lines liquids can get.

This is a great little DS lippie depending on what you need. It's one of the few cool toned purple leaning pinks that I consider to be wearable for pale chicks. It's very pretty but only worth seeking out if you like pale pinks already and don't mind mattes.

Liquid -Revlon -Colorstay 24hrs Makeup SPF 15 Combination/Oily Skin (US pump bottle)

I really, really, really wanted to love this foundation. It's the only one in Romanian drugstores that *perfectly* matches my very fair, neutral skin tone (I use 150 Buff), and it provides very decent coverage. However, no matter how I applied it (brush/ beauty blender), and even set it with powder, it doesn't want to look good on my face for more than five hours. I have combination (not very oily), sensitive, acne-prone skin. It stays matte, however it sort of breaks down and rubs off at the same time, and somehow ends up looking cakey, flaky, and chalky within a few hours. All of this while patches of redness and blemishes start showing through. I was very disappointed that this didn't get along with my skin. I now use it to lighten other drugstore foundations (most of the time the lightest shades available here are a tad too dark for me).

Finally found the perfect coral shade that is pigmented (Sunset) enough for my lips, warms up my light-medium Asian skin tone, and feels like a lip balm. I would say I actually prefer this over my Laura Mercier gloss stick. I plan to check out other shades next. Projectvanity.com has good swatches of the shades.

Polishes -Revlon -Vixen

I don't really generally care for vampy color type of nail polishes but this is definitely an exception because I love this one! I'm very pale and cool toned so a lot of darker colors just look black and it's kind of pointless but with Vixen I can really see the dark purple color pop... not just a nondescript dark color blahness. I find that these dark purple / blackened red colors are super unforgiving and can really go on looking sloppy for the "amateur polisher" but as someone who's been painting their nails for like 12 years solidly and better skilled than every professional manicurist I've had do my nails I was able to work with this pretty easily...like maybe only one or two nails needed a clean up, which I do with a tiny elf concealer brush and acetone. I didn't have any problems with it leveling or being patchy either but I did find the formula a bit on the thick side so I had to keep closing it and shaking it a bit to get a thinner texture. However the end result is always beautiful. It's also very reasonably priced so I would especially recommend this color to anyone. It's basically a classic at this point...
